**What do you like best about Pixa?**

I’ve had this app for a few years. Excellent concept in theory but it’s not actually the reliable tool it promises to be. It's fast and consumes almost zero RAM.

**What do you dislike about Pixa?**

If it’s not crashing or closing, it’s frozen. Thumbnails do not show up, and live folders never seem to update (or the app doens’t render them). It seems the only guaranteed way to get this to work 100% is to import actual copies of the files to the app, but that just doubles the disc usage: totally defeating the purpose of wanting a bird’s eye view of what you have in your library.
The feature lists says it supports SVG but I have, so far, been unable to get Pixa to importa a single SVG file. The issue I’m encountering has been complained about going back as far as 2012 but ShinyFrog seems to always blame a bug in the Apple Sandbox feature. I have other similar apps that do import SVG without any problems so I suspect there is something else going on. I don’t think there’s been an update in a while so it’s just not keeping up with the Mac OS updates. Disappointed.

The Project, Folder, Live Folder stuff is not very intuitive. You put projects inside of folders but not folders inside of projects? That seems exactly backwards to me.

**What problems is Pixa solving and how is that benefiting you?**

none
