Pixlr has saved me countless times when Photoshop just takes too long to do the same task. I find working with Pixlr way easier and faster than fiddling with slow and sluggish Photoshop. For one example, I use it to change solid colors of pictures. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pixlr Express?

I love how easy it is to use. There are so many preset filter options that you can spend a lot of time trying every single one to see which one you like best. I think with all the updates over the years, they have changed the format a little too much and it was more user-friendly before but it's still not that hard to figure out. It just takes a little more time to go through the menus to find what you want. However, there are a lot of options so that's great to have considering a lot of photo editing apps out there don't have a lot of options at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pixlr Express?

The are up top are ridiculous. They change so much while editing pictures so they're annoying and totally unnecessary. I understanding companies have to make money and advertisements are the way to do it, but it's not really attractive to have them change every so often at the top of the editing page as it's completely distracting and a turn off for all. If you are looking for something that is easy to use and has a lot of options for a photo editing software app on your phone, then Pixlr Express is a good one to choose. "I love the quick and easy filters."

What do you like best about Pixlr Express?

I love the quick and easy filters. Sometimes as a bonus for my customers, I put some effects on some of their photos and they always love them and I like using the filters for photos for my business to upload to facebook or even my website. I do have a program I could use to make my own filters, but this saves me to time and hassle it would take to make this many filters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pixlr Express?

I'm not able to install it on my newer phone. I prefer using it on the computer, but I'm taking more and more photos on my phone, so I'd like to be able to have it on my phone now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pixlr Express?

Sometimes the program will freeze in the middle of editing and if you have not saved your work yet, you will lose all your work you have done. So suggestion would be to save often! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pixlr Express?

The best part about this express version is that almost all the features of the "editor" version are available however the user does NOT have to download a thing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I dislike about this software is that it is flash dependent. Also, the program has a limited amount of fonts that can be used if inserting text. Other than that the program is pretty robust. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This editor is great for quick image processing as well as customizing pre-designed ads, banners, logos etc. If you are looking for a FREE and Autodesk quality program this is it. What problems is Pixlr Express solving and how is that benefiting you?

Often times I am asked to convert PDF documents to editable Word documents and this software helps me edit any images or logos contained within the pdf so that they look their best in the Word version. I find that Windows' native photo editor is clunky and disappointing however Pixlr Express is quick and no bloated download is necessary.
