The concept of Planable is good in theory — a collaborative space for planning content. The interface looks clean at first glance. Unfortunately, that’s about where the positives end. You don’t get nearly enough features or value for the cost, and there are plenty of competitors that provide more at a better price point. On top of that, the app is buggy and unreliable. It freezes, doesn’t save properly, and often just doesn’t work the way it should. For the subscription price, the experience is frustrating and disappointing. The bugs and limitations have created more problems than solutions. We expected it to streamline content collaboration, but instead, we’ve spent more time troubleshooting issues and dealing with glitches. The lack of reliability outweighs any potential benefits. Sometimes the mobile publisher doesn’t work even though it’s set up properly. Also, about 2 years into working with planable? Media Library inside - all the videos and pictures that someone uploaded in your company can be reused in different pages. Photo editor with text and crop and effects - good to fix something before posting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Planable? - It can NOT post stories on instagram without using your phone (some other services and even facebooks BusinesSuite can plan stories that auto-posts without taking actions from your side). - It throws errors about "aspect ratio" or video duration and does NOT post, but when you have a carousel with 10 pictures there is no way you can see what picture have that problem. Unfortunately, the API for publishing Instagram stories directly has not been released for any third-party scheduling tool. All Instagram publishing is done through Facebook's API, which is why Facebook Business Suite has access to publish stories (available since April). We're hopeful they'll give access to other tools as well in the near future. We also appreciate your feedback regarding carousel posts and have forwarded this to our team. We're planning to improve this experience in the future so it's clear which image needs revising before it's ready for automatic publishing. I'll be happy to update you once this is live.
