The biggest issue I’ve run into with Planful is that some of the setup and customization can be a bit rigid. For example, if a reporting structure or planning template doesn’t quite fit how we manage grants or contracts, it takes some work to get it adjusted. At a produce company, what we like best about Planful is how seamlessly it supports multi-level sales management. The platform makes it incredibly easy to drill into individual accounts and explore detailed financial data—without having to export anything to Excel. We especially appreciate the ability to expand all rows and columns directly within the platform, which allows our team to analyze performance by product line, region, or customer segment with just a few clicks. What do you dislike about Planful?

Currently, Planful is not connected to our ERP system, which means we still need to manually upload a significant amount of data. This adds extra steps to our workflow and limits the potential for real-time updates. We’re hopeful that moving forward, we can establish a direct integration with our ERP system to streamline the process and fully leverage Planful’s automation capabilities.
