"Efficient project management with onepoint Projects"
5/5
What do you like best about Planforge?

As a PMO I appreciate the most the possibility to create clear project plans, monitor project advancement, efficiently create and administrate to-do lists and project documents. I am also a big fan of the meeting agenda and meeting minutes function which is built-in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planforge?

Nothing much, really. I think the project reports could be still further developed (more graphics, more modifying options). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"onepoint PROJECTS a simple and powerful project and portfolio management tool"
4/5
What do you like best about Planforge?

What I like best about onepoint is the simplified user interface, when I sit and compare the ones I have used in the past, which have a way bigger name in the market but look so complicated that when you really sit to work on those it is intimidating. OPP on the other hand has a very user-friendly, simplified look, so well adhering to IPMA/PMI standards that you might think you are going through a practical session on PMI's project management process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planforge?

It is kind of new in the market, I believe it's been around for 3+ years but I would still say it's new. There's lot of features that is in the nascent phases (with little documentation) but knowing the dev, support and sales team personally, I must say they are highly dedicated and improving fast. "PMO Director Implemented the onepoint PPM tool"
4/5
What do you like best about Planforge?

For us best feature is out of the box Jira integration. It has been difficult to find a mature PPM tool that has integration with Jira. The Atlassian plug-ins are not quite PPM tools. Additionally we can answer project cost questions in real time based on the work that the resources are accomplishing based on the status of their Jira tickets. Before this tool we had monthly updates in another PPM tool by project resources which was not always aligned with the day to day project progress.

In addition to this we also get trend analysis, risk cost (based on the impact on specific tasks or milestones), as well as reports and a built in scope/charter.

onepoint also has an REST API that can be leveraged to interface with other internal tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planforge?

The tool has lots of screens that I do not use but some find them useful. I think that Atlassian Confluence integration would be great. However having the REST API can eventually address this integration as well as other integrations that PMO organizations may have.

Lastly it is important to get your team a training workshop which onepoint can deliver. It is not that the tool is extremely difficult it is that project management is not always an exact science and people within the same team have different understanding of how to manage a project. "Very well designed PPM solution"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Planforge?

The ease of use. Compared to other PM tools, Onepoint Projects is certainly the one with the best work-flow and ease of use.

You can build up your custom reports directly from the interface using guided DB queries.

There is integration with JIRA for tasks work logging which is great for people already using JIRA.

The ability to install on premise was critical for us. Many other solutions offer it only as SAAS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planforge?

It could be a bit pricey if you are a small business. One can lower the cost using JIRA for reducing user licenses however this is not ideal for somebody who had in mind an all in one tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"OnePoint is truly the one point to go to effectively manage your projects across your organization"
5/5
What do you like best about Planforge?

All of my project data is in one location for all of my on going and previous projects. Schedules, costs, future projects, risks, files - it is all in One place. Project setup is flexible so it can handle complex projects or simple projects with ease.

Summary views allow senior management to quickly get an overview of the project portfolio and the status of projects.

Very easy to use but extremely powerful and flexible. Incredible reporting features that are able to be customized easily.

I can set OnePoint up to suit my organizational processes rather than have to fit to the program's

Great customer support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planforge?

"Excellent PM tool for engineering development"
4/5
What do you like best about Planforge?

Ability for engineers on the team to give input to the progress of the schedule. This allows us to see in real time what isn't progressing well, and allows us to react quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planforge?

Documentation feature is weak, basic. If there was an integrated sharing tool without having to purchase or integrate another tool would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
