## Planview AdaptiveWork Reviews
  ### 1. An amazing tool to organize engineering projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher G. | Mechanical Engineer / Engenheiro Mecânico, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

In my opinion, the most powerful feature is the capability to manage the milestones of many projects at the same time. Create tasks for other members of the projects it's very great.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The lack of options at the advanced programming tools. The need to manually refresh the site to get the updates (this could be automatic).

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

If you want to save time in your projects, organize the tasks, manage the team, create automatic tasks, Clarizen can help you to do it.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At our company we organize all the tasks related to all engineering projects. With this, we can solve and avoid tasks forgetting, manage the time to reach the tasks objectives and storage the documents that marks the end of each task.

  ### 2. The most easily customisable enterprise software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ekin C. | Head of AgencyTech, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The best thing about Clarizen One is how customisable it is. An administrator can extend Clarizen's data model by adding fields and even entirely new objects to the system, then access those objects via workflows, custom actions, open API and custom panels, which support HTML/CSS/Javascript. This means it is possible to use Clarizen to develop possibly any solution imaginable. Whatever our users have thrown at us in the past 3 years in terms of requirements, we have been able to find a solution and deliver it to them.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen's flexibility is sometimes it's worst enemy. One needs to learn to control one's self in order not to over-customise the system. After a couple of years our realisation was to simplify our build by taking things out of the system. This is not a simple exercise, so our advice to new Clarizen users is now to "keep it simple" and do not over-customise the solution.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Clarizen is extremely flexible and can deliver pretty much every requirement out there. On the flip side it is very easy to get carried away with customisations. "Keep it simple" is the best advice I can give to others.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen One helps us track project status both in terms of delivery (are we going to deliver on time) and finances (are we going to make money from it). We can forecast our profit margin for our customers, projects, milestones and even tasks in real time, which then allows us to make business decisions based on that information.

  ### 3. Simply the Best!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean C. | PMO Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The flexibility to configure the Product for how your business works is the real strength of this product. We have multiple Business Units working in different ways and the product is the only one on the market that has the ability to support this and with real strength.

Other strengths include its ability to capture Data which is fantastic due to the amount of custom fields you can have, the fantastic support staff including the CSM's/Account Managers/Professional Services and the culture of being involved with Clarizen.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I do believe there is genuine work that needs to be done with the look aspect. Roadmaps & Gaant views are not of the standard of the rest of the product.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

The following advice I would give to anyone looking at PPM Solutions:

Look at the other tools in the market and consider how flexible they will be for you in a years time? What you want now won't be the same in a years time and from a cost/efficiency prospective there isn't a better product on the Market for this.

Before you engage with Professional Services; think about how your processes look on the map and look at how Clarizen could improve those processes. No process is perfect and Clarizen does a great job of supporting you in enhancing existing processes.

Learn, learn, learn! The more you learn about the product and the configuring prospective; the more you will be able to do yourself and become a value to your business.

Think about the company's drivers. Other products (not named) focus on a whole feast of different products and their PPM solution may not be their Priority. Clarizen One is the company's policy and therefore expect many upgrades as the years go on.

Embrace the company culture; Clarizen is very much a community. Get involved and reach out to other customers to see if they have any ideas about how you can make more of the tool. Clarizen also listens to its partners to improve functionality. Make the most out of this as its not something you always get!

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You do need a strong network connection for the Work Plans and we're still having to create Roadmaps outside of the tool as the roadmapping at the moment isn't sufficient.

Benefits wise we've been able to have a central log for all Projects, Risks, Requests etc. Reporting has improved as a result of the increased data available. The tool has improved governance overall as the auditing and workflow ability is very useful.

  ### 4. Easily configurable and fast to implement and great support staff

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The ability to configure the application to your needs, in terms of adding or amending data fields and developing workflow and actions is really impressive. This then combined with the reporting capabilities mean that there are very few of our requirements that we haven't been able to fulfil within Clarizen. The introduction of the time-phase reporting across both resources and finances has also been a major step forward, and has replaced a number of our processes previously performed on multiple spreadsheets.
The capacity planning is also a feature that has been of great help to our organisation, and I am impressed with how Clarizen has listened to feedback and quickly implemented changes.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Being a web-based application, one of the challenges is the 'undo' function - and this is not unique to Clarizen. Most users are used to using the 'ctrl+z' to back out any unwanted changes, and you need to get used to this not being available in Clarizen (although you do have the ability to undelete).

