## Pinterest Reviews
  ### 1. Very Pinteresting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2016

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

Pinterest is so visual, I love that. Combed with SEO and high traffic - it is a phenomenal tool for bloggers, shopping, and idea collection.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

This is already in process, but marketing to men can still be improved. I hope to see a larger feature for men: vehicles, repairs, activities, how-to's, health, etc. Instead of "Men's Fashion." For example, my husband is a medic and loves fishing and hiking - he's not going to care about a $200 satchel or peacoat.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Utilizing Pinterest for business = higher amounts of traffic and referrals.

  ### 2. Pinterest

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Writing and Editing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2017

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

Setting up boards to visualize my work and finding visual inspiration.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

Hard to pin something from your own work.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping customers visualize my work.

  ### 3. A Teachers Best Friend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stepheny S. | Teacher , Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2017

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

The ability to pin from any site, organizational features

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

There seriously needs to be some kind of time lock on this site! There's so many rabbit trails to go down, that you often get sucked in for a few hours!

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Keep an eye on the clock when using. You will find so many useful things on here!

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration with users on an international level.

  ### 4. Pinterest- my guilty obsession

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacqueline B. | Chemistry Department Student Services, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2016

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

I love everything about Pinterest. The fact that I am a natural List Maker and planner is probably part of the reason why I can't get enough. I can plan and not forget because Pinterest allows me to organize all these wonderful clothes, recipes, activities, and products the way that makes sense to me. This is seriously how I de-stress from a long day- it's like daydreaming-or window shopping when you're on a very tight budget. Once I've had a good session, I feel like I just outfitted my dream home and a career wardrobe to be envied!

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

Honestly the only thing I can think of is how they don't let you use the back button anymore. You used to be able to scroll down to get "more of the same" type pins which was amazing and exhilarating! You can't do that now for some reason.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

So much fun and productive for those who are organized or have bad memories!

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using Pinterest for personal use mainly, however I have been able to "pin" and share some of my own business/products online with others.

  ### 5. Pinterest

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

There is not much I dislike but if I said one thing it would be making messaging easier

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I rely on Pinterest when I am seeking new ideas for my personal life, my family & friends, and my business.

People are more able to have a visual representation of the products and or services offered.

  ### 8. I use Pinterest for connecting with others and sharing ideas.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alison M. | Consultant, E-Learning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2016

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

It helps me find contacts and connect with them within Pinterest. Connecting with colleagues allows me to see what they're working on and thinking about, which influences my work and projects. I also like that I can navigate and use Pinterest in both personal and professional venues (my gardening board appears alongside my authoring tools board).

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

Sometimes I see content that I'm not 100% interested in, but it's easy to move on. The app for my iPhone works pretty well, but I don't find it as easy to use as I'd like.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Pinterest to connect with others--professionals in my field who are on Pinterest. We share ideas, potential tools to utilize for projects, educational strategies, etc. It's an easy, quick way to connect, share ideas, and learn new ideas.

  ### 9. Easy to use image and idea scrapbook

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2017

Ability to curate ideas and images into different groups and contexts.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

I would like the ability to link to documents and files other than images.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

It's a specific tool tailored for images and visual communication. It odes that well, and does not do may other things well, as it shouldn't.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pinterest allows us to curate images and visual information, such as infographics, that are helpful to marketing and customer education.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

I like how you can organize all your ideas within boards. I also love the plethora of ideas that comes with this website.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

Since it has become popular, a lot of false information and broken links are out there. It is good to double check all your pins every once in while.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Consider following boards of other influential users (within your field). It's also good for marketing.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The lack of ideas among employees. Some things on pinterest are very inspiring!

