**What do you like best about Plauti?**

The ease of use, the quick processing time even with hundreds of thousands of records, and the tools and ability to have our end users participate in our efforts to keep a clean database.

**What do you dislike about Plauti?**

It can be expensive compared to the other tools, especially with price increases over the years, but the account rep/support staff was great in helping us out as much as they could.

**What problems is Plauti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a "siloed" database, meaning each team has private contacts and related data that are only shared within their team, not the entire org.  Because of this data model, duplicates happen very often.  Duplicate check helps us keep it down to a minimum and also gives the user the power to assist us in the effort.

**What do you like best about Plauti?**

Duplicate Check is well thought out as a tool, with excellent development and architecture that stands up to the test. It is the first duplicate check tool I have used (and I have used many) that does everything I want it to do, without any fuss. Support is responsive and knowledgeable, and they have great documentation as well. One of my favorite features is the ability to merge records without overwriting any data. You can set merge rules, field by field, and choose to keep all data from any given field when the record is merge. In the non-profit industry, where people often supply different names and emails at events, this is extremely important for capturing as much donor information as possible without compromising data quality through duplicate records. Now that I have used Duplicate Check for Salesforce, it is my preferred tool for deduping in Salesforce, over other big names I have also used, such as Cloudingo, DupeChecker, Apsona, Traction, ZoomInfo, and of course Salesforce native de-duplication features. Part of this is because Duplicate Check for Salesforce is built natively on the Salesforce platform and works seamslessly while also being relatively easy to set up and use.

**What do you dislike about Plauti?**

I have not discovered any downsides, but I do recommend taking advantage of your free 30 minute onboarding call with the Plauti team. They will really help you make the most out of the tool, even if you are tech-savvy and have read the documentation.

**What problems is Plauti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Duplicate Check for Salesforce is allowing us to bring data from disparate systems together into Salesforce, even though some sources do not contain unique identifiers to prevent duplicates. Duplicate Check runs on API inserts, single inserts, and manual record creation (among other scenarios), all of which we are taking advantage of in order to have a unified view of data across many platforms.

We had a business requirement to consolidate duplicate Account, Contact, and Lead records in our Salesforce environment. Duplicate Check was very useful for identifying duplicates and merging them.

**What do you dislike about Plauti?**

The limit on the number of records we were able to process (I think it was 200,000, and our org had over 800,000) seemed low for our pricing tier, but it was easy enough to upgrade to a higher limit.

**What problems is Plauti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's easy enough to use the out-of-the-box tools that Salesforce offers for managing and merging duplicate records, but they are fairly simple. Duplicate Check offered a lot more features for searching and logic.

**What do you like best about Plauti?**

We have been using Duplicate Check for several years and have just signed up for another 3-year term. Here are a few of my favourite features of this great product. 

DC Jobs - Find duplicates already in your org and fix them. You can schedule these jobs to run real time or daily, weekly or monthly.

Scenarios - Powerful, configurable job options per object to customise your deduplication framework and provide superior results than the out-of-the-box feature.

DC Apex API - Allows Apex and APIs to invoke Scenarios.

Audit Logging - Shows real time information about Duplicate Check actions and which feature/user triggered it.

Monthly Releases - Product improvements and fixes that are automatically deployed. This is a real time saver!! Not having to monitor the AppExchange for updated releases saves me time and allows me to focus on other tasks.

Support - Although there is a significant time difference between Europe and Australia, the support team never fails to provide fantastic support to my team.

Pricing - Very good, considering the versatility and power of the product.

**What do you dislike about Plauti?**

It is not a dislike, but I have found the learning curve steep when digging into the more complex features offered by this powerful tool. Finding time to focus on learning is essential to using Duplicate Check to its full potential.

Easy to setup and when striking difficulties the support team are helpful looking at ways to workaround issues if possible. Appreciate available in Sandbox.

**What do you dislike about Plauti?**

Not able to run a duplicate check on a filtered list, have been advised this may becoming. Cannot have more than merge rule - would like a minimum of 2 plus the fallback rule.

Clearing out duplicate contacts, accounts and leads - have also now put in place rules to avoid future issues.  Also expecting to use it as an import when merging 2 Salesforce databases together.

While this is also a positive, the rules can be highly complex and confusing for less experienced users. That being said, it could benefit from more Boolean options.

Issues with keeping our databases clean and right sized, it is benefiting us because it helps us streamline and optimize our processes and ultimately our work by having clean data.

That we can reduce the number of Cases coming into Service cloud and therefore agents have to search for earlier threads, so the whole story is in one place and therefore easier to manage.
Support was very good and prompt.

**What do you dislike about Plauti?**

The somewhat complex settings to consider. The scenarios where a little hard to understand(Index grouping), so without support it is a little hard to self implement.
Needed a custom field to be able to granular make a filter to exclude merges happening in ceratain scenarios.

Finding duplicate cases, by merging them based on the settings on the Case object. Saving Service Agents valuable time.

Managing duplicates is a constant battle and Duplicate Check is helpful in that it is a tool you can use in many contexts - on records, in Flows, as scheduled jobs!

It can take a little while to get used to the cross-object mapping, but the documentation is helpful, so I've always been able to work through the configurations.

Duplicates come from every direction in a database, so it's important to have different ways to manage them.