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Understand who the stakeholders are. Clarizen provides the ability to easily share information, so you don't necessarily need licences for everyone.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our original requirement was to get visibility of project delivery across our whole portfolio of projects. Previously we were using individual microsoft project plans, spreadsheets, raid logs etc.So we were looking to implement a single platform to provide better visibility and to enforces standard methodology and best practices across all of our projects - this we have achieved with Clarizen.

We were previously tracking costs and revenue via the combination of a third party timesheet system and resource demand spreadsheet. This required a large manual overhead and was also very inaccurate - this we have now implemented using Clarizen so we have removed the separate timesheet system and the manual overhead of collating data into timesheets.

Moving forward we will start to track the time and costs of other activities within the organisation, and not just projects,

  ### 5. Good product with a lot of support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The service provided by the Customer success manager is the most important part of our Clarizen experience, we have a lot of change requests during the year as it's our enterprise tool for Timesheeting, Approval of timesheets, Reporting of timesheet data, Financial and resource planning.
We have a lot of custom fields which we find really useful especially the ability to have calculated fields and also have drop downs, toggles and dependant fields which can work in conjunction with other fields.
We have a lot of users who are now using the Application to manage their project information but uses Jira to manage their project from day to day tasks, we may need to reconsider the integration with Jira to manage those tasks in Clarizen

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Inability to find missing timesheets in an easy way
No Single Sign on for Slack which is available for use but without SSO it is difficult for users to sign in and a potential security issue
For integrations, the available API has limited documentation

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Take your time to set up Clarizen one to cater for your organisations current needs, then review the existing configuration on an ongoing basis to scale up appropriately using support from your CSM or scale down in order to not over complicate your instance.
Also, try to avoid custom fields if necessary and if you aren't using a workflow, disable it.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Custom Executive requests
Managing multiple rates
Timesheeting
Project database
People database
Financial Reporting

  ### 6. Clarizen for Project Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I really like being able to track projects and tasks efficiently. Setting up a project is easy, and the dashboards make it simple to resolve issues and address errors. It's a great way to keep teams on track.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

We use Microsoft 365 so it would be great if Clarizen was better integrated with the Microsoft platform. Right now we have to leave MS to go to Clarizen, and it doesn't work well with SharePoint or Teams.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Understand the level of change required to transition to Clarizen, and be sure to get input from your users before configuration. I suggest a building block training approach. Train users on foundational skills, then build up to more advanced use.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen is helping us keep our projects on track as well as see actual time and resource needs. It also allows our managers an "at a glance" view of their team's progress and productivity.

  ### 7. Clarizen One Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben N. | Digital Advertising Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I'll give a top 5 (in no specific order):
1) Clarizen provides an easily accessible and organized digital record of tasks and projects. This is incredibly useful because for example when questions come up about certain things, it's very easy to trace it back to a Clarizen task and get any information necessary.
2) Clarizen offers a very easy and efficient way to track time. With Clarizen I can easily see how much time I am spending on certain tasks and projects.
3) Clarizen makes it extremely easy to upload and download files.
4) Clarizen is able to integrate with other software. I don't personally do this, but other people at my company integrate it with Salesforce. This is very useful because it allows for us to have a lot of important information directly imported into Clarizen.
5) Clarizen makes it very easy to add/remove others/yourself as a resource from tasks/projects. This is very useful for tasks/projects that involve lots of people.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The main issue I have run into with Clarizen a few times is that sometimes I randomly won't get an email notification despite me being added as a resource to a task/tagged in a comment/etc. This can be a major issue if it is a timely task that I then am not aware of because I don't get an email notification about it. I rely on those email notifications to keep track of what is going on in Clarizen. To be clear though, this is a sporadic issue that happens rarely, not an ongoing or perpetual problem.

There have been some other times where I have been frustrated with an aspect of Clarizen, but in almost all cases that is not because of a problem with Clarizen's design/interface/functionality/etc but rather just my own inexperience and lack of knowledge with the platform. I have used Clarizen daily for about a year and a half now, but there is still lots of features in it that I don't use and things I don't know about. For the most part for the ways I use it, it works perfectly the vast majority of the time, so I don't have much to complain about or dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Clarizen is a great platform, and I would highly recommend it.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main benefits with Clarizen are that it makes internal communication and project management much easier than it would be otherwise. It provides a great platform for organizing tasks and projects.