  ### 11. Fun to use adn full of great ideas

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2017

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

I love the face that it has a wide variety of ideas and its ease of use

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

That you have to login in order to see a post in full

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Use this asa tool to help market your business and get ideas to help improve

  ### 13. Pinterest is your source for connecting visually with your customers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2017

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

We use Pinterest as a tool to gain interest in our state as a travel destination. The visuals allow us to show off our state.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

We're reaching a smaller demographic of our market.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

I would recommend using this tool after you've established a blog, Facebook Page, and Instagram.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're seeing our destination appear in more boards and want to travel to boards because of this tool.

  ### 14. Love me some Pinterest for business growth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley C. | Freelance Writer for SaaS, Marketing/Advertising, and eCommerce, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2017

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

It's fun to use so promoting doesn't feel like work.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

I like everything about Pinterest especially for business use.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Promoting my blog and getting traffic.

  ### 15. I LOVE THIS!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kayla P. | Registration Specialist, Events Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2016

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

I really love being able to be creative and being able to keep my ideas all in one place.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

It was frustrating when links wouldn't work or when there is spamming.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Just keep using it! It's awesome!

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's great for collaboration with colleagues. And I love that you can have private boards.

  ### 16. Pinterest for Property Management Use

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2016

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

For personal use, Pinterest is easy to use, but for business, I find there is a very little use for it.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

It's not a successful way to deliver content to prospects and residents.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Pinterest is great for personal use, but fails to deliver content in a clear manner to prospects and residents in the property management arena. We no longer use this software.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None.

  ### 17. If your content is visual, Pinterest is the go-to social media platform.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barry M. | Corporate Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2016

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

Pinterest is an easy-to-use and VERY powerful social platform that allows visual content to be easily shared and promoted.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

Like any other social platform, Pinterest depends on users to decide your content is valuable before it becomes valuable. Similarly, if you don't invest in creating good visual content, you won't see good results.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Sign up, begin using it and get a grip on how it works before you begin trying to promote your own content.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to share lots of good content by spending a bit of time with good images and interesting basic descriptions.

  ### 18. Great Way To Show Your Interests

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul L. | Senior Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2016

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

I like how Pinterest provides a way to search, find & then show graphically all the different categories of interests.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

The only minus may be that you can get so distracted by all the pretty images found that it'll become counter productive to your work.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

I highly recommend Pinterest to everyone because there's really nothing out there that offers this free tool.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pinterest is a great way to share your interests with others and also graphically organize & keep them to go back and see them at a later date.

  ### 19. Great place to find lots of ideas

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Summer S. | Assistant Director, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2016

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

We used Pinterest to get ideas for events and it was great! So many ideas we could use, the hard part was narrowing it down.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

So many options, it could be a bit overwhelming, but nothing too bad.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to have events that get more students involved. Pinterest gave us some great ideas to get them interested.

  ### 20. Pinterest

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa A. G. | Quickbooks Specialist, Insurance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2016

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

It is fun and you can promote your business in a casual way. You can make your own categories.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

I really like it and do not have any complaints.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Definitely use pinterest it will give you added exposure in a fun way.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am branding myself and promoting my business.

  ### 21. Love/hate relationship with Pinterest

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa S. | Staff Attorney, Legal Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2015

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

Pinterest is a phenomenal tool to organize and save multiple pictures and website bookmarks in self-determined categories. It's a great place to find new recipes or craft projects. It's also the easiest way to plan a wedding I've found.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

It's easy to save an ovewhelming amount of information and make your own "boards" confusing. It's also easy to feel like everyone in the world is making these perfect projects because they've pinned 1000 perfect school lunches and you barely get your kid out of the house with shoes on.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

So easy to use that it's easy to become overwhelmed after discovering you've saved too much information. It's a phenomenal tool but it can easily become overwhelming.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't use Pinterest for business--it's primarily for personal use. With that said, if I had a design-related job or one where I needed to save and categorize websites, Pinterest would be a good tool.

