I love how easy planning center check inns is to use for our volunteer teams. It takes a lot of data that we pull from planning center registrations and compiled into a very easy to see and easy to use system that a volunteer can manage or honestly we could use with a tablet check in system for those checking in individually. I wish there were ways to customize the check in system to where users could check in on their phone as they enter the building. Maybe there isn’t what I just don’t understand it or know it yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most helpful thing with PC Check-Ins is the reports! It is so helpful in our kids' ministry to have a roster of who is in service every week. It is so helpful to have all the parent's information for follow-ups! And we LOVE the barcode tags!! Parents love being able to check in their children themselves! It makes life SO easy and is worth any amount of money! Also, it's so easy to train new volunteers on how to use it and manage the system. The ONLY thing I wish would be improved on PC Check-ins is the ability to check in guests and hold their information in the system. This App is almost flawless. Easy to set-up, Easy to use, seamless system for child security, and the price is super good for all of the features. There are literally too many goodies to list. The printer features and mobile vs. desktop features is a huge loss. Currently, only Dymo printer users have the option to print custom labels. If that is something you are considering, then you will want to look into Dymo. Also, the desktop app does not print wireless. You can only print wirelessly if you have the mobile app on a phone or tablet (keep in mind, the printer has to be wireless/wifi printer if you want to print wirelessly [just had to mention this in case someone tries to reference this]. the check in process is easy as soon as a child arrives. If the child’s name is already in the system it’s just a matter of a swipe. If the person is new, adding a name is not that difficult. The ability to connect to label makers to create labels.

Working around the iPad app when administrative changes need to be made. If an event is not active but you want to make changes to the event, the app is not very easy to navigate to get in and make changes.

Planning Center is not just “Check-ins”. It’s also “Services,” “Groups,” “Reservations” etc. So sometimes all these different services “get in the way” of focusing on one thing.