  ### 8. Comprehensive Suite of Project Management Functionality

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phil D. | Enterprise Solutions Team Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen provides extreme customization capabilities throughout the platform at various levels. Tasks, Projects, Customers, Profiles, Views, User Groups etc are all built with extensive fields available to build automated routines and personalized dashboards right for various teams at our company.

And, in general, it's an extremely powerful tool when utilized correctly. We have hundreds of clients' projects live within the platform and over 100+ daily users. Our previous solutions were incredibly labor intensive for the system admins and managers to keep things organized, but Clarizen allows for lots of customization that adapts the tools to our processes rather than vice versa.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

There are two primary issues that I have with the tool.

The first is that it has a fairly steep learning curve for your average users (team members and managers alike). Even with employees that have been on systems like Jira and various project management systems in the past, we have to conduct extensive internal training to get them up to speed. That said, once they know it, they know it pretty well and it DOES help productivity.

Second, as a power user that is often in charge of compiling dashboards and reports—especially for time logs—Clarizen has a weakness of not being extensively time aware. For example, you're not going to be able to build native reports to analyze monthly utilization on a user-by-user basis. It just doesn't have the capabilities to factor in things like Workable Hours, PTO, and Holidays into reports. This alone getting fixed would solve a LOT of manual compilation issues on our end.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scalability and monthly transitions for projects are far more efficient than they ever were on previous platforms. A lot of legwork went into getting the platform ready for our teams, but once we did it has kept our specialists more organized and accountable, and our managers better enabled to spot issues with productivity, project progress, and more.

  ### 9. Great All-in-OneProject Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan C. | Project Manager, Performing Arts, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen is a great tool for managing all the facets of a project and gives great reporting and overview capabilities. Prior to using Clarizen I had to use multiple platforms and process to properly manage my projects, but now Clarizen is the one-stop-shop. I love this platform and would recommend to any of my project management peers.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

My only comment regarding Clarizen would be it is not extremely user-friendly- it takes quite a bit of training and experience to get to the point that it is helping manage the project efficiently. Once I got the feel of the system, it quickly became much easier to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Know what you need from the platform so that you can work with the Clarizen team to ensure that you fully understand how to utilize the program for the areas you need support. They are great at guiding individuals to the areas of the platform that will support their needs the best.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem Clarizen One is fixing for me is helping me manage multiple projects in a single location. It helps me manage timelines, resourcing, communication with my management team, and all-around project management items.

  ### 10. Clarizen Review 2019

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I like being able to track my projects through the comments, and the email updates help keep me on track throughout the day.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I wish there was a way to break down the dashboard by categories. When i have a lot of projects in the works it is overwhelming to have this giant list to go through first. Also sometimes the most recent comments are not at the top and for some reason.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Clarizen is a great way to track and manage projects, but truthfully get a full training for your team to utilize all tools. I feel the lack of training on how to use clarizen has made some people not like using it, but we are not truly using it to its full potential.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping projects up to date and it allows me to track what has been done and what i can refer back to if needed.

  ### 11. Good for Project Managment, organized.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel M. | Manufacturing Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Have tracking of all my projects and tasks opened. Have the history of all the projects and task that I have worked and all the other team workers. The email that is sent to the stake holders is very useful to keep them in track of everything. The reports that use the managers and the display used is nice, it gives us key performance indicators.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Do not like that tasks in the future are shown the same as the ones that are being worked (all show on track). Tasks that have not started can be in another color diferent than the ones that already exist (on track green, at risk yellow, off track red). A future task can be in "blue" to know that it is waiting for something and should wait. We normally use phases to have tracking of a task that has different stages. If we can diferenciate on track tasks and the ones that have not started this will give us more order in the company.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

It is a very good tool.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Have all history of projects and the documentation of them. To keep stake holders informed on all changes and all the progress that is being done on the project. To have key performance indicators on the company and more specifically on the area that I am working. To organize every week acording to the labor hours so managers does not give you more work than you should handle.

  ### 12. Handy Time Tracking & Hours Reporting Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

As a consultant, it’s important for me to correctly track my time spent towards each client. Clarizen makes it easy to do that by client, project, day and task. The reporting capabilities makes that information useful both internally for billing and utilization purposes but also externally for hours updates and project statuses.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

With pages of tasks to write time into it can sometimes happen where time is attributed to the wrong line. A bolder highlight of the line in question could be useful. Or more importantly, the ability to move individual time sheets from task to task to correct mistakes upon review. And allow federated authorization login users to do so using the mobile app, not just the desktop version!

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Discussions to help align the team internally on open items against a project. The different threads with action call outs/mentions have allowed us to move away from a second technology we had that accomplished this.

