Planview Verify is an enterprise test environment management (TEM) software solution that helps IT and QA teams coordinate and orchestrate pre-production test environments across the full software delivery lifecycle. It replaces spreadsheet-based scheduling and manual handoffs with a single system for booking environments, managing changes to them, detecting conflicts, and monitoring environment health. Verify is used by test environment managers, QA teams, release managers, and IT operations leaders who need a shared, real-time view of environment availability, configuration status, and upcoming demand across multiple teams and release trains. It manages the full Route-to-Live, from a developer's local environment through integration testing, user acceptance testing, staging, and into production, and works across hybrid combinations of on-premises, cloud, and containerized environments. Main capabilities include: • Test Environment Booking Requests (TEBRs) and Test Environment Change Requests (TECRs) that centralize environment scheduling and change governance, including conflict detection before bookings collide • Route-to-Live visibility that shows which environments a given release has passed through, what has been tested, and which environments are currently occupied • Automated dev-to-test handoff that links build tools such as Jenkins to test environments, triggering testing automatically when new code is ready and linking builds back to their originating change • A Requirements Traceability Matrix and centralized test results reporting that consolidate test execution status, coverage, and defect counts across tools and value streams • Environment health monitoring, uptime and drift reporting, and utilization and cost tracking, including the ability to identify idle cloud environments and turn them off when not in use Verify integrates with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Remedy, build automation tools such as Jenkins, ALM tools, and configuration management databases (CMDBs), and provides a REST API for custom integrations.