  ### 22. LOVE THIS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2016

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

there isn't anything on this site that you can't like from diy projects, crafts, decorations, recipes, entertaining ideas and so much more, truly is like being a kid in a candy shop

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

there isn't anything not to like on this page

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

just do it you won't regret it at all

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

none

  ### 23. A good time passer!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiffany T. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2015

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

I like being able to save things that have interested me. I try to keep as few boards as possible and make things fit broadly into those handful of categories. The suggested pins are pretty good when you look at the main page, and searching specific results is pretty accurate as well.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

How the pages keep going and going and going...

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Stay organized right from the start or it can be a bit overwhelming.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps keep new ideas, thoughts, and interests organized :]

  ### 24. LOVE Pinterest for idea sharing and keeping all my thoughts/ideas organized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cindy M. | Account Manager, Insurance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2015

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

Anyone and everyone can share their ideas and passions so it's a place with lots of diverse themes.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

Sometimes the app is not cooperative. I would copy a link from somewhere, and Pinterest doesn't see that I did when I open the app and so it doesn't ask if I want to pin it, so then I have to go through the app itself to find it again.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's easy to use and I absolutely love that you can make your own pins that link to different websites.

  ### 25. I love organizing my interests with Pinterest.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2015

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

I like how easy it is to pin from browsers and repin while on the pinterest platform. I think the UX is very intuitive and enjoyable.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

I don't like that people can't check out a pinterest board or profile for more than a few seconds if they're not logged in to Pinterest. If the board and profile is public, anyone should be able to view it.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Don't use it for business.

  ### 26. The great pinterest

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brooke H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2015

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

You can search for anything and get a wide variety of results.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

It can be disorganized sometimes with a mish-mosh of ideas on one page.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can find almost anything you need on Pinterest which is a benefit.

  ### 27. Pinterest is fun

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2015

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

I like the fact that there are plenty of ideas for crafts and food as well as home decoration.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

I dislike when their are repeating posts and posts that have fake links attached to them.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding ideas for new projects.

  ### 28. Powerful visual social network with a large community

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2014

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

Pinterest is a great place to find visual inspiration for your everyday projects, whether it's for business or personal reasons. For brands, it's a great channel through which you can connect with customers and non-customers alike.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

The interface itself can be overwhelming. Users might want to take a look at one of the many Pinterest management tools on the market.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

It's a powerful network, but like any visual platform, it can be overwhelming. Consider a management tool.

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I first started using Pinterest as a way to communicate with some of my brand's more visual followers, as well as potential customers for certain lines of business. When done right, it can be a real traffic driver to the site. When managed incorrectly, it can definitely be a time suck.

  ### 29. Love love love Pintrest

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa S. | Migration Coach & Customer Service Specialist, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2014

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

That fact that you can get ideas from food to crafts

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

Sometimes can't refind something that I thought I pinned

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Just do it you will love it

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No business problems the benifits help me find fun stuff for my kids to do

  ### 30. Creative "go-to" place!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenny P. | Grants Manager, Philanthropy, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2014

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

A place to track ideas, projects, wishes, just about anything!!! I like how Pinterest is always there to help me "brainstorm." New ideas are endless! Pinterest can help those who are afraid of the "blank sheet of paper".

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

It's hard not to get "lost" and "overwhelmed." The "pinning" lifestyle can go in many different directions. A little more initial structure and instruction would have been nice.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Try it out…it can't hurt that much. Caution: addition may follow!!

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Possibilities are endless when you get that many creative juices flowing!!

  ### 31. Pinterest as a visual bookmark

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tori G. | Owner, Health, Wellness and Fitness, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2014

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

I love that I can SEE what I've saved, rather than trying to make sure to describe it perfectly so that I'll remember later why I saved it!

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

Sometimes the necessity of having a picture is limiting.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

If you want to save things and be able to find them easily later, join Pinterest! If you want to get ideas, join pinterest. Be careful... it's kind of addictive!

**What problems is Pinterest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing my product more widely is possible as a result of this very visual platform.

