Platform.sh fits this profile and is amongst the most flexible of the offerings out there. The interface over the years has improved substantially. The dev tools have always been strong, and this has remained. The partner portal and support materials are completely and cover a wide array of materials. Platform.sh's technology allows you to deploy your website quickly. Running copies of the site in multiple environments allows near-live testing, which reduces downtime and increases quality. Platform cli tool includes lot of useful commands, including access to ssh, drush, etc. Also Slack support is very very effective : Ask a question there and ~30 seconds later you get to discuss directly with senior devs and well known characters of the open source (and Drupal) community. By standardising on Platform.sh we are able to context-switch between projects much more easily than before. Deployments are now an absolute breeze and we've been able to build internal business infrastructure on top of Platform.sh workflows which allow us to innovate quickly for our clients. It's easy to start developing and the most impressive feature in my opinion is how deployments work. The key benefit of platform.sh to our previous hosting solution is that we can make changes to the hosting environment and appication code, test & deploy quickly.
