## Planview AdaptiveWork Reviews
  ### 1. Director of Construction & PMO

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timothy G. | Senior Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I love the dashboards in Planview AdaptiveWork as they enhance visibility. The live reports add a lot of value too. Our organization loves using it and I found the initial setup to be seamless.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The dashboards in Planview AdaptiveWork only limit 10 projects at a time. It would be better if it could open the dashboard to where the report is located to show all projects.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Planview AdaptiveWork for visibility in tracking project progress and financials.

  ### 2. Flexibility and Depth, but Challenges in Configuration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Iker R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I like the flexibility and programmability of Planview AdaptiveWork. I also appreciate the number and depth of the modules it offers.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I would like you to try to reconfigure yourself for Agile when necessary. The initial setup was difficult due to the inexperience of the implementing partner.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Planview AdaptiveWork to replace MS Project and control activities, OKRs, and operational projects in a large institution, offering advanced monitoring and adaptability to diverse information needs.

  ### 3. Easy Template Creation from Existing Templates

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** michelle K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The ability to create templates from other templates very easily.
Allowing users to only see what they need to see to complete their tasks

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

That it all depends on the license type as to what users can see in reports, even when trying to get just read only

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Every user gets their tasks when they are available and not able to complete before ready
Easy to make customization to work for us

  ### 4. Great Visibility and Customization, But Work Plan Scheduling Feels Slow and Unintuitive

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dianna D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Visibility across teams and customization options.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Using the Work Plan to build schedules is slow. Adding multiple related items is also slow. The system is not very intuitive.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to see and manage everything about a project in one place (schedule, issues, risks, action items, etc). We like not having to go to spreadsheets or a SharePoint site to search for information.

  ### 5. Highly Configurable Planview AdaptiveWork for Tailored Business Rules and Automation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Planview AdaptiveWork is highly configurable. The ability to create business rules tailored to my company’s specific ways of working opens up more opportunities for automation and helps align the tool with how we actually operate.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

In certain cases, some out-of-the-box features we would like to use can’t be configured to meet our exact needs. However, in most situations, we’re able to find a workaround that accomplishes the same goal.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to create very specific business rules and automation helps streamline workflow dependencies and makes day-to-day processes run more smoothly.

  ### 6. Efficient Project and Financial Management, but Restrictive Reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen M. | Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I like the work plan and financial planning features of Planview AdaptiveWork because they keep our projects on task and budget.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Reporting is a little restrictive at times.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Planview AdaptiveWork for project management, keeping our projects on task and budget.

  ### 7. Helped Our PMO Organize Projects and Move Beyond Access Databases

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

It has helped our PMO organize projects and get away from Access databases

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Sometimes the service does not respond to tickets timely

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps set standards for our PMO, allows for senior leadership dashboards outside of spreadsheets

  ### 8. Lack of out of the box basic functionality.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The tool is very customizable, and most people with little coding experience will be able to build custom workflows and processes. The views are easily changed with no coding needed, and the hybrid Jira board views are excellent for scum-style projects.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Almost nothing works well out of the box; many processes are completed outside of the tool and then entered into the tool. The support for the product is lacking; with Clarizen being bought by Plainview, there are different growing pains.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Works great for overviews of projects at a high-level.

  ### 9. Why we changed from Clarizen (Planview Adaptive Work) to Smartsheet

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karina Celli C. | Head of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I really like the dashboards and the system to register the hours spent in tasks, inside each project.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The problem with Clarizen (Planview AdaptiveWork) is the price, and it is also not so easy to configure. There is not much material to learn how to use Clarizen, so we had to learn by ourselves.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The system to register the hours spent on tasks inside each project really helps us control project prices.

  ### 10. Planview flexibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim H. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

It is very customizable and able to fit your individual needs

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

You have to understand what it is you need and want, which is much harder than it sounds. Very iterative process. It is a complex beast, you really need someone to be an expert in it.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hopefully it will smooth out our peaks and valleys and enable us to have a good idea of when we need to hire staff as opposed to working through a temporary spike.

  ### 11. Intuitive and great for project managing!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The ability to communicate within a project and review archived conversations.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The way it was originally setup for the company I work for needs an overhaul which is expensive and time consuming.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Daily project, task and time management is the greatest benefit. It is all in one place for everyone to see and use.

