## Planview AdaptiveWork Reviews
  ### 1. One place for all PM activities. Less admin, more value.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veselina I. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen One is a great tool for reducing the administrative efforts of project managers and for allowing more time for customer interaction and bringing real value to the project. It is one dynamic IT solution for all project management related tasks such as schedule, risks, action tracker etc. throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Also, one of the big benefits is that Clarizen One is interfacing with existing back office systems such as SAP, Sales Force, Outlook etc., which means that the PM efforts are integrated into all functions of the company.
Through dashboards and reports, all internal stakeholders can have a clear 360° view of the status and health of each project.
If I don't have access to my laptop, I can easily work with the mobile version of Calrizen One on my mobile.
Overall, it is out of the box solution, but Clarizen One offers the services of tailoring the tools as per some specifics of the organisation, for example a specific PM standard that is being followed.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Overall, Calrizen One is a great software and now after I use it daily, I don’t know how we managed to work with the old ways of working (eg. Excel). However, there is maybe one downside. As a PM, I work with Engineering, Finance and Supply Chin departments and sometimes I need them to contribute to the information in Clarizen One, however, since this is not the main tool for their departments, sometimes it is hard to make them log in and use the software to its full potential.
Also, when implementing Clarizen One in an organisation, a comprehensive work on shifting the culture towards digital should be completed. There might be some people who resist of letting go their old and well known ways of working, such as using Excel and Power Point.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Clarizen One is an out of the box solution, but it is good to check with the stakeholders in your company if you need to use the services of Clarizen consultants and tailor the software further to your organisational needs, such as integration with other back office systems or compliance with specific PM standards you are using.
In the process of implementing Clarizen One in the organisation make sure that some activities for adapting the culture to digital, such as roadshows showcasing the benefits of the software, are conducted to prevent resistance of the usage of the new software. Lead a regular and hones communication with the stakeholders regarding the progress of Clarizen One implementation and the next steps.
Once you have Clarizen One make sure that you edit your project view as per your needs. You can then make this view as a default for every project.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen One definitely reduced the admin work I had. I am now able to generate an automatic project report and not spend hours creating one in Excel or Power Point. I now have one place and system where I can keep track of the project schedule along with risks, action items, non-conformance cost etc. All my internal stakeholders know that they can find the most up to date project status in Clarizen One 24/7 without even having to request it from me. All this definitely allows me to bring more time and value to my communication with the end customer. A real benefit is that once I update my project information in Clarizen One, through the interfaces with the other systems, the relevant information is updated there as well and I don't have to log in to multiple systems to enter the same data.

**Official Response from James Lustenader:**

> Thank you Veselina, for your amazingly thorough and detailed endorsement, we here at Clarizen are absolutely thrilled that you have achieved so much success with our product!

  ### 2. Clarizen One review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dorsey W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Software is very customizable. Service is really good - quick and responsive. It stuns me sometimes how quickly the support team responds, even to lower priority requests for assistance. Our implementation consultant, Matt Gathercole, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, flexible and easy to work with. Improvements to software occur regularly. Clarizen offers free webinars and support to continue learning how to best use the software. Support site is pretty good for providing assistance. Communication with customers is very good.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

There are some elements of the software that could be improved. For example, the customer portal needs greater functionality. Cases are not automatically associated with projects. Some tasks are tedious and take several steps. License types limit access to the project plan and direct access to reports. While you can share read only links to this information, it still seems like an unnecessary limitation.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

From a business perspective, I highly recommend Clarizen. They have been great to work with and are very responsive. The software is solid and meets our needs as a professional services organization.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing projects is more consistent. We eliminated several tools by going to Clarizen One.

  ### 3. Great Project Management and support system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I like that everyone can utilize Clarizen, not just the project manager. And I like to be able to create the reports and dashboards right within Clarizen.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I would like a better integration with Jira, so we are pursuing that.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are utilizing Clarizen for capacity management. Already people are seeing that they have to support their FTE requests with the actual data.