  ### 32. Great Way to Expose Yourself to New Things, but Very Time Consuming

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Agency Manager, Insurance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2013

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

I love you search many different project ideas and try new things in the garden, garage, or around the house. My wife uses it for a dream board including many things for our coming child. I am really grateful for the perspective of people out of my own element and would say that is the greatest benefit.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

Just like many social media tools and environments this can be a great tool but a huge time waster also. Very time consuming.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

If your goal is not to spend a ton of time try not to get caught up in the vast amount of things that distract, but rather search with a purpose to find something specific in any given category. I love the search functionality and find it very useful.

  ### 33. Quick Access Visual Favorites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2013

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

I absolutely love having boards of visual favorites. In the past when I've relied on favorites links in my Internet browser, I often can not locate what I'm looking for as it is buried beneath numerous other unidentifiable saved links. With Pinterest I can easily scan categorized boards to find what I need. Pinterest is often the first site I go to for recipes, DIY projects, organizational / cleaning tips, and gift ideas. Since I work closely with municipal governments and agencies, I am seeing a real usefulness in Pinterest as a marketing tool, especially for tourists.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

One of the biggest problems I've encountered with Pinterest is properly crediting link sources / broken links. One purpose of pinning something is to be able to reference it later, however when links are broken or not credited properly it can create issues trying to locate the source of the information.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Just try it. Everyone can probably come up with a few topics that interest them enough that they are looking for frequently online. Pinterest is great for organizing almost anything you find on the Internet in quick-to-browse visual boards.

  ### 34. Confusion Implementing Product

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher E.

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2013

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

I like the ease of use "pinning" articles or pictures you might find interesting. It's nice to save items for your own personal use to come back and look at later (kind of like a fancy "bookmarking"). I also appreciate the ability to organize (and view others' pins) on boards arranged by subject.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

It's very hard to figure out how to use this product initially. There are so many people and boards out there that it's hard to know who and which to follow and how to interact with the fast quantity of data out there in the virtual space.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

This has the potential to be a major drain on your time. Carefully consider if it is worth it for your marketing/branding before deciding to go through with the somewhat complex process of establishing and maintaining an account.

  ### 35. Pinning for fun/hobby, B2C and B2B

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joy M. | Senior Director of Marketing Operations, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2013

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

Pinterest is easy-to-use and appeals to the visual interest. Whether you're using it for fun, B2C or B2B, Pinterest offers a wide range of benefits. For B2C and B2B companies can distribute content in an engaging way - For example, include an image on your blog or products to make them easily pinnable and easy to share. It makes content marketing that much easier. I think Pinterest is especially good for those utilizing sites like Etsy to sell products, as well as bloggers, DIY gurus, and more. While Pinterest is still gaining traction in the B2B-world, it still has it's benefits, such as social collaboration, a larger online footprint to be "found" and more. I like how Pinterest uses categories/topics to group pins so they are easy-to-find.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

I think Pinterest can be overwhelming to the beginner user. The more people you follow, the more pins you see. One thing I would like to see improved is adding more categories/topics to search pins. Sometimes my pins just don't fit in any of the out-of-the-box categories and I'd like people to be able to find my pins better.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Overall, I would recommend Pinterest, especially to those who are looking how to do something, a DIY project, recipes and more. B2C companies will see many marketing benefits by using Pinterest, as well as some B2B.

  ### 36. Great visual

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben E. | Social Intelligence Researcher and Consultant, Research, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2013

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

Pinterest is a social media platform that's visually appealing like Instagram and easy to use for marketing purposes, like Tumblr. The way you can set up boards and have people collaborate makes it a great alternative for Facebook photo albums (especially if you happen to have a plethora of pictures to store and show your fans and followers).

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

Nothing so far, though I personally wouldn't give it a 10 - I still think Pinterest has some more refinements to make if it wants to be a solid and long-standing platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Check out the mobile apps if you want to use Pinterest on the go - personally I think they're much more useful than the mobile web app version.

