Leankit is a poor implementation of software. It's a very basic "cards on a board" approach to project management. Might work well for a tiny project, but for large scale it's not appropriate. **What do you dislike about Planview AgilePlace?** The over design of the board columns with groupings. It doesn't help and basically makes everything management overkill. There is no way to do "portfolio" long term planning and management. When looking at a parent card that has numerous child cards, you cant even see the child card at all which is pointless. After contacting them about this, they never wrote back. Worthless customer support. **Recommendations to others considering Planview AgilePlace:** Atlassian Suite of products. Email notifications are brutal (no styling, hard to read). No concept of Client or Project. As far as a Kanban board goes, it nails all the must-haves. For the most part, navigating around a board and performing day-to-day work on cards is a smooth and unobtrusive process. **What do you dislike about Planview AgilePlace?** We miss the inability to subscribe an external email address to a column. Product updates have been slow to arrive and at times we have wondered if the product was still being improved. **What problems is Planview AgilePlace solving and how is that benefiting you?** We track all of our big-picture planning and day-to-day work on Kanban boards. I like that as soon as a task is ready to go into testing I receive an email stating that I have been assigned to a card and testing is ready to begin. If you are working with any outside vendors (outside of your org), they cannot receive notifications/tasks without a license. Also, if you are a small company, LK does not want to do business with you. Once free trial ended, data and functionality were withdrawn which inconvenienced us and made it unsuitable for our needs. Leankit has a potentially illegal attitude to refunds in the UK and slow customer service. Using the comments system allows me to communicate with different members of the team. We use the api to send information between leankit and zendesk which is very easy to use. When needed to, I've contacted support via Twitter and always got a prompt reply. **What do you dislike about Planview AgilePlace?** At times i wish there was more customisation on cards, for example when a card moves into a lane it would be good if you specify some rules about what's in the card. **What problems is Planview AgilePlace solving and how is that benefiting you?** Allows members of the team to see what's on their task list and where other people are with different tasks.
