It is a great platform for newbies looking for basic editing of images but the ads suffer a lot and hamper the overall user experience in the free version so I would recommend that if anyone wants to use it for professional purposes then they should definitely go for the premium version. One of the greatest strengths of Pixlr is that it automatically saves the work history, both within the browser and in a downloadable file. I also highlight its diversity of fonts and the free-to-use image bank it offers so I can experiment with different styles and create from scratch something simple, like a logo or a banner, or even more complex projects. I've used this to design a textbook- and mark my words: the cover page came out too good!! I had used just one feature of it, and I was just curious about how it'd turn out- there's a feature where you can expand the existing image by a few pixels, and my word: it sure does fill in the gaps without any hassle. It's not so hard to use, and I tried it out a few times before getting the final result. And what's more: it uses AI! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I had fully utilized the trial and I am happy with it. No cribs about it, any day! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In my experience with Pixlr, I haven't encountered any significant drawbacks. However, it's important to note that the free version does have some limitations, such as a 250MB storage cap and the inclusion of ads. While the free version lacks premium features, it serves well for personal use. Nevertheless, if your needs extend to business purposes and require advanced functionalities, opting for the paid version would be a prudent choice. The paid version offers an enhanced and feature-rich experience, ensuring a seamless and professional editing environment without the constraints associated with the free version. It offers a very easy-to-use interface, offers striking effects, through that program we can crop, brighten, add texts, change colors, and even create new images, it is for me the best image editor I have known. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I don't like about this great editor is that the number of effects it has available is very limited, I would like them to add more effects to make the program more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