  ### 37. Pinterest is fun and surprisingly useful

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Britten T. | Writer, Freelance Copywriter and Blogger, Writing and Editing

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2013

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

By and large the best feature of Pinterest is how easy it is to share images on this site, and get your content out to a large quantity of users. What you share, or "pin" quickly garners a large audience, and that's a great feature for marketing.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

I dislike the immaturity of the site. Pinterest is a new Social site, and has a long way to go before it will compare to the likes of Facebook and Twitter when it comes to selling power.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

I would recommend Pinterest as a marketing tool for anyone in a field which is remotely artistic. If you have images that you can share, Pinterest will be a GREAT selling tool for your business.

  ### 38. Great Source For New Content

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cate C. | Adjunct Professor, Higher Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2013

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

Pinterest is one of my favorite sources for new content. The focus on images makes it an obvious platform for things like clothes, travel etc. but it is also a really great place to find digital content. Everyday I come across infographics, new font styles and UX design elements that inspired new ideas.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

The only thing I don't like about Pinterest is that it is very easy to get sucked into the platform. I can spend hours on the site.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Don't forget about your Pins! You've added these items to your boards because the content was compelling - now use them. Next time you need to go shopping for something, go to Pinterest first and review what has caught your eye in the past.

  ### 39. Fantastic for every occasion!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vrena R. | Associate Project Manager, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2013

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

Everything, I love pinning! It helped me plan my wedding, learn how to sew, and do fun DIY projects for after work or Saturdays. There was so many uses and it is so easy to organize.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

It sucks me in for hours upon hours, which results in a lot of pins that will only be pins.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

If you like doing crafts, eating, staying fit and healthy, or just enjoy creativity in general you need to get this!

  ### 40. Bookmark it

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruban K. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2013

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

I see that you can bookmark or pin all the useful articles or news that interest you. You can create Boards (like Bookmark folder) and add pins to it. You can also share it friends

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

I personally find no much value in this service. I see that it has inspired other people. For me it looks like bunch of flickr and picasa album links stored as a bookmark in my browser bookmark bar.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Read all the reviews before trying the service. Consider it as a bookmark service.

  ### 41. Still figuring this out

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark R. | VP of Sales, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2013

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

I like how visual Pinterest is. There is also an enormous variety of types of things posted on this site. I have used it to display items that we have in our Antique shop.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

I still have not figured out how to really use this. None of the items I have posted have sold or had a lot of interest. So I must be doing something wrong.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

If you are looking for cool stuff or want to display cool stuff this appears to be the place.

  ### 42. Pinterest: Useful for consumers and businesses alike.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carolyn P. | Freelance Designer, Graphic Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2012

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

I originally started using Pinterest as a way to visually bookmark websites and design that I liked. Pinterest is a great site to use as a way to archive what has interested, inspired, or amazed you while browsing the web. I know many pinterest users that create boards merely for fun (dream houses anyone?), mockery (fake-wedding boards poking fun at bridezillas) and hobbies (baking, cooking, sewing, etc.).

What is great about Pinterest is the dialogue it creates within this community. Friends of mine often pin items that I may have not considered, recipes I've never heard of, or art that I have never seen. Even if something is pinned for humor's sake, it's interesting to see how we all connect and what we are share in likes and dislikes. I've tried a few other Pinterest knockoffs (like the Gimmebar) and found that they just don't have the same allure that Pinterest does.

As far as using Pinterest from a business standpoint, I've created a separate account just for research. I find it easier to share a Pinterest board of research, rather than links in an email.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

Once I had this misfortune of my account being hacked, which was annoying. The iPad app for Pinterest seems to falter from a usability standpoint, otherwise this is something I would recommend to other people. My only other dislike is how Pinterest is mainly associated as a women's product, which I think comes from the interface design. I think if Pinterest's interface were more neutral in it's design, it might have more guy-pinners, which wouldn't hurt in a predominant marketplace of ideas that seems to be feminine.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

YES!