  ### 13. Very useful tool for capturing timelines

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I like the style of the gantt charts, the ability to capture risks, actions, issues, and decision, and the dashboards which can give reports of the status of the project very well.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I wish the road map was able to be exported to other mediums for communication. Exporting the whole timeline is useful, but key stakeholders don’t usually want detailed timelines, they want an overview of how the milestones are laid out and estimated time of completion for the project

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have made clarizen the single source of truth across the company, so it solved the problem of many people having different versions of the status of a project or program. It also provided insight on what decisions are being made at a project level, what needs to be escalated, and who the responsible parties are. Holding resources accountable to a project/program has been a tremendous benefit to our organization.

  ### 14. Very intuitive and easy to learn!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim H. | Project Manager I, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The best thing about Clarizen One is how intuitive it is to use and figure out compared to other PPM solutions we tested.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The reporting suite could certainly use some more robust functionality and options.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

As part of our PPM tool selection process, we tested out a multitude of tools, and then had in-depth pilots with our actual users and 3 different PPM tools. Clarizen One scored the highest and was definitely considered the easiest to use by our users. The configuration process was easy to go through and the support provided has been exceptional.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen One has enabled us to have consistent project health tracking and status reporting and more seamlessly collaborate on our projects.

  ### 15. Clarizen One allowed us to advance our project management capabilities.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen One allows us to roll up resource allocation which span many projects.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen One allows for many ways to perform the same action making it difficult to train new associates.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen One allows us to manage complex projects with ease and help plan resource allocation across many projects.

  ### 16. Great Way to Keep on Track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanessa S. | Social Media Strategist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Love that you are able to set deadlines and tag users when items are ready for their review or next steps. You are also able to upload images or documents that are relevant to to a project for review.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

A pain point that doesn't have anything to do with the software is when responding via email, it will upload signatures as images and be a notification that a new file was uploaded.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping our team on track. Before we were having issues streamlining our processes and getting projects to the finish line. With Clarizen, we've been able to streamline meetings and know exactly where a project stands at any point.

  ### 17. Clarizen is excellent.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew W. | Supervising Art Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

There are many things I love about Clarizen, but the main things are: it tells me when I have to do what I have to do; it tracks my time, and it gives me visibility to the entire process of a job (where a job is at, who owns what, when is my step due). It's very easy to use. It's a fantastic tool.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

There is nothing I dislike. I feel Clarizen delivers exactly what I need.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My projects stay on track and on schedule, the discussion posts allow me to communicate with all stakeholders immediately, and I have full visibility to entire projects instead of just my piece.

  ### 18. Review of Clarizen One

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I really like the ability we have to customise the platform and the ability to add add-ons/packages to the platform to improve it. For the entire enterprise to use regardless of department.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I'm not a big fan of the user interface. There are too many options and settings on a single page at any given time. This can be confusing and off-putting for users. A simpler and cleaner user interface would make it easier and more enjoyable for user to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Improve stability. This is a cost-effective platform to use,

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recording time spent on each task and project (time sheeting), recording and requesting holidays and absence, project management and reporting, the ability to create and fine-grain projects using tasks & milestones and the ability to pull and display all of the data together in one easily accessible place.

  ### 19. An effective way to track progress and keep team members in the loop.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Plastics | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I like the way team members can collaborate and communicate within the system, and also receive email alerts for their tasks. It's a really good way to keep all project documents, data, messages and the like in one spot for easy referral.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I would love the ability to organize the documentation (uploaded files) into categorized folders. Currently I have administrative forms, lab requests, trial packets, SDS's, TDS's, meeting minutes, test data, etc. It can be disorganized and difficult to quickly find the file I need.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen is a great "place" to conduct projects that can, in some cases, stretch over a year or longer. Our prior system was a cumbersome and scattered collection of spreadsheets and file folders. Having everything related to a project in one place and allowing access to everyone on the team is a cleaner, more efficient way of doing things.

  ### 20. Very helpful!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen has been instrumental in helping us manage and keep track of all the details of the projects and tasks for our Marketing department. it easily enables me, as project manager, to edit tasks and resources as needed throughout the lifetime of each project. The template feature is a huge help as our projects are very repetitive in nature.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

One issue we have in our department is the lack of ability for users to see other people's tasks in order to know how their task fits into the overall picture. This lack of visibility leads to issues with attaching documents and notes that everyone can access - it has required me, as project manager, to attach the note or document to every individual task since our users don't have access to the whole project.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen has enabled us to manage several hundred projects each year and keep track of the status of each deliverable in order to ensure our messages go out to donors on time.

