I really dislike the price that must be paid in order to enjoy all features. The ability to edit and download has become more and more limited over time. I love Pixlr! When I first began using it some years ago, I found it useful but never thought it could replace the expensive photo programs available for a sizeable fee. Today's Pixlr -- even the free version -- rivals its more pricey cousins. It allows you to do just about everything the expensive programs do from the basics like auto correct and adding text to more complicated tasks like merging images to resizing to color change and more. Completely web-based, can download images while still editing and can export in widely used formats, works in most browsers. Pixlr has many included template formats for publishing and formatting. The inbuilt text options are very good. Bringing in images from external sources is allowable with an upload to browser with seemily no size limitation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Limit of file size and output resolution. Also when editing some of the text templates the option may be made of multiple layers and in this instance editing one layer does not update so you have to manually edit both with the same settings, which is a bit frustrating.