  ### 43. Personal Planning, Dreaming, and Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andee F. | Sr. Brand Manager, AVP, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2013

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

At first, I liked the ability to browse through pieces of inspiration on end. At times, I do get sucked into doing that. What has interested me in the past year though is the shared aspect of pins. I have two boards in particular that cultivate true connections with other people. I have a board with my sister who lives out of state and through Pinterest we share funny things, ideas, and items meaningful to us and our relationship. It is a way without calling or texting, without needing to be together for us to have fun times. The other board that cultivated this element of community was one I made to help plan my school's Junior Senior Prom. I invited different members of the school staff to the board and I, and others, would pin ideas we had and eventually put together a full event based on what we found. What a unique collaboration tool!

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

I personally dislike following people who pin a thousand times a day. I get inundated with images that may or may not be relevant to me and buries good pins. But, that is just something I need to avoid personally. Other than that I think it is underutilized as a collaboration tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Know what it is. It can be a shopping list, a wish list, or just pure indulgence, but it can also be very helpful in satisfying the hunter and gatherer in us and making our choices to purchase or create more planned and meaningful.

  ### 44. Tagging meets the world wide web

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel L. | President and COO, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2013

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

Excellent linkage across disparate and seemingly unrelated images and web links pinned to a board so they can be tied together. Very clean web interface and strong and growing community. It is free and designed to get the creative juices flowing...whether at home or for work purposes.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

Nothing I can find at present.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Check it out - keep track of as few or many interests as you'd like!

  ### 45. I don't get it

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charysse S. | Lecturer, Education Management

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2013

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

It's a much better alternative to snipping magazines. Like something? Pin it and refer back to it when you want. It's like bookmarking for the whole Internet.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

It's hard to figure out how to use Pinterest at first. I couldn't figure out its purpose for a long time.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Give it time to grow on you.

  ### 46. Tons of fun, and lots of untapped marketing potential.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wine and Spirits | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2013

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

Pinterest is a huge driver of web traffic, and a tremendous enabler of word-of-mouth. As the platform grows, it will only get better and better. As it stands, marketing options tend to be organic only.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

No advertising options.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Have fun- it's a great place to generate awareness.

  ### 47. Addictive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bobby H. | Marketing Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2013

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

It sucks up hours of time, between looking at recipes or pictures. Countless ideas have been found by searching through Pinterest

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

Nothing, great product

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Use it

  ### 48. Keep track of your ideas with visuals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2013

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

I like that you can have all of your 'to do' or 'to make' or 'to try' projects in one place. Instead of sorting through lists or page bookmarks, you can browse all of these 'save for later' projects and ideas visually.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

They should allow 'sub' boards or a way to group boards together in similar categories. You should be able to have different privacy settings for the profile and boards.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

You can have a few 'private' boards that only you, or the people you invite, can view.

  ### 49. Fun and easy to use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Linda K. | Social Media and Employment Brand Consultant, Insurance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2012

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

When Pinterest first became popular I was resistant to liking it. I don't like to cook so seeing other people's recipes seemed silly and I didn't need to see more cat pictures. But I have been transformed and now am a Pinterest fan. I like how businesses are using it and have helped some of my social media clients learn how to use it to their advantage.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

It still seems like a somewhat narrow demographic. I have not seen a ton use among men.

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

Have fun with it. Follow your friends AND favorite businesses.

  ### 50. Digital Scrap book

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barny M. | Business Development Executive, Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Pinterest?**

Really good way to keep a track of great websites, recipes, funny viral's, inspiration, gifts, job vacancies, things that make you go 'oooo' and possibly 'arghhhh'. good to see friends pinterest boards to see what they are up to and catch on to a new trend.

**What do you dislike about Pinterest?**

I love Pinterest

**Recommendations to others considering Pinterest:**

just go mad put anything you want on. or off