  ### 4. ClarizenOne is an amazing product along with the support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Tool and the assistance given by the support team

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

There is nothing that I dislike about ClarizenOne

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

One of the best and user friendly.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps in reporting, managing the requests and suppliers

  ### 5. One stop solution for project management, portfolio management, and workflow automation.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lalit K. | Quality Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I have been using Clarizen for almost 2 years for workflow automation and project management of my company. This software is enriched with features that you need for project management as well as portfolio management. Clarizen can take care of all your project management needs. Also, I liked the user experience which is very simple and the navigation is also very smooth. This software is paid, you get two options to choose from. I recommend using the unlimited plan as you will be getting unlimited storage with it.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen is a reliable tool but is quite expensive compared to other project management tools available in the market.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

The journey of using Clarizen software is really really great and supportive. I love to recommend it to others.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main perk of Clarizen is that it allows you to customize your account as per your need. The best amazing part about this software is you get a complimentary 30-days free trial before you buy this product for your organization. You can also create and customize new templates as per your need for your project if you didn’t like the pre-designed templates. If you are new to this tool, do not worry, Clarizen offers training that will help you to understand things better. You can also manage and discuss your timesheets, expense sheets with this tool. If you need to communicate with your colleague but the conversation isn’t that important to be documented, you can do that with the help of a chap app.

  ### 6. VERY GOOD TOOL FOR PLANNING PROJECTS AND ORGANIZING

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isabella R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

It helps you plan, organize for a project and delegate the tasks that has to be done. Additionally, it helps you organizing the timing and deadlines for the project, to see how has been the advanced or developing.
It notifies you through your email when you have been assigned to a task, this helps you to remind the task.
Clarizen connects different teams from the same organization and you are able to see in what they are working on.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The app has many tools and most of them are not intuitive to use, unless you watch the training video.
Training video takes a long time to explain things, it can be explain faster and easily.
It could be a good idea that for every button or tool the app has, every time the mouse stands in it, can explain in a small paragraph how can this be used.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planning a project, delegating people with responsibilities, planning deadlines and you can do follow up of the stage of the project. It notifies someone from the team when they have something in charge.

  ### 7. Can do almost what ever you want, but can take a while to get fine-tuned

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach B. | Director of Systems, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen can do just about anything when it comes to project management. There are some limitations, but they are few and far between.

We have really enjoyed the Discussions feature. It's been very helpful for our Project Managers to be able to communicate to their teams within the tool.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The problem is that sometimes it's so flexible, so customizable, there can be a pretty serious learning curve. For example, we often run into issues with clients wanting automated reports, and we can't deliver exactly what they are looking for. We know the tool has the information, it just isn't terribly intuitive how to get it out. We didn't pay for support upgrades so there was a lot of trial and error.

In addition to that, the user interface is a little outdated.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

It would be very helpful to have a member of your team who can be a trained Clarizen Admin. Once you start using it there will be 20 things you want to tweak that you didn't think of before. It will be tempting to just have one of your project managers be the admin on the side. If you do this you run the risk of having a major bottleneck in your process. I would suggest either spending the money on an admin, or be prepared to spend ongoing money to have Clarizen do it for you.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team required a project management tool with time tracking and inter-office communication. We needed Gantt charts, milestone billing, contractor invoicing, and workload balancing. We needed custom reporting, client views, permissions management, and non-labor resources.

Clarizen offers all of these things and does them well.

  ### 8. Highly configurable PPM toolset

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Incredibly configurable PPM toolset, with options to customise the way things work, and look to the end user. Very comprehensive set of reporting options directly within the tool. Simple, configurable user interface, and great integration to Powerpoint for external reporting/emailing status reporting etc. API integration is excellent. Layouts for different types of projects is completely configurable, so you can keep the current view of the user simple while allowing them to expand the "more info" to see the full data on the project when it is required.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Sometimes the backlog on the support site is out of date, and feature requests aren't visible on a customer roadmap. I would like to see an upcoming roadmap, and items that have had "Feature Requests" stack ranked on a Product Backlog. It would be great to know what is coming not only in the next minor/major - but the next after that for planning purposes.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

If you want a configurable, and reliable PPM tool then this is a solid choice. It would be best if you have someone with a high level of technical capability to help configure the product if you want changes from the OOB product. Most change is configured via a "formula" language, and layouts of pages is a simple drag and drop process. But the more you wish to configure, the more technical it becomes. The Clarizen local support and consulting team are also excellent at configuring the tool to do what you need, so I'd definitely recommend engaging them when you setup the tool and for training also.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have implemented Clarizen One for management of a Technology Portfolio, with integrated financials at the project level. We have integrated into the tool via Clarizen API which is comprehensive and simple to use. We manage active projects, and the pipeline of work and the validation of individual items. We have reporting, and external client/sponsor status reporting. We also produce several artifacts (Project Charter/Invoicing) from the product via customisations. We also have custom landing pages that direct the user to useful locations/views and any external links within the company.