  ### 12. Incredible tool for managing all your projects

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mukul M. | Web Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Available with plenty of unique and rich features for creating and managing your projects. Keeping track on all your ongoing projects through this software. It can be used for multiple organizational tasks for creating and managing various project portfolios. It is one of the most configured tools as compared all the other SAAS tools.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Not able to lock the view of the onscreen project. Sometimes, the reporting of your ongoing projects is not up to mark.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using it in my organization to manage all the projects and create reports for more accessible explanation to the clients.

  ### 13. Clarizen One user since 2016

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paulo M. | Program Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I really enjoy that Clarizen One is very customizable. Another great benefit is that our Customer Success Manager, Andrzej Lechowicz, is phenomenal and always attentive no matter how busy he is. Dashboards and reports are pretty easy to create especially if you are someone in IT.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

One of the disadvantages at this time of the product is that it is not very friendly for the agile methodology. In order to get it to report out in a way to eliminate double-entry in other systems such as Azure DevOps or Jira, you need 3rd party integrations. We are working through figuring out how to best continue to utilize Clarizen One instead of a new product. We've invested a lot in Clarizen and prefer to stay with their solutions.

It is also resource intensive if your project plans are detailed. It can lock up or slow to a crawl. I believe Clarizen is working on this.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

It is a great product. Once it is more adapted to agile, it will be an even better product.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For waterfall projects, we are able to generate project/program cost reports, resource utilization/capacity reports, and create dashboards for our teams and senior leadership.

  ### 14. Clarizen is a great project management tool very rich in features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bobby V. | Systems Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen is a great project management tool with plenty of useful features. It takes a little to of getting used to but it makes tracking projects and tasks very easy after that.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

There's not much to dislike about Clarizen. The initial learning curve of using the tool is quite steep as it's packed with features but it's all worth it after wrapping your head around it.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Clarizen for managing projects and assigning tasks to different engineers internally. Tracking progress on tasks and providing regular updates in the system is making life easier for project managers and engineers.

  ### 15. Best Project Management Tool and the best support team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Althia C. | Team Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The tool as well as their support. After being with Clarizen I have learnt to what extent can Customer Support can raise the bar of the tool

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Nothing so far, the support team did not leave any such experience

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

If you are looking for a Project management tool with great Customer Support . You need to go for Clarizen

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing different projects
Reporting
Capacity planning

  ### 16. Clarizen insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyrone G. | Project Coordinator and Innovative Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

This software's ability to handle the processing of resource time allocations and rate management is impressive. The reporting feature is handy, and once the data schema is fully understood, you can generate valuable reports.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

This sofware is not as user friendly as one would like when it comes to the creation of business processes. This feature could be improved upon by enhancing it with it's own business process development module. Customizations are availabile, but you must be very well versed in the data structure in order to master the functionality required in order to generate automated processes. You have to purchase Professional Services expertise in order to get the support you will need.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The software provides a very accurate accounting of your projects, providing sound accounting for every aspect of the project's expenditures. You can generate business intelligence reports and dashboards, giving you real-time, up-to-date information.

  ### 17. Brilliant and Sophisticated PPM Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James H. | Project Manager (Facility & Capital Construction), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Ever since I started using Planview Clarizen, it has been seamless to manage and track progress of projects.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

They have excellent success team which respond rapidly whenever there is a issue.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Task creation and project issuing.

Tracking bug, time and expense on projects.

  ### 18. Very good SaaS, but pay attention to details

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The completeness of the SaaS. It is a very complete solution for multiple kinds of project and portfolio management business areas.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The complexity of the SaaS. It is so complete that sometimes it is very complex. Also, I don't like the scheduling of the system, it's only a basic scheduling function.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

It is a very complete system for PPM, definitely worth taking a shot. But be very careful of your low level requirements, do not take assumptions on whether a system already does what you need. We like Clarizen, but there are some areas that we assumed it would behave like a standard project scheduling tool but it is not doing it.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving tracking of projects and portfolios at worldwide level, managing standardization across business regions.

