What do you like best about Pipl?

Pipl lets you identify people of interest with identifiers like addresses, phone numbers, social media, addresses, employment, education, and much more, which speeds up my investigation process faster. It is undoubtedly one of the essential tools in investigations and can search with email, phone numbers, name, and pointer. As a person who uses Pipl daily, it would be pretty hard to imagine researching on a person and not using Pipl. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipl?

Sometimes the amount of information it gives can be overwhelming, and it might be challenging to make the most out of it initially with so many complex data merged into one. What problems is Pipl solving and how is that benefiting you?

Pipl in my organization is used in Investigations on companies and entities for social media screenings. Using it daily has made me realize how organized it can be, with categorizing information into different sections and also having the option to search for searching for a particular pointer. In short, if you are a researcher/investigator and need something to help you in your research process, Integrating it into API is a gem and works flawlessly. What do you like best about Pipl?

You can search with a PH number or an EM, even if you only know the name of the person and the city, you can do a search.

Pipl Gathers social media and you can have an overview of the profile, which is helpful. Also provides you with information about where is the person from. It shows you multiple addresses, PH numbers and EM's. If you are having troubles finding a person, Pipl shows you potential similar profiles matching some criteria, such as EM handle pattern, city, or name. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipl?

Sometimes you have to change country code for PH numbers, or you have to add a + sign, It would be helpful to have a list of country codes, so if you do not know the code you can type the country name and get the correct country code; or just not have to do that in order to save time. Recommendations to others considering Pipl:

Make sure you type correctly a PH number, even if the PH number is right and there is no + sing some times you won't get a result if you don't do that previously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would suggest exploring the different levels of data packages closely. We use almost exclusively the Business-Premium data, which is, of course, the most comprehensive and costly. What problems is Pipl solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Pipl?

Pipl provides the highest match rate with the most accurate data among any data provider i've seen. Their API is great; I especially like how they allow you to only pay for matches that return fields you are interested in. Pipl is the backbone of our business and we're incredibly happy with it. What do you dislike about Pipl?

One thing that I wish would be better was the quality of emails. Yahoo has a policy of deleting unused email accounts after 12 months, meaning yahoo emails on PIPL are largely undeliverable.

I wish I could choose which email matches I'm paying for, instead of paying for all emails and having to filter out all the Yahoo's. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have used Intelius and find it to have much better contact data for email addresses, but their website constantly crashes. I wouldn't recommend Spokeo, it doesn't provide nearly as much info and the data is not accurate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