  ### 9. Most Adaptable PPM tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sheetal B. | Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

It's almost No code platform ,no technical background required to work on Development activities .You can develop complex reports with just drag and drop feature.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Limits on number of custom objects ,custom fields is something that they need to look upon.

There is certain lag on Roll up fields

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Agility ,flexibility this tool offers, I haven't seen this in any other PPM tool so far

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track on health of all projects ,Risk& Issue management ,getting VOC from customers within tool

  ### 10. Great one-stop-shop product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The functionality to add gate information

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The workplan and lag that is sometimes there

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pulling gate documents automatically and housing information in one spot versus pulling from various locations

  ### 11. Clarizen supporting project deployments efficiently

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

High-level project deliverable view
Customizable programs and reports

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Application slowness
Aesthetic features
-

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

None

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transformation Program execution

  ### 12. Very good tool to manage the project and easy to keep track.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manju D. | Systems Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Making use of Custom actions and Workflows becomes intresting and useful.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Nothing to be disliked about Clarizen. Understanding tool may take time

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

The experience with Clarizen has been satisfactory. It has good resource.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I maintain the project data

  ### 13. Clarizen is a full featured PSA solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Our organization has used several PSA solutions and had outgrown the last program we were using. We went a RFP process and reviewed about a dozen solutions. I invited my team of PM's to evaluate the solutions and there are a number of impressive solutions on the market today. The main reason we selected Clarizen is that the vote from the team was unanimous, everyone selected Clarizen as their number one choice. There was a tie for second and third choice which was split 50/50.

A big selling feature was the fact that we could add custom fields, workflows, business rules and custom reports. The solution we left only had limited custom fields and we required more. Resourcing is great and allows us to efficiently manage schedules and see availability of resources. The customer portal was a big benefit as collaboration with our customers was a key requirement.

We have been using the system for just over a year and continue to expand our usage of the system.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I was a bit disappointed with the utilization reports. We struggled placeholder resources skewing our teams numbers and the target utilization did not seem to work as we would have expected. Unfortunately this caused us to not leverage Clarizen for that information instead we dump data and import it into our BI tool. Another big disappointment was a feature called Actions, we had high hopes for using Actions however you could not tie Actions to a project and this was not clear during the sales process. Actions are useful and generic to do lists for individuals so we still use them but were unable to use them to track the lowest level of the WBS that you did not want to assign time to a task. Overall none of these are show stoppers. The solution is a bit pricey, the team member licenses are fairly limited, to grant more access you have to go to a full license.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having the ability to manage our customers, projects and resources in one solution has helped to streamline our processes. We could not live without the resourcing capabilities, we have a large team and it would be impossible to manage schedules without a PSA solution.

**Official Response from James Lustenader:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We here at Clarizen are thrilled that you are enjoying our product. Though we're sorry to hear that our utilization reports and Actions functionality aren't living up to your expectations. Please do consider reaching out to us to discuss how we might be able to fix that. james.lustenader@clarizen.com

  ### 14. CLARIZEN Usage and customer support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen is a top end SAAS project and portfolio management software which gets work done. Easy to configure and customize to fit business use.
I like the reports and dashboard which provide a holistic view of project and life cycle.
Tool offers inbuild collaboration and integration with Active Directory which we use for auto user provisioning. Other integrations we use is with Salesforce to create projects and sync financial data.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The product has limitation with custom fields and they cost when exhausted. The CSM are not technical , at least that's the expectation i heard from them.
It would be good to get first hand solution instead of speaking to Professional service which cost $$$.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create portfolio and projects based per business units, simplify reporting via custom reports and dashboard. The tool allows PMs to track project risks, issues and milestones.

Allocate tasks to resources and track their progress against timelines.

Tool provided a one solution to manage portfolio and projects and have management track progress and take decisions Realtime instead of traditional method of using MS Projects and excel sheets which was cumbersome and prone to error.

  ### 15. Great features, has learning curve and slow UI.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Resource availability, task allocation, timesheets, project management and financial info all at one place.
And highly configurable.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Slow UI, Difficult to navigate
Slow Support response

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resource planning and professional services project managment.

