Pipeline Bio is built for scientists, project managers, procurement teams, consultants, and research leaders working across preclinical research, translational development, clinical development, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, and related functions. The Directory of Providers spans contract research organisations (CROs), contract development and manufacturing organisations (CDMOs), academic facilities, specialist laboratories, consultancies, and other organisations supporting the life sciences. The Catalogue of Capabilities is organised by a four-level Capability Taxonomy. The AI Search Agent suggests relevant Providers from a plain-language description of the work, and read-only Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectivity lets Members query the Directory of Providers from their own AI tools. When requirements are still taking shape, project scoping sessions with the Pipeline Bio team help define the brief. Evaluate the options. Standardised Storefronts present each Provider’s Capability Listings, expertise, locations, and Quality and Compliance Accreditations in a consistent format, and the comparison tool sets shortlisted Providers side by side. Provider Evaluation Reports, currently in beta, go further for a specific capability. The Pipeline Bio team defines what matters and where it can be evidenced, works with the Provider to obtain that evidence, and verifies what it can. Because Providers offering comparable capabilities are assessed against the same criteria, reports can be read side by side. Pipeline Bio does not score, rank, or endorse Providers; the decision stays with the Member. Manage the engagement. Members send enquiries, prepare structured Requests for Proposal (RFPs), share them with selected Providers, and communicate through Chat, with every enquiry and RFP tracked in My Enquiries and My RFPs. For projects involving Australian Providers, the RFP Summary Report provides evidence relevant to R&D Tax Incentive and Overseas Finding applications. Pipeline Bio makes no guarantees regarding eligibility. Typical decisions the Platform supports include choosing Providers for specific assays, studies, manufacturing activities, clinical services, professional support, or specialist infrastructure; weighing capabilities across countries and Provider types; identifying research collaborators and licensing opportunities; and looking beyond existing professional networks before committing. Members can use the Platform from anywhere in the world, and eligible Provider Organisations in Asia-Pacific can create and manage a Storefront at no cost.