  ### 21. Project Management

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen keeps all of our projects organized and on track. It is easy to see what clients need attention, who is assigned to the task, and what current status is. Clarizen allows the entire team to collaborate. It is very easy to make changes to the structure of the projects, either changing who owns the task and how many tasks there are in the project.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen periodically changes its format so the appearance is different, causing me to have to reset my viewing preferences- there are so many display settings, so it can be difficult to find what you are looking for. Additionally, it can be a little bit challenging to search for projects by typing in key words. There probably is a better way to do this that I am unfamiliar with.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Take some time getting to know Clarizen and setting it up to your liking. There are so many different display options to customize the platform for your needs. It can be a little bit overwhelming initially with all of the options, but once you find what works for you, Clarizen is extremely easy to navigate and use. As a project management software, Clarizen does that job.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Clarizen daily for project management purposes. Clarizen allows the efficient allocation of resources and the timely completion of projects. I always know what projects I have in my queue and what is coming down the pipeline.

  ### 22. Customizable but not easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I like the customization features and automation possibilities

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

There are a lot of handful of good features:
- reporting
- slide publisher
- resource utilization
 BUT
In order to have good use of these, I always need help from our TAM to find out a solution rather then having it ready in the box... as all of these features always missing something. For example, we started using slide publisher but turns out it can report resource load. Same with reporting. Started using scheduled workflow, but when setting up a condition I need help...

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Clarizen One is an all-in one tool for project management. It is highly customizable and easy to use after everything is set correctly. Professional services and TAMs are best-in class to help you.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We manage all projects with Clarizen One and its a good source of information for everybody.

  ### 23. Not fitting my expectations in terms of PM, mostly used for reporting.

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin G. | Project Manager EMEA, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Reminders, deadline and easiness to add task and assign a profile to the tast

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Not fitting my expectations in terms of PM, mostly used for reporting. Very difficult to adapt the financials to the reality of the project evolution.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

During the tailoring phase / POC make sure to involve project managers if they are to use the tool...

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tool is all over the place and not self explainatory. My team and I have to sollicitate support way too often. In taht regard I do not consider the tool to be of any support. I mostly use it for reporting and ressource booking.

  ### 24. A PPM tool that is manageable for a small organisation, and extendable for a large organisation.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julian B. | Lead PMO - Clarizen Implementation, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

This is a very configurable toolset. There is a learning curve but it is not overwhelming as are other products in the market. Creating new functions to support business processes can be very quick. Clarizen reporting has also assisted in monitoring other less transparent systems.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The speed of the vendors delivery of new functionality can run ahead of 100% reliability. There are still some functional and data gaps in the reporting modules. New release information can be minimal, with little information on resolved issues. Performance can sometimes be an issues, with delays to expected processing schedules.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have achieved our Phase 1 goals in all aspects of Project Accounting. We are now well advanced with integration of Project Management, Capacity management and budgeting. Clarizen One has enabled greater Transparency of our IT activities, with the resulting improvement of governance.

  ### 25. Experience with Clarizen

**Reviewed by:** Matheus E. | Matheus Portela, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Ease of project control, with great advantages regarding the displays. Various types of charts for visualization, easy and quick understanding, the wide range of available displays greatly aids in the control and visualization of projects.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Not very intuitive to use, it takes some time to get used to the interface, it requires a bit more intensive training to start becoming practical.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Extremely comprehensive system for all project management, easy to implement, intuitive charts, and great interface for inter-departmental relationships within the company.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Control of project schedules and deadlines are being widely resolved, as well as the sending of various files to the affected sectors.

  ### 26. Excellent tool

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The site is very easy to use day by day, and I will definitely recommend it to more people who have worked.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

At the moment I have no negative criticism, just compliments. Just a suggestion: the time being logged is very short, and I believe it could be a little longer.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

It is undoubtedly an excellent work tool, which I fully recommend to friends and other companies that I may work with in the future.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the moment I am not encountering problems on the site, I have not realized any need, I am a user for just over 3 months and I love the system use.

