I absolutely love the customization of the kanban board features - headers, tags, colors, assignees, due dates, etc. I find the ability to move items from column to column, which are also customizable, to be a dream! As a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, it has been very rewarding for me to use the reporting feature to track the health of the assignments across the entire team. We have been able to use LeanKit's kanban board to better deliever our projects in a more effective manner instead of relying on people to recall the status of their projects. Transparency allows us to see where additional resources need to be plugged in on projects, which is helpful when prioritizing our to do lists on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. The only downside I have faced is the culture change that comes when adopting LeanKit. This is nothing that LeanKit is responsible for, but I would love some workshops on how to best roll it out to a new team. For how we use it, I wish there was a better way to show cards that are assigned to two or more people. For example, it would sort of be neat if the card would appear in both assigned individuals' lanes, but yet not be a duplicate that would need to be updated separably.
