Platybooks is invoicing, quoting and client management for South African small businesses: quotes that convert into invoices, invoices as PDFs, a payment link the customer can pay by card, and reminders that chase overdue invoices without being asked. Prices are in Rand — dedicated Rand price points, not a dollar figure run through an exchange rate — and card payments settle through Paystack into the business's own account rather than through Platybooks. It carries the fields a South African tax invoice and credit note are required to show. There is a free tier. It was built by Che Overmeyer in Johannesburg and launched in 2026.
