They have training modules and videos now, which have expanded significantly over the years. I find language familiarity and ease of use great because anyone who understands simple mapping and retrieval can use it. I also like that most formulas are common to the MS Excel framework, allowing me to create reports and planning templates with minimal recreation. Workforce planning has been taking major strides, which used to be a weakness. I know Dynamic Planning was a tool that provided immense customization options, but was very difficult to use. Sometimes product enhancements can be slow to roll out. I appreciate that Planful listens to its customers and takes feedback seriously, but straightforward updates shouldn’t take 18 to 24 months to implement. Administration used to be simple, but as new features are added—which customers consistently request—it has become more challenging to troubleshoot and identify which settings need to be adjusted to reach a solution.