  ### 19. Best PM tool for users. But config/API are ok for admin/dev.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** vamshi r. | Project Associate(.Net, Azure), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen is a great tool to project managers and they can do day-to-day tasks project planning, resources allocations, budget management quickly. Our Users adapted the tool very quickly and they like it. Clarizen is extremely user-friendly and I had a very good experience with Clarizen. The product is very flexible. It's a lightweight tool that can manage a lot aspects of project management.
Using CSS, HTML to customize some of its UI is great, even it can be used to customize CSS based on permissions and migration from MS projects works well. The resource management and time sheets are the best addons.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

As a software developer with 2 years of Clarizen support/admin experience, I can say, API can be used to read/write most of the Clarizen data, but it cannot be used in provisioning custom action, workflows, etc. Clarizen data model/ config/ workflows are not as matured as MS office 365, salesforce workflows, actions, etc, and have few limitations. Not ideal for massive organizations, but it can do the job.
A lot of reports cannot be downloaded as PPT and even downloading projects, reports, etc as spreadsheets also slow and load time for the reports is very high Moving the config between environments is not so smooth.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Great if you are not planning to heavily customize it.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen can be used not only for project management but also as timesheets which are very helpful. Dev costs can be minimized.

  ### 20. Clarizen One - Everything You Need for Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Regardless of the size or type of project, with internal or external resources, Clarizen One meets our business needs and project implementation through a user-friendly, customizable platform. The tool has mobile accessibility for project team members to make updates and view dashboards on the go. Clarizen is also integrable with many applications and continually enhances the platforms to catapult the user experience to new levels. Reporting and dashboard options are endless. The customer service and support are beyond amazing!

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Limitations in Slide Publisher but enhancements are coming.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Most of us are comfortable with managing projects and tasks in our traditional way and are change adverse. Give Clarizen One a try, keep an open mind, embrace change; you will love it and be pleased with the results!

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen One has helped manage one of the major divisions of the organization, has given us a robust reporting system on our automotive projects, and help project teams manage their workload. Other divisions have seen the benefit and are now interested in adopting the tool to manage their projects.

  ### 21. Crucial tool working with our investments related projects.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie P. | Global Principal Investments, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I am impressed by the versatility and comprehensive nature of custom fields. These fields provide all the necessary data to the project manager. Moreover, the reports are excellent. Their interactive nature enables me to quickly obtain the data I need, particularly when I combine the contents of a table with those of a graph on one page. It is also helpful to note the presence of a risk management module, available "ready-to-use," but can be configured to be a powerful tool for managing the risks associated with Clarizen projects.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The tool may at first glance appear complex, particularly for those accustomed to working with more straightforward tools. Even so, if you grasp how it functions and how the various components interrelate, it becomes relatively straightforward.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

My recommendation would be Clarizen if you are interested in managing projects and portfolios with great detail and completeness. Although it is pre-loaded with extensive features, some adjustments are required to enhance the UX.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen is my tool for managing portfolios, projects, and investments risks associated with them. Keeping track of my work requires me to consult a variety of reports. In addition, I use Clarizen Timesheet to keep track of all the activities associated with the various projects that I am connected with. Finally, in collaboration with the team, we analyze the amount of time we spend on each project, the workload we have, and its influence on the cost.

  ### 22. Excellent Portfolio/Project Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priscila F. | Project Portfolio Management Senior Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I like the flexibility and completeness of the custom fields very much. These fields allow the project manager to have all the data he needs.
I also enjoy the reports. They are very interactive, and I can get the information I need very fast, especially when we use a table with all the content seen on the graph on the same page.
Another strong point is the risks module, which is "ready to use" but, with some customization, it can be a very powerful tool to manage risks of the projects inside Clarizen (at project, program and portfolio level).

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

It may not be a very intuitive tool at first glance, especially for people who are used to work with more simple tools. However, once you understand how it works and how the different modules relate to each other it gets pretty easy.
Another thing that I did not like very much at the beginning was that it is not possible to see the summary of the tasks at the project level, it is necessary to go to the project details in order to see them. In any case, it is not a problem, I already got used to it.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

If you are looking for a tool to manage projects, portfolio with a high level of detail and completeness, I absolutely recommend Clarizen. It already comes with a lot of features by default, but some configuration is needed in order to increase the user experience. That being said, I believeo it is important to have some support when starting to use it.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Clarizen I am managing projects, portfolios and the risks related to them. I use different reports to keep track of the projects (due dates, budget, costs and revenue.
I also use Clarizen Timesheet in order to keep track of all my activities in the different projects that I am involved in. Together with the team we analyse how much time we have spent in each project, how our workload is, and the impacts on the project's costs.
Thanks to Clarizen it is possible to have a complete overview of the portfolio and keep track of the teams activity. Moreover, it is possible to take necessary actions to avoid potential problems in the project.