  ### 16. Clarizen is a solid tool for Project/Program Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen is easy to use and nests projects, programs, and portfolios together in a manner that makes it easy to view high level portfolio data and then drill down into extremely low level tasks within a specific project. The views are fully customizable and allow the user to create custom views that can be easily accessed and shared. Clarizen also allows us to create customized reports that are easily exportable and sharable which has proven to be a helpful tool in communicating status updates to management/executives.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Our Jira integration is somewhat manual but that is partly due to our internal Jira configuration.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen One serves as our PPM tool to track in flight projects and portfolios. It provides us with both high level and low level details. The Jira integration is very helpful because it allows data to flow from one system into the other and minimizes re-work.

  ### 17. Comments from a PM User and Clarizen Configuration Admin

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Broad configuration capabilities. It allows the software to be customized for different users or uses. This is very helpful in a large organization were different divisions may have their own structures that cant be easily standardized across the company. Using the slide publisher saves our teams time and standardizes what data is being delivered. Having the separate work type modules also helps in managing what is do and when and to what level of granularity. The project module is great for the high level, the milestone is great for what is currently in flight and/or is coming up, and the task is perfect for day to day task management.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Once you start to get into more complex configuration, features documentation becomes less available. The esthetics of exported or email delivered Reports and Dashboards is lacking. There isn't a good way to give non-licensed users access to multiple projects or reports in a centralized way. You'll need to provide links to each individually. If integration structure with Jira is very restrictive so ensure ensure they are compatible making the investments.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

When considering Clarizen, assess integration capabilities and their data structure compatibility. Really think about how much customization you'll need as you can use up the lower tier limits fairly quickly. Evaluate what each license type does and how many you'll need to get the most value out of their cost. If you don't already have an established project/program structure/methodologies Clarizen might be a great way to apply standardization and structure.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Two great things about using Clarizen is that it has become a vessel to reinforce certain standardization and best practices across the organization. Secondly, because it has centralized project data into environment, senior management can see the health of their portfolios all the way to the company's entire portfolio as a hold.

  ### 18. My Work Life is now organised

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Graeme M. | WFM Consultant/Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Seeing all of my projects in one place, the progress, owners and collabortation that this can drive whilst working in an international team.
The ability to share my plan with customers and control and limit what they can see in this view. Ability to export plan to MSP is good for traditional project managers.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Sometimes things can get a little bit too detailed, however this is mainly due to our usage of the product rather than a product fault itself.
It can take a little bit of adapting from MSP if your used to working that way as its another system to learn.
The timelines are a little bit compressed when you have lots of activities. Perhaps the bars could be thicker as well?

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organising an international workforce to deliver a software product to hundreds of customers and unique projects.

  ### 19. Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Easy to navigate and use User Interface. When I did have an issue it was easy to resolve the problem.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Nothing to add here that I did not like. I had a pleasant experience when I needed support.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for reporting work hours and for scoping purposes.

  ### 20. Very customisable project management solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen is an excellent project management tool, fully customisable with good integration capabilities. Reports are quickly and efficiently produced, with dashboards for fast overviews of the entire program. We have been able to create a solution to suit our unique business needs.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

It can sometimes be challenging to determine backend dependencies. It doesn't suit more complex financials with in-kind contributions, but there are always workarounds.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are running a multi-organisation program managing multiple projects. Clarizen allows our staff to collaborate efficiently in a user-friendly environment while enabling quick and easy reporting.

  ### 21. Clarizen One

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Information Technology Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The most I like that you can move all your project documentation and schedule into one place in the cloud.
Also, I love how easy it is to share your progress and reports via widgets.
Last but not least is really great support from the Clarizen team, during the implementation and post-implementation period.

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I like that it does EVERYTHING. It replaces time keeping, and Microsoft project.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I don't like the name. Clarizen. It sounds like an STD or a drug for someone with an STD. I know it's hard to think of a name, but if you can't change it, you should add some more character or marketing to explain the name. It sounds so emotionless.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen doesn't solve any problems directly, however it uncovers problems in my organization and project that would have gone unnoticed otherwise. For example, resourcing. Do we have enough? How much is enough? If Clarizen says NO, that's a problem.