I love working with Duplicate Check from Plauti. It gives me all the tools I want and more to keep my data clean. Their support is very good, accurate and fast.

I haven't found anything that I dislike yet.

It helps with finding and merging (potential) duplicates. This makes it a lot easier and faster to keep data clean and up to date. With multiple options you can make it work for all kinds of users, even volunteers to work with DupCheck. They have all the tools they need to determine whether a potential duplicate is ready for merging. It takes some time to become familiar with all the possiblities, but ones you've figured them out it works for you.

It's very easy to use and understand.  I appreciate the ability to make changes in each merge record before saving and to merge more than two records at a time.

The tool works well, and the team works really hard on improving. The communication is clear and they helped us really well with the issues we were experiencing.

**What do you dislike about Plauti?**

The sprints are quite long, and so to get some bugs fixed or have some additional features we had to wait for approximately 2 months for it to be fixed. The user interface with the graphs could be a bit clearer. We're also seeing some red alert for phone numbers that are correct, but international and just require a +.

Our employees manually putting in information that is incorrect. Now, every time they fill in information they can immediately see if it is correct or not, solving a lot of rework.

I like being able to use the duplicate check inside of flows. Keeping our database clean of duplicates is a must.

Getting the hang of applying the correct combination of criteria is a little challenging, primarily due to the complexity of our organization.

It would be more useful if we could drag and drop to multiple rows the fields to view while confirming contacts are in fact duplicates.

The product does what you expect it to do, the documentation is sufficient and the service desk is replying quickly and very helpful.

Tweaking and tuning of the rules can be complex, but that has more to do with the complexity of social data as with Duplicate Check.

The ability to merge custom object duplicates is a game changer.
The native Salesforce integration makes it simple to get users to help with clearing duplicates.   
Scheduling automated jobs based on your criteria to clean up duplicates is an excellent feature.
Customer support is great!

Nothing against Duplicate Check, I wish I had found it years ago.

We have eliminated many duplicates from custom objects that had become a massive pain to our user base.   We now have regained the trust of users.  Everyone loves clean data.

Duplicate Check is great to identify duplicates in custom and standard Salesforce objects.  The support team is very responsive when issues surface.

**What do you dislike about Plauti?**

The job we had configured broke and we had challenges getting it fixed.  Support sent recommendations but ultimately we had to hop on a call to figure it out.

Identification of duplicate records that were created in our Salesforce instance.  We use the app to merge these records.

Very intuitive software. The setup was somewhat easy to navigate, and the platform worked well once you got the hang of it.

Their support was lacking. Very friendly staff, but they were not very supportive. If they offered an option to buy support that would be something we would have looked into.

It helped us remove duplicates and prevent more duplicates from coming through. Much better than the standard Salesforce dedupe tool.

Before you purchase, just know there is still effort that you may need to put in to complete duplicate checks when you have thousands of potential dupes. There is automation that you can insert but you'll want to double check before you let the automation handle EVERYTHING.

The most helpful feature of this utility/package is it's ability to sort the components, smart checks and auto population of respective objects. Typically it helps to reduce the manual mundane actions require a lot of time. Once utility is validate then it works awesome and also allows addition of limited custom fields and objects.

**What do you dislike about Plauti?**

There a lot of duplication check utilities and packages but still the USP of this product from Salesforce is not demonstrated very well. At present it's limitations are the only dislike factor and support to multi data ingestion is less.

**What problems is Plauti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sorting and validation of required fields and objects. It does help to highlight and prompt for dulplicate enteries. The batch management for respective records were cumbersome excercise and this package helped to get rid of that effort.
The add-on features are cherry on a cake.

DC Live allows giving data quality into the hands of our users. At the same time, the manual merge tool allows for precise management of data during merging.

Continuous scanning of our database and the scan-on-insert has proven invaluable in maintaining a clean database, especially with many users and even more records.

While the fundamental functions of the tool are easy to learn, it requires a significant amount of time to have a setup that will work for a specific company.

Deduplication of our customer data base.
Which in turn helps other tools to sync based on contact details.

Ability to automatically detect duplicates and auto-merge them.  Another great features are auto jobs, here I'm able to set very specific jobs to identify other potential duplicates.  This is a great product!

**What do you dislike about Plauti?**

I would like to have the ability in setup to have additional filters (things not to auto-merge).  These next items would make the product even better.  It would be good if it could also compare attachments to see if they are the same.  One last item is it would be great if it would work with Omni Channel queues.

**Recommendations to others considering Plauti:**

This is the only tool out there that is easy to set up and maintain.  When it comes to duplicate check I've tried others and this is the best one out there.

**What problems is Plauti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm solving issues where one customer will send an email to multiple email addresses and this will create multiple cases in multiple queues.  By having this product I'm able to auto-merge these as they come in reducing agent time working a duplicate case.   This tool also helps identify some SPAM attacks.

First of all, it's completly native integrated into Salesforce. That's a significant advantage because your confidential data are not leaving your Org. The solution offers a great UX, and the merging process is very intuitive and stable. You can finetune all your scenarios where it's applied, if you want to process them directly and how you want to handle the merging process. Without considerable effort, you can also implement the solution for custom objects. It's not all about merging. They also offer great options for prevention and handling false positives. 

The support is very responsive and always ready to help. If you're searching for an excellent deduplication solution for Salesforce? Go for it!