  ### 23. Clarizen provided an efficient and productive environment for our projects!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditi N. | Manager - Academic Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen may be the most configurable tool among the PPM SaaS tools, especially in the UI. One of the key strengths of the software is the ability to support unprecedented processes by offering custom fields and workflows. In addition, the software provides unprecedented levels of training and support. The Clarizen staff is actively involved in helping both administrators and end-users utilize the solution in an easy-to-use and highly accessible manner. According to my, Clarizen is very attractive because it seems to satisfy the enterprise requirements for PMOs.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Despite the fantastic mobile app, it is only available to Apple users and not to Android ones, so it has no value for us (the old Android app, which is not as valuable as the new app),

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

There is a lot of customization in Clarizen. Still, there are several things that users can configure via the configuration/customization settings that are otherwise not available out-of-the-box.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have noticed a significant increase in the visibility of projects throughout our organization due to the Clarizen tool. Still, it has enabled us to provide our customers with better, more harmonious visibility into the project. Additionally, the ability to manage projects across the teams in one location has proved to be a significant productivity improvement.

  ### 24. Useful for Product Development

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wallace K. | Group Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Variety of timeline visualization methods

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Cumbersome methods to adjust project timelines

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to plan subtask timelines and gauge the effect on total project completion dates

  ### 25. Clarizen Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Reporting capabilities are great and have allowed us to have more catered reports, and the use of tabs has been a great addition.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The success site can sometimes be out of date and the information a little hard to digest. I wish there were ways to report on user groups without it pulling in individual names of people, but instead reference the group and it's users, and update over time as new resources are entered into that group.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Make sure you have a dedicated team or person to administer the product

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better reporting and more detailed project plans. By having Clarizen, it has showcased our own inefficiencies and has helped us bring to light areas for process improvement.

  ### 26. Excellent Project Tracking System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesus F. | Controls Design Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen One provides an easy way to keep track of your projects, priorities and keep informed of your stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

All the task properties are not visible and accessible. You'll need to go and search them manually, despite everything is there. I have to mention you can't just copy and paste a project, you'll always need to start with a brand new template for an identicall project. We'll be a nice feature to add. When you send an email from the platform you are not able to paste images directly, you have to attach the picture.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

It is a great Project management system. My initial recommendation is to take time to understand the system, look into it and learn about how the information flows, how to use the email notification, and how to use predecessors' tasks.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can keep the communication flowing. You are to assign tasks quickly and have a clear panorama of the overall project. he possibility to create recurring task is amazing, In addition you can use project templates that simplify the creation fo a new one.
Using this PTS yor are able to access to multiples view modes, you can access to gantt or calendar views. You are able to see the workload of your team and organize your resources easily. You can integrate your company contact list with your resources list, so when you send an email you'll get the same contact list form outlook.

  ### 27. Best tool for external collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

customizable features that let us create our own views

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Unable to lock a particular custom view for a given project. I've created multiple projects having same custom columns, and changing the view on one of the project is also changing the view on another one, but i wanted to have different views with different combination of columns in each views.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) QA progress tracking
2) Bug tracking and reporting

  ### 28. New user to Clarizen

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

You can customize your views to be detailed or not. Somewhat easy to navigate (there are a few areas that are difficult to find).

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Seems to be slow and "buggy" at times, such as not saving my changes or moving to a prior week even though I didn't choose to go back a week.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy for reporting time metrics to upper management and keeping track of time needed to complete projects.

  ### 29. Minimize Project Complexity – Maximize Functionality with Clarizen

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad E. | Business Solutions Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Usabiilty and ease of learning. Clarizen has a short learning curve - something everyone wants.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Price. Can be high for some entry organizations but try it and see if it fits your needs.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Try it - it will likely fit your needs well and scale with your organization.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficient PM oversight.