  ### 27. New System Admin

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Theresa S. | Enterprise Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I like that Clarizen is web-based and updated in real time. Users can quickly see when something has changed.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

In the beginning, using Clarizen One can be overwhelming. It's easy to get lost. Training should focused on what users will use 90% of the time. Then once they get the hang of it, share it all. Lots of good tricks to learn.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Focus on what you need right away then expand. This product is really great, but can be intimidating at first.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

REPORTING!!!!! We have a tendency to wait till we're close to the end of a contract year to see where we're falling in relationship to the budget. That can be very difficult to correct with only a month left in the year. Reporting in Clarizen One makes it easy to see status at anytime.

  ### 28. Real time workload views & valuable time tracking data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Becca T. | Internal Project & Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2018

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The ability to create completely custom templates and adjust as needed along the way. Also, time tracking for all of our work and tasks has given us valuable data we have never had before.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Because our projects are so granular we have a need for project level details to be visible at the task level to give users more high level details when working through their daily to do lists vs. clicking into the project. While an extra click may not seem like a lot we have 3,500 projects a year with thousands of tasks so users can be touching 50+ tasks a day. More information visible would help them be more efficient.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Clarizen is a great system to effectively manage projects and workloads.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Real time visibility into estimated work and incoming work and better project planning based on previous time tracking.

  ### 29. Great tool

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

At the moment I have no negative criticism just compliments, just a suggestion, the time being logged and very short I believe could be a little longer.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

It is undoubtedly an excellent work tool, which I totally recommend to friends and other companies who might work.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the moment I am not encountering problems on the site, I have not realized any need, I am a user for just over 3 months and I love the system use.

  ### 30. Customer Experience

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenni M. | Vice President Program Management Office, Banking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The tool can be customized to our organization's needs.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

There is no formal user guide, user documentation or training materials other than vidoes or customer questions on the success site. However, we've been told that success is not kept up to date and we cannot hold clarizen support accountable for updating or ensuring the information on there is valid.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Create a user group, user documentation, and training materials.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen can be "glitchy" - what works one time may not work the next (ex: sharing a view) and our support person cannot always find the root cause or problem.

We've been told that our questions should not be submitted to the support line but that our rep should help us. Our rep directs us to the help line. It's a customer service nightmare.

**Official Response from James Lustenader:**

> Thank you for taking the time to write a review of Clarizen; we always welcome and appreciate all feedback as it helps our organization continue to improve its service and overall experience for our customers.

We do provide a Success Site containing documentation, video tutorials and other training materials. That said, we agree that creating a discussion group and posting implementation recordings specific to your requirements during deployment is a good best practice; many of our customers have shared how this process has helped them enable more effective training on the platform when on-boarding new teams.

Our Award winning Technical Customer Support team is also available to assist in managing bugs and issues and we do encourage submitting a support ticket if the system does not perform as a customer expects, so that we may identify the root cause of the problem. Depending on the requirement and to provide optimal and tailored support, we do also direct our customers to work with their Customer Success Manager or Professional Services resource since they have greater context on each account. As always, we are happy to assist with any additional questions or concerns you and any of our other customers may have, thank you.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcelo S. | Electrical engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

We operated heavily on monthly recurring tasks that are assigned to individuals or teams. The collaborative work management solution helps employees stay on top of their tasks.Very easy to use.
It helps a lot in everyday life.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Sometimes page crashes and page refresh times make work a little difficult. Sometimes it is necessary to add the time spent on tasks two or three times. Didn't work very well with Windows Teams.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Maybe improve integration with other programs

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We operated heavily on monthly recurring tasks that are assigned to individuals or teams. The collaborative work management solution helps employees stay on top of their tasks.

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Is easy to use and it helps you a lot in your work. It also helps you better understand the process and all of its parts. In the same time, it's a very complex tool so you need time and a lot of patience. I would definitely recommend.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I have just started using this tool. I'm learning so I don't dislike anything. Maybe the complexity of the tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

It's a very complex platform so take it easy. Step by step. :)

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I just started to work in this tool. I'm learning about projects and about how you can manage them here.

  ### 33. Perfect for Inter-organizational Cooperation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

I like the social aspect, makes talking to Project Managers and other teams working on the same project much easier. The integration with Salesforce makes calculating costs a breeze and the customizability of Clarizen for different fields of work is undefeated.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Sometimes it takes a while to load pages or certain aspects of the platform will not work at times, but the support team is always quick to fix issues.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Work with support to ensure that you integrate any and all necessary softwares your particular industry uses often. Clarizen has support for an almost endless amount of software and the integration makes life easier for all teams.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 34. Global, Cross-Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen helps tie the activities that our teams need to complete. Our projects involve multiple teams and have dependencies on each previous step. By being able to add milestones to a single project, assign them to different teams, and have teams communicate through a single project, we are able to more quickly and efficiently execute projects.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Finding a specific ticket can sometimes be difficult given the interface, and especially the hundreds of tickets that we have. Part of this can certainly be made easier by improving internal naming conventions. I would also like to see more reporting features, and on a more granular basis.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're solving the problems of global, cross-team collaboration. We can communicate with each other and pass information between tickets and teams more easily.