  ### 28. Network Engineering Project Manager

I like how easy it is to build an initial project plan.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I don't like briefing from clarizen. The colors are too soft, and if you are looking at a large project or program, you cant see blockers and wins easily. Blocked items are the hardest to show... right now I have to pick between paused and requested, neither of which actually solve my need to show blocked tasks/milestones.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

It great for managing and building detailed project plans.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Love the quick, efficient and helpful customer support they provide.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I wish they would get the feature to allow "editing" the Discussions. My only pain point with Clarizen, because I use this feature so much and to err is human! So only if they would allow to "edit" it.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

I like Clarizen and have been using it as a Project Management tool for over 3 years now. One of the best things about Clarizen is their quick customer support. Not that I need to reach out to them every now and then (the occasion is rare) but whenever I do its been quick, efficient and helpful. As a buyer, when I go out in the market to buy any product, what's most important for me is to know how the after sales service is. So if you are a buyer who shares my view then look no further; this is the tool you want to go purchase. Having used other Project Management tools in the past (I wont name them) I highly recommend Clarizen for it.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project Management, Stakeholders communication all in one place and Forecasting

  ### 32. Great tool to make your job easier and effective.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen works well in completing the project or task on time. Since the clarizen notify our task through email, we can figure out what the due date is for each specific task and can manage all the task easily. So it can therefore be considered as an advanced cloud based software for project management. Other peculiar features that I loved are End-to-End Project Dashboard, customizable and friendly interface and can access information easily. When talking about the interface, it is so easy and friendly to handle and work on it. We can easily communicate or share our queries, concerns to our peers or seniors through chat. Clarizen also generate accurate report about our tasks make our project more effective and efficient with better results.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

When talking about few downsides, sometimes the pages seem to run too slowly and waste our time. While looking for some previously completed projects, the data seem to be lost because the filters are turned on automatically. So I always supposed to clear all the filters before searching for anything. Clarizen will be a best tool for task or project managing if the given downsides will be cleared.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing notifications to track the development can ensure it as a successful approach to a coordinated project. Clarizen help us to complete the work on time and make the best use of it. So it will help us to increase our utilization and gradually the quality of project. Also the Data import/export to MS projects helped me to analyze the task and workflow and to find the utilization in each month.

  ### 33. Intuitive, strategic work management software with adaptive features.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rakesh B. | Technical Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen provides users with a comprehensive work management system, which is pretty valuable and useful. Initial installation and setup of the software are very easy, which adds up to its list of pros. Also, easy navigation helps to get a grip over the software even new users can use it with ease. Being a SAAS tool, project management has been made easier. The user interface of the software is quite intuitive as well. Social collaboration tool has been proved to be one of the best features of the software.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

It can be made much responsive. Even though the design of the software is very eye-catching, the same cannot be said about the working speed. The functionality of the product can be a lot of improvised.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Clarizen One is the best intuitive software that is really recommended to use. I have been a regular user of it.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen is a good looking, easy-to-use product, but a lot has been amiss. It is not necessarily speedy, which is a noticeable flaw in the product. Implementation of the software can also be made easier. However, customization options make it easier for us to modify it to meet all the requirements of the organization. It is a scalable product, which makes it ideal because up-gradation can be done as one pleases and as one progresses.
Few setbacks need to be fixed, apart from that it is a useful tool for sure.

**Official Response from James Lustenader:**

> Thank you for the product review Rakesh, We're so glad to hear your setup was easy and your users are enjoying it. Thank you as well for the feedback about responsiveness of our solution I have passed this onward to our product development team for their benefit.

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Realistic estimation of target dates for tasks based on available resources. Ability to create flexible dependancies for tasks.

It is not straight forward on how to change due dates to reflect changing priorities and project objectives, the user must try different approaches on a trial and error basis.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Clarizen to track project progress for the group of seven technical professionals that I lead as well as tracking collaboration within the other technical groups and our marketing and manufacturing departments. The benefits include easy to use status indicators and the ability to view projects in other departments in which I am a stake holder.

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2020

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen is an effective project management tool with multiple solutions made available to users. The methodology used by the Clarizen software is commendable. Starting a project before drawing out the entire plan and then switching back to draft to re-plan specific parts gives us complete liberty to make inputs at any point of time. The flexibility of the software is another notable functionality. It is a centralized platform to create and store content, alongside making collaborations easier. The user interface of the platform is extremely clean, finding important features and tools is not a cumbersome job.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The in-app reporting tools seem to be lacking for most of the parts. Even though the develops are constantly trying to remove this bug, it cannot be said that it has gone completely. Integration with other applications are allowed, however, the list of applications is quite limited. Sometimes it gets difficult for project managers to get access to employees' dashboard.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

We found that Clarizen met our needs very well. I like the product support and ease of use of the tool

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen surely is a value for money product. It is ideal for any organization regardless of the size of the organization. The software is easily accessible from any device with a stable internet connection. Easy access makes it more user-friendly for sure.