  ### 30. Clarizen has been a great tool for our organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick D. | QA Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen is very customizable and is always working on new and innovative features.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

One downside of Clarizene is that sometimes reporting can be limited with what fields you can report on in certain curcumstances.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to be much more stuctured and have a firm grasp on the history of projects. Also, we are delighted the ability to have a detailed report on this is a great benefit.

  ### 31. "Amazing Project Management System"

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashu G. | Software Development Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I enjoy how adaptable and adjustable this program is and how much we've used it to handle projects in an orderly and effective manner inside our company. Its user interface is intuitive and straightforward; it is tough to use, but it offers everything we need for our project development teams to keep in touch and collaborate on the same platform.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

There are a few aspects of the program that might be better. The consumer portal, for example, needs more features. Projects are not automatically linked to cases. Some activities are time-consuming and need many phases. Access to the project plan and direct access to reports is restricted by license type. Even if you may provide read-only URLs to this data, it seems like an unnecessary restriction.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Clarizen has many features that are too fascinating since it makes it very easy to personalize the report and share it with the teams with all updated data. I'd gladly suggest it to others.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our operations have been streamlined by managing our clients, projects, and resources all in one place. We couldn't function without the resourcing features; we have a huge staff, and managing schedules without a PSA solution would be difficult.

  ### 32. A piece Great Software that has helped to combine all our projects and finances into one location

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam M. | Senior PMO, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The ability to report across the whole portfolio in one location is invaluable, as a tool clarizan has had a massive impact across the business and is slowly being rolled out to other departtments for planning puposes. Jira intergation is Key for our Development team allowing for all their spints to be pulled into clariven and inform the project finances
I think it is one of the more balanced options out in the marketplace. It really has hit on our requirements. We just have seen the support level decrease from Clarizen as they have grown. That can be a challenge at times when we do need something from them or when we do have questions. Their support responses are often not very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Whilst clarizen is a great piece of software and we make good use of it the most common complaint from our poroject manager is that at times it can be slow especially report loading. I found a lot of times, that new users were overwhelmed with the UI and needed to come to me with a lot of questions, trying to get the project team fully immersed in Clarizen is always a challenge and takes away from the collaborative features.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

I think it is one of the more balanced options out there. It met our requirements.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest beenfits for us is that our project reporting used to be split reporting across all the indiviual projects that used to take a week if not more to consolidate and pull together, now our project and portfolio reporting can all be done from a central location with one push by any user even the directors
We can ensure that we are meeting due dates and timelines outlined and communicated to our stakeholders

  ### 33. Pretty Good, But Not Perfect

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The feature of Clarizen I like the most is the ability to use it for Social threads about what is happening with our Customers. It is very useful for group communication.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

When reporting Time, if you wait too long, the screen freezes up, and then you have to log out and then back in to continue. I sometimes lose part of my entry when that happens. You don't lose everything from the session, just the entry you were on when you paused.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's great for group communication. I get new comments right in my e-mail. Very convenient! This also allows us to keep a running record of activities, as we have a thread set up for each of our Customers.

  ### 34. CLARIZEN ONE REVIEW

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nuria T. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

the fact that you can collaborate and connect inside the projects

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

nothing so far, I love it and would recommend to everyone for project management

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

automation is key

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

project management, I used to use smart sheets, but this has so many more capabilities

  ### 35. Made my life easier through resourcing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I love how easy I can at a glance review my teams capacity.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I feel that there are some opportunities for improvement when it comes to resources needing to be assigned to multiple items in a single day that must be completed on the same day.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest issues I was having as a resource manager was identifying the resource bottlenecks and proper placement of the correct resource on projects. The Resourcing module has definitely had a positive impact compared to our old system.

  ### 36. Clarizen One: Comprehensive PMO Solution

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel H. | Program Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen gives you everything you need in terms of Portfolio and Program Management. In terms of comparison to other platforms, Clarizen's resource loading is great because it allows splitting resources in the tasks. Clarizen can scale up to whatever your needs are, especially in terms of Custom Fields and Custom Reports. Also, depending on how you set up your environment, building reports is pretty straightforward, and you can schedule them to reoccur on a time interval.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

For Clarizen One the facet that I dislike the most is that because of all the features within Clarizen it is not very user friendly. I found a lot of times, that my coworkers were overwhelmed with the UI and needed to come to me with a lot of questions. Therefore, trying to get the project team fully immersed in Clarizen is always a challenge and takes away from the collaborative features.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

If you have many small projects that you have running at any given time, Clarizen is a great tool to use. If you have mainly large scale projects and few of them, perhaps another solution would be more beneficial.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Clarizen mainly as a Portfolio management tool to track anywhere from 50-100 projects at any given time. We also use Clairzen to keep management apprised of all the changes within a project as well. The benefits I've seen is that it kept our teams more engaged and using the tool led to less silos and communication breakdowns. The tool itself, I haven't seen many problems, other than the weaknesses I illustrated above where user integration was low as a result of the myriad of features.