  ### 35. Free Support from the Office Hours empowers Admin users

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie M. | Operations Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Creating simple custom fields/calculations/validation rules/workflows is quite easy to execute.Taking advantage of the Office Hours for free consulting empowered me to create more complex calculated fields and workflows. Importing data is very easy and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Time Phased reporting is quite limited for Professional Services industry requirements.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Have a good understanding of your organization's reporting requirements to ensure it can be implemented either out-of-box or customized.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

It provides for centralised project management which leads to an easy way to view the company's current projects and resource allocation.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Status reports offer a bit too much detail to send to customers.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Clarizen One offers an easy to use solution from managing projects to reporting on them. It provides a birds eye view of the organisation which allows for greater rewards from resources.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making sure that all projects follow a standardised approach. Being able to see the organisation as a whole which allows for more effective planning and corrective actions. In the current economic environment, it becomes increasingly important to mitigate issues in order to reduce costs and maximise revenue from projects, Clarizen One gives you the ability to achieve this.

  ### 37. Fluid project management tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah D. | Marketing Manager, Developer Relations , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The stages of a project are super helpful and keeps each party accountable for where we are in the process.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The variety of "due dates" can be very confusing and can make it difficult to determine when something is actually due.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Clarizen we've been able to have more meaningful discussions based on discussion thread back and forth about at what stage it actually makes the most sense for my team (social media) to start promoting an asset/event based on what's required to come before us.

  ### 38. A Key to My Organization and Accountability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I enjoy how Clarizen has such a flexible resource forecasting feature, that ultimately informs project timelines/budgets and overall capacity numbers across our team.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

This is a very small thing, but I wish that when you submit time for a project in Clarizen where you are also the time approver, it would be auto-approved rather than making you approve the time you just submitted.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Make sure you share feedback with your company's Clarizen Admin. We've seen Clarizen make improvements based on feedback, particularly pertaining to the resource forecasting algorithms and options.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're standardizing and more accurately distributing team capacity, better forecasting revenue and project risks that may come from deviating budget/timeline, and developing more consistent processes for resource requesting, milestone tracking, and more.

  ### 39. Clarizen makes managing large projects with multiple stakeholders easy

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

What I like most about Clarizen is the customization. We are able to make it work well with multiple different types of projects and layouts.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Because the platform is so detailed, I sometimes find it difficult to find conversations that occur on particular tasks instead of the overall project.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen has made managing projects with multiple stakeholders so much easier. It's great to be able to visualize your entire project, keep track of who is owning what and the progress that is being made

  ### 40. Good Project Management Software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

It helps our organization work across teams to ensure that everyone is on the same page when it comes to where a project is in its life cycle and is highly customizable to our individual business. It also allows us to track when users haven't updated project information and send out requests that they do so.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The only downside to Clarizen is that it can lag a little when updating information, you have to refresh it since it is web based, but it being web based far out weighs this downside as it allows people to update information in real time.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have solved our ability to track project life cycles which is critical to our reporting needs for our business.

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon B. | Team Lead, Sales Operations, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2018

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Comprehensive project management tool with approvals and workflows.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I'm not a project manager by trade and I'm managing often 4-5 people on a 3 month project. As such, Clarizen is really tricky to use since it's not super responsive to changes as it's calculating dependencies, etc. Since I don't have many of those, it's frustrating to use the application.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Have a unified project management software across multiple divisions that is cloud based and can roll up easily the portfolio of projects we have.

  ### 43. Clarizen is key to helping me keep my projects on track.

  ### 44. Using Clarizen as a Case Management Tool

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen has helped me and my project teams be able to manage and track different parts of our matters. It has features where we can "pool tasks" to help those who don't have bandwidth to complete particular tasks, call notes tracking, and submitting different types of tasks into the queue of other team members so we can have a more fluid workflow.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The email feature of Clarizen is sometimes very delayed and sometimes being part of multiple groups/teams means that I get a lot of emails that don't necessarily pertain to me. Also, sometimes submitting tasks to different people's queue can get spotty.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Clarizen one is a good project management tool once you get the hang of how to use its different features. However the use must be consistent across the entire team for it to be effective. One feature to look out for is the email function as it tends to be spotty, but task pooling and submitting tasks to different members on the team is a great function!

