Easy and very unique. Really enjoyed the patient profile sorting system. Best pharmacy software I've ever used hands down. I've used nextgen, pharmaserv, and a few others, but Pioneer blows them out of the water in user friendliness and efficiency Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is an overloaded app that where its functions are organized on the top bar and even broken down further. I like how there are so many components to it even though it might be intimidating at first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the dull layout, but everything's zoomed out to fill the screen with more tabs and make it more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ability to use the printed receipt information as the label for the bag. I also like the transparency on the pricing information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The system is not windows based, making it difficult to navigate. The pharmacist verification screen is also difficult to run DUR reviews on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SyncRx is amazing. I am in charge of our sync program and have more than 550patients to manage and pioneer makes the process seem less. Over all layout is also easy to maneuver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They don’t work as well with vow phone system as we would like. Vow has their side of the text messaging platform set up hut pioneer does not have theirs. It would make communicating with patients much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It better keeps track of where the prescription is in the processing stages, keeps track of inventory, and allows paperless auto fills and syncs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Finding the formula for certain compounds, such as Mary’s Magic is very tedious. Unfortunately, you can’t see a preview of the formula before you click on it. So most of the time it takes over twice as long to find the right formula than it is to make it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall, PioneerRx was an easy software to use as a pharmacy technician. I liked the neat user interface, many keyboard shortcuts, and method of contacting customer service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one feature I experienced the most problems with was the automatic refill feature. There were some positive parts to it, however, it had many glitches. For example, prescriptions would not pop up for autorefills if the delivery driver did not assign the Rx as completed, although it did show that it was delivered. I love the functionality of PioneerRx. It works great for a smaller independent pharmacy like I work at but it also has all the features that would be useful in a bigger chain store. I love the interface it has with PK Software from PCCA for compounding. This has made billing so much easier for me. The workflow features when used correctly can really maximize efficiency and help prevent errors. I also believe this software is very user friendly. The install/training team was great and patient answering all our questions and easing us through the transition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some features that I think would be useful as far as reports. It is harder to navigate sales reports and if a vendor is not auto-linked. There is however and idea button where you can submit ideas for upgrades and vote on the ideas submitted by others so that they are aware of the needs of their clients. Pioneer allows easy data input and organizes information in an efficient way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The system has broken a couple mornings within the past two years. This holds workflow up while we try to fix it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do like the excellent customer service during office business hours. I enjoy that it is great to teach new employees on. It is very user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
After normal business hours after 5pm, no help, unless calling a customer service number elsewhere, until the next business day Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