  ### 37. Go for it !!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siddharth S. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

This tool makes your work easier for both the techie and the non techie person, due to it user friendly UI/UX design.

Clarizen helps the project manager by managing the breakdown of tasks along with tagged people. The tools for communication are easy to use and effective.

Algorithms can be written with a very little knowledge of designs and can be easIly fulfilled with the help of their provided training sessions.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Price of license is bit high which makes it difficult for small organization to use it.

Custom fields limitation is a bit drawback, which needs to taken care of.

Integration with other tools is bit complex.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

You can give a try as it has a great scope of learning for non technical individuals with the help of basic algorithms and workflows

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Out of the Box Reports are the best part about this tool as it catalogues all your actions, tasks, toll gates completions and what not in their OOB reporting, which can be easily shared too.
Strategically completion of projects with custom reminders help the user and the managers make the work smooth.

  ### 38. Overall a solid PPM platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon N. | Senior Principal, Implementations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I think Clarizen is easy to use and it includes many of the items that are useful for our organization. We use it to manage client facing projects and portfolios. We also use it for internal and external meetings to track progress and to track against baselines. I think keeping Clarizen updated is fairly intuitive, and the interface is also simple. It is much easier to manage than MS Project and has many more features beyond SmartSheet. I think our organization has improved in our credibility as well as our project tracking since we implemented Clarizen. It also has been helpful for internal communication on projects across the team and for issue tracking.
I also really enjoy the portfolio management aspect as in the past I have managed multiple product implementations at the same time. By having a portfolio capability, I have been able to link dependencies and tasks across projects to better align to the reality of the implementation.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Some of the add on functionality/integration with Clarizen is fairly clunky. Slide publisher isn't great, and you can overwhelm the system when you need to make multiple updates on a project. It also could be more intuitive/helpful when there are project conflicts. Adding in standard project management reports that have worked well for other clients would also be great. I also feel like we haven't learned much about additional functionality that Clarizen has added over the past few years. There likely is other functionality that would be beneficial for our organization to utilize which we just don't know about. We also struggled in an attempt to integrate with Jira.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

I think it is one of the more balanced options out in the marketplace. It really has hit on our requirements. We just have seen the support level decrease from Clarizen as they have grown. That can be a challenge at times when we do need something from them or when we do have questions. Their support responses are often not very helpful.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a lot of variability within project management within our organization. Clarizen has really helped us to standardize across product lines. This has provided a much more aligned process when a client is implementing multiple products. It also has helped us identify risk or projects moving off track earlier. This has improved our outcomes and our consistency in our implementation process. It also has helped us with client credibility as we do have clear processes to show them. It also allows us to provide client's more visibility to the project plan and the project status which helps to form client partnerships and accountability.

  ### 39. Great Implementation Strategy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dawn K. | Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The implementation of the product has been well planned and executed. Very informative consultants to assist us. Support has also been excellent.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

It is a little overwhelming at times as we are just starting to learn it and use its capabilities.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Putting time reporting, project planning and resources planning all in one app. Once we get it all configured and running, our PMs will be able to do everything they need to do in one place.