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have had a problem with bandwidth in our industry, especially with the highs and lows of client work. However, through the task-pooling feature, we've been able to allotted help to teams who need it, and also provide help if I have free bandwidth. We have also been able to put certain items in team member's queue so we can let other people in the team know when we have an upcoming due date.

  ### 45. It`s a really powerfull Portfolio and Project Management online solution.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Igor R. | IT PMO - Project Governance and Portfolio, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The flexibility to create fields, dashboards, views and workflows without need a Clarizen third party representative. The facilty to use the colaboration features, the Gantt view and slide publisher.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I don`t like:
 - Mobile App, could be more modern and user friendly.
 - It`s not possible simulate / create capacity plan scenarios. And don`t have a specific report of capacity plan.
 - The Capaciy allocation screen

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 - Lack of portfolio and projects visibility
 - Slow portfolio definition process
 - Loss of project history
 - Lack of team colaboration

  ### 46. Great tool for project management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen really helps designers to keep track of their projects and tasks to finish them in timely manner. It also makes us easier to communicate with other departments. Since it allows the users to report time on each task, the company can also have better idea how much designers would take on specific project or task in the future.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I wish Clarizen has features that directly notify project managers about deadlines or urgent requests. At times, I needed to email the project manager separately to ask questions or I did not feel comfortable leaving comments in the thread that is available for everyone to view.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Clarizen is a flexible and innovative feature for employers to need to keep on eye of their projects on a daily basis. I highly recommend for anyone who need help organizing their projects. It's both beneficial for both project managers and designers.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen helps to organize and keep track of all of my projects in the same online platform. I've realized that it's highly beneficial to project managers to communicate with anyone who's on the project and request additional assets.

  ### 47. Clarizen

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I enjoy the easy to use functionality that comes with Clarizen. It is easy to create and monitor projects. It is easily adaptable and makes internal communications very smooth and seamless. I love that Clarizen is a one stop shop. It contains everything needed from project management to scheduling all of which are very customizable.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I dislike the visuals of Clarizen currently, i feel as though it can use a overhaul. Also the user guide is not very helpful in grasping the functionality of Clarizen. i feel as though i learned more from trial and error than from the user guide. The user guide can be more informative, but is trending in the right directions.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a project management program.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen helps solve the project management aspect of my job. It is a perfect platform for internal communication tracking. management of you daily workflow, and project management.

  ### 48. Easy customisable global project management platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The free reign you have, customising the site is particularly good and also the profiles you build for members of your team - how you can make it simple and easy to use for the user, whilst giving others extra permissions. Also, the set up of automated reminders is thumbs up.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Restrictions in system built reporting and how you cannot duplicate, to manipulate, a view better suited for your needs. Also, it's slow sometimes finding the fix to bugs or issues, searching Clarizen Success isn't always easy.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Great if you are looking for a platform you can roll out globally - just be sure to follow the same processes and procedures, don't have different ideas. This makes set-up and reporting clean.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working globally on one platform, it makes life very simple, not just time tracking, but project resourcing too - utilising all capacity.

  ### 49. Almost Every a Project Manager need in one Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Executive summary reports on power point, report creation for many things, I really like the report for upcoming or past due tasks. Cost management at tasks level and the summary from roll up to Program level.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Would like to see the system processing information faster so I can be able to run a meeting using Clarizen.
I would like to see a way to keep action plan in Clarizen besides the project schedule. Integrate Risk management and open actions in the same section and be able to export to power point and excel as needed.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Clarizen is an amazing tool. It's perfect for project management in therms of project charter, cost and risk management as well as reporting. Clarizen's team are available to customize any report or solution needed to attend the customer needs.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dependencies, Gantt chart at Milestones level, Executive summary, cost management, link one project in to another.

  ### 50. Clarizen, though glitchy, helps manage project tracking

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

It is very helpful to be able to get notifications straight to e-mail. It is also super convenient that you can respond to a post with a comment through e-mail directly (by replying).

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The platform can be glitchy, resulting in tasks not submitting properly. Sometimes it will require me to enter a field that already has a value and it is very annoying to have to cancel the ticket, and resubmit.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Gets the job done, great for project management and very customizable.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project tracking is a huge help. I can go into any project and see how past tickets were submitted and handled. This keeps work consistent which is very important in this field.
