Planview AgilePlace is a kanban-based work management software solution that helps engineering and delivery teams visualize, plan, and manage work at the team and cross-team level. It translates tasks, steps, and handoffs into boards and cards, giving anyone on the team a clear view of what is in progress, what is blocked, and where work stands at any point in the delivery cycle. AgilePlace's kanban model is methodology-agnostic. It supports Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, waterfall, and hybrid delivery equally, so teams can configure boards around their existing process rather than adopting a new one. The software scales from a single team's board to cross-team and portfolio-level views of larger initiatives, connecting day-to-day delivery work to broader objectives. I think Leankit does a good job of balancing the simplicity of a Kanban style project management board that doesn't force you to follow a complex lifecycle or require too much bootstrapping to get to work. What do you dislike about Planview AgilePlace? I think the interface relies too heavily on a visual metaphor that's not actually useful (the "card" metaphor). The ease of creating the boards with different layouts. The possibility of several people to view and to participate. Reporting features are well advanced as it allows to judge the efficiency of the process. Leankit seems to have features you would expect out of a kanban board, and it is easy to collaborate among co workers. I'd prefer if it had a slightly nicer UI, though.