  ### 40. Great tool with room to grow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebekah R. | Senior Implementation Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen's overall usability is great for basic project management; including creation, tracking and reporting. If you're looking for a tool that's easy to use and navigate as a project manager, then this is definitely a great choice. I've worked with other project management tools, and Clarizen's UI and basic features definitely trump others.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

It seems like Clarizen can do a LOT of things, but we either don't know what those things are because of lack of continued training and education through the years, or the things we do utilize (e.g. meeting management), require more development in order to be used to their full potential.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

If you're looking for a tool that's easy to use and navigate as a project manager, then this is definitely a great choice. I've worked with other project management tools, and Clarizen's UI and basic features definitely trump others. You can easily use Clarizen on a regular basis and have accurate tracking of your projects. You can utilize Clarizen to ensure you are aligned with your team defined KPA/KPI/goals -which informs your manger of project success rate, realistic KPA/KPI assignment, along with risks/issues associate with projects. Further, you can use project templates to ensure that process for implementation is accurate and remains up-to-date with all internally departments and their associated work.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen allows us to appropriately manage, track and report on projects. We can ensure that we are meeting due dates and timelines outlined and communicated to our clients. Internally, we can report on these projects, allowing managers and leadership to have visibility into team goals and overall ability to meet outlined KPI's year over year.

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I am a Clarizen Administrator; mainly, I liked the way how things are configured in Clarizen. It cant be easier for this.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project Management

  ### 42. Clarizen One Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Environmental Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The ability to track rates and resources in a way that isn't very easy to configure, yet is customizable to be able to fit almost every coding standards.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Not very clear on how all the parts come together at times. A challenge to gain a full insight on the overall structure and configuration of the entities within the application.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Be sure to be ready to learn a great deal about this product first. This way you can really apply what is learned and implement the solution the correct way from the beginning. Reach out to the Clarizen community for pointers and contacts so you can bounce ideas and gain from their experience. Support is pricy and when you want answers, you need to know someone that is savvy with this product before you attempt to make things happen on your own.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alignment of the projects and being able to separate projects across multiple portfolios. Configuration of projects and their distinct business areas within the product. Permissions on various groups and keeping their visibility controlled.

**Official Response from James Lustenader:**

> Thank you for taking the time to write a review of Clarizen on here! We always like reading these, and your recommendation to others are fantastic!

  ### 43. A comprehensive and flexible solution for PPM

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen One enables nearly all aspects of project and portfolio management to be carried out on a single tool, which allows for convenient management and provides a large set of community maintained data to be applied in controlling and reporting activities.

The interface is largely intuitive to all users, which helps to promote adaptation, which is especially welcome in the case of software not commonly known.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Areas to improve are the low detail error log and limited data visualization options. Reports generated in Clarizen One often do not deliver to actual business needs, requiring other tools to be used based on extracts from the system.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen One serves as a large ground-level input interface, a management tool for the portfolio, and as a source of data for further processing and visualization.

It also answers many of management reporting needs straight, thus reducing PMO reporting workload.

  ### 44. Useful PM tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

All the information I need about the portfolio are in the same place

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

The web app can be slow sometimes and it takes some time to update changes

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using it for reporting on the portfolio and the projects. I have also just started using the capacity management which has been great for resource planning.

  ### 45. It is flexible and easy to use to manage many projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim D. | Digital Project Management , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I like how flexible and customizable this software is and how much we have taken advantage of it to carry out organized and efficient project management within our organization. Its interface is quite intuitive and straightforward; it is difficult to use and has everything we need for our work teams to stay communicated and collaborative in the development of projects within the same platform.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

It has been complicated to integrate it with third-party tools that we have, it has taken a long time to do it, but other than that, its performance so far has been extraordinary.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Clarizen is an effective tool for managing and tracking many projects at once. It is highly customizable, very flexible, and does not require too much training for users to become familiar with this tool because of how easy it is to use. Recommended.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen One has worked efficiently since its implementation, its ease of use, and how easy it is to configure workflows have represented significant time savings in everything related to project management. It is very flexible and functional, even on mobile devices. It is used by every team member daily and has been of great benefit in keeping our productivity high.

  ### 46. Clarizen One is a simple tool to configure to the needs of the business.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carrie W. | I, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I like best because I don't have to be a Clarizen expert to configure the tool. I also like that if I do need help or clarification, the help documentation is very robust, and I am typically able to find my answer.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

I wouldn't say I like that Clarizen One and ClarizenGo are not more connected. It would be beneficial if someone can integrate both tools.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Clarizen One, we solved a significant transparency problem to the data in running Projects and Services.

