What do you like best?
The ability to accurately track actual time needed to produce a specific style of ring insures that the time designated for production and the price is competitive in the market. After enough data is compiled it is easier to understand which steps in the production process can be improved to increase productivity and also profit margins on each style. For example a certain style of ring may be prone to porosity in the same area and required additional time not original accounted for in the production timeline. Over time a company can decide to increase productivity or change the price to account for the additional time required. Possible changes could include a decision to sprue the wax in an alternate place, implementing educational resources to help jewelers' efficiency, investigating other problems that may be contributing to wasted time, making minor design changes, and increasing price to account for time. The great part is that all of this data can be quantified. You can see how different changes in the process change the overall time required effectively streamlining each design. What do you dislike?
Many people use the program from a variety of different backgrounds. It sometimes reminds me of excel which is really useful if you know how to use it and requires a learning curve. It could also be a little sexier. its not very exciting to stare at all the time but seeing that design is not its main purpose and data is i can't complain too much. What do you like best?
Nothing as the support and software were no good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike?
We wouldn't recommend. They are happy to sell it but the support isn't good. Takes days to a week for a reply when you are trying to set up the software. They wouldn't listen. When you finally get an answer a week later they didn't even answer our questions - then have to wait days for another reply. We were told the software was capable of doing what we needed but unfortunately it wasn't.
Wouldnt refund hours that were wasted, we lost thousands of dollars for nothing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
