As my title explains, Planoly is like having a personal Social Media Assistant without breaking the bank. What I love the most about this excellent program is that it auto-schedules all of your posts to the best time your Instagram followers are the most engaged. It also now syncs with Canva -- where I make all of my graphics for social media -- so I don't have to worry about working with two different programs. It's hard to say something that I dislike about Planoly, but if there is anything that I can say would make this product better is the ability to add videos and auto-schedule them to post. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI of Planoly is very pleasing to the eye. It's easy to create new posts, add hashtags, add the first comment on a post, and rearrange scheduled posts to create a nice-looking grid. I especially like seeing the visual of my Instagram grid so I can plan out my content. I use one of the paid plans so that I can add the first comment on a post; I have a group of saved hashtags that I can quickly add to the post comments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As of right now, I don't see a way to add Reels, but this may be due to the API and might not be due to Planoly. It seems like Planoly is adding new features and keeping the app up to date, so I don't really have anything that I dislike about the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Instagram is one of my favorite creative outlets as a visual designer. I value Planoly for its ability to sync my Instagram feed with potential posts. This way, I can plan out my feed in an attempt to create and maintain visual balance between posts. If an image doesn't feel right, I can tweak the preset externally and re-upload, or seamlessly reorder the posts. With the free plan, I am limited on the number of images I upload monthly, but this has yet to be an issue since I don't post too often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find the interface of Planoly to be more complicated than necessary. Compared to other platforms like UNUM or Unfold, which I prefer, Planoly seems like it's trying too hard. I exclusively use feed planners to visualize my content before posting. I don't need additional bells and whistles like statistics or auto-scheduling for my personal Instagram account. These features crowd the app for me. However, I find these features helpful for business Instagram accounts and clients of mine who must stick to a schedule and want to learn more about their audiences. Additionally, lately the platform has struggled to sync all of my live Instagram posts with my feed on Planoly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It allows you to visually see what your content would look like when you start planning. If you have a store and sell goods, you can add this feature, and you don't even need a website. They have helpful content calendars that help you plan for posting. It also has stock photos that you can use in addition to your organic content. You also get to automate your posts.