  ### 47. Flexible and powerful

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Riccardo M. | Consultant - Project Portfolio Management , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen is flexible and complete in terms of functionalities. It can be tailored according to the company's needs.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Some features are pretty complex to use if you are not familiar with PM best practices

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Consider implementing Clarizen if you need a complete solution that may help you evolve your processes. Before starting using the tool, consider doing some methodological training on PPM methodologies and provide users some support and coaching.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have complete visibility on our project portfolio, and we can track actual hours spent on projects and, therefore, project profitability

  ### 48. Very good project management tool i have come across!

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Nothing really. A lot of pros instead. Thank you!

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

If you are looking for a one-shop-stop project management tool, then go for Clarizen!

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to manage project, capacity planning as well gives good visibility to assess the work volume.

  ### 49. One place for all PM activities. Less admin, more value.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veselina I. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Clarizen One is a great tool for reducing the administrative efforts of project managers and for allowing more time for customer interaction and bringing real value to the project. It is one dynamic IT solution for all project management related tasks such as schedule, risks, action tracker etc. throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Also, one of the big benefits is that Clarizen One is interfacing with existing back office systems such as SAP, Sales Force, Outlook etc., which means that the PM efforts are integrated into all functions of the company.
Through dashboards and reports, all internal stakeholders can have a clear 360° view of the status and health of each project.
If I don't have access to my laptop, I can easily work with the mobile version of Calrizen One on my mobile.
Overall, it is out of the box solution, but Clarizen One offers the services of tailoring the tools as per some specifics of the organisation, for example a specific PM standard that is being followed.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Overall, Calrizen One is a great software and now after I use it daily, I don’t know how we managed to work with the old ways of working (eg. Excel). However, there is maybe one downside. As a PM, I work with Engineering, Finance and Supply Chin departments and sometimes I need them to contribute to the information in Clarizen One, however, since this is not the main tool for their departments, sometimes it is hard to make them log in and use the software to its full potential.
Also, when implementing Clarizen One in an organisation, a comprehensive work on shifting the culture towards digital should be completed. There might be some people who resist of letting go their old and well known ways of working, such as using Excel and Power Point.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

Clarizen One is an out of the box solution, but it is good to check with the stakeholders in your company if you need to use the services of Clarizen consultants and tailor the software further to your organisational needs, such as integration with other back office systems or compliance with specific PM standards you are using.
In the process of implementing Clarizen One in the organisation make sure that some activities for adapting the culture to digital, such as roadshows showcasing the benefits of the software, are conducted to prevent resistance of the usage of the new software. Lead a regular and hones communication with the stakeholders regarding the progress of Clarizen One implementation and the next steps.
Once you have Clarizen One make sure that you edit your project view as per your needs. You can then make this view as a default for every project.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarizen One definitely reduced the admin work I had. I am now able to generate an automatic project report and not spend hours creating one in Excel or Power Point. I now have one place and system where I can keep track of the project schedule along with risks, action items, non-conformance cost etc. All my internal stakeholders know that they can find the most up to date project status in Clarizen One 24/7 without even having to request it from me. All this definitely allows me to bring more time and value to my communication with the end customer. A real benefit is that once I update my project information in Clarizen One, through the interfaces with the other systems, the relevant information is updated there as well and I don't have to log in to multiple systems to enter the same data.

**Official Response from James Lustenader:**

> Thank you Veselina, for your amazingly thorough and detailed endorsement, we here at Clarizen are absolutely thrilled that you have achieved so much success with our product!

  ### 50. Clarizen One review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dorsey W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

Software is very customizable. Service is really good - quick and responsive. It stuns me sometimes how quickly the support team responds, even to lower priority requests for assistance. Our implementation consultant, Matt Gathercole, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, flexible and easy to work with. Improvements to software occur regularly. Clarizen offers free webinars and support to continue learning how to best use the software. Support site is pretty good for providing assistance. Communication with customers is very good.

**What do you dislike about Planview AdaptiveWork?**

There are some elements of the software that could be improved. For example, the customer portal needs greater functionality. Cases are not automatically associated with projects. Some tasks are tedious and take several steps. License types limit access to the project plan and direct access to reports. While you can share read only links to this information, it still seems like an unnecessary limitation.

**Recommendations to others considering Planview AdaptiveWork:**

From a business perspective, I highly recommend Clarizen. They have been great to work with and are very responsive. The software is solid and meets our needs as a professional services organization.

**What problems is Planview AdaptiveWork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing projects is more consistent. We eliminated several tools by going to Clarizen One.
