## Pingram (previously NotificationAPI) Reviews
  ### 1. One API for all your notification channels, and it just works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taimur A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

Getting started was incredibly fast. We had notifications up and running in under an hour. The API is clean and well-documented, which made integration into our existing stack painless. Having email, SMS, and in-app notifications all managed through a single platform saves us from juggling multiple providers. The dashboard makes it easy to monitor delivery rates and troubleshoot issues without digging through logs.

**What do you dislike about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

Pingram is great at solving the communications layer as is but I would like more configurations on the SMS side.Honestly not much to complain about. It would be nice to have more granular configuration options on the SMS side, and a few more pre-built templates for common notification flows would save some time. But these are minor asks and the team seems to ship updates pretty regularly.

**What problems is Pingram (previously NotificationAPI) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Pingram, we were stitching together separate services for email, SMS, and push notifications. That meant maintaining multiple integrations, dealing with inconsistent delivery tracking, and spending engineering time on infrastructure instead of our core product. Pingram consolidates all of that into one API, so our team can focus on building features instead of managing notification plumbing. Delivery reliability has been solid and we spend way less time debugging failed messages.

  ### 2. Effortless Integration, Generous Free Tier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dipesh D. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

I love Pingram for its powerful notification API and seamless integration, which makes it exactly what developers need. The product's ease of use is a standout, with setup as simple as just signing up without needing to add payment details. The extensive and well-instructed documentation adds to its value. Pingram made my product OpenChat better with notifications and is the ultimate solution for emails, even the free plan provides more than enough for startups. The founder, Sahand, personally goes above and beyond in providing exceptional support, showing genuine care for user success. Moving to Pingram from Twilio was a good decision, and it earns a perfect 10/10 recommendation from me.

**What do you dislike about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

Nothing

**What problems is Pingram (previously NotificationAPI) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pingram made my product OpenChat better with notifications and solves email delivery. It's easy to use, documentation is clear, and setup is just a signup without payment details. The free plan offers more quota compared to Twilio.

  ### 3. Ideal for startups.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavel C. | Software Engineer

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

I like the good price and the very extensive free tier, which makes it accessible. The excellent library setup and ease of use are also appealing. The email message configurator is also super convenient.

**What do you dislike about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

It might be a more understandable localization, because right now we have to do the localization entirely on our side. Maybe it's possible to add such an option to the NotificationAPI side. But it's not critical.

**What problems is Pingram (previously NotificationAPI) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use NotificationAPI to set up all necessary email notifications, password resets, and SMS broadcasts, simplifying the infrastructure. I don't need to write my own notification service, which is cheaper, especially for small volumes.

  ### 4. Solved a problem that bothered us for years

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arjan P. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

For years our company had batched notifications and granular settings on our roadmap. We expiremented with several competitors and started homebrewing our own based on kafka queues. As part of my quarterly ritual of googleing to see if anyone else solved it by now I came across NotificationAPI.

After an introduction to the service by Sahand and his team we quickly started implementing their software, which was a breeze, and became one of he first to use their batching feature. Any feedback was addressed fast and accuratly and customer support was stellar.

As a small to mid-sized business I'd recommend their service to anyone looking for a well-rounded notification saas with great features and awesome support.

**What do you dislike about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

No real downsides other than the speed of reviewing logs, which I believe has been worked on since I last used the feature.

**What problems is Pingram (previously NotificationAPI) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NotificationAPI handles batching and Notification preferences for us. Additionally the option of designing mails is simple enough that our content team now designs and writes the emails themselves without the for tech support.

  ### 5. Finally something that works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam S. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

You can tell that this was made by engineers, because it just works. I love that everything is defined in one place. All my transactional and system notifications behind one door. I love the headless library that I get to use in the FE. So many products force you into their "perfect and easy UI 😭 (until you want to do anything custom). NotificationAPI allows me to take advantage of all of their systems that I don't want to build, and let's me build the only things that I need to/want to for my app to work like our Product team wants it to. They are super quick to respond for support questions as well.

**What do you dislike about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

Honestly, not much. They nailed it. Everytime I use it I smile.

**What problems is Pingram (previously NotificationAPI) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I send them data payloads - they send out notifications. They let me define channels and the end user can control their own preferences (HUGE win here). They handle that matrix of channels x notificationType, and I never again have to mess with a user's preference setting. It's awesome.

  ### 6. Efficient platform for SMS verifications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisha R. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

NotificationAPI has already built-in templates that have saved my team time and cost incurred in building SMTP and SMS gateway from scratch. It has automated link generation system that enhances easy recovery of forgotten passwords. It can be easily customized to suit different application models in DevOps.

**What do you dislike about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

I have not encountered operational challenges since I started working with this platform.

**What problems is Pingram (previously NotificationAPI) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is easy to group messages in my notification tab and manage them via APIs. NotificationAPI enables my team to receive timely alerts when our systems are down and there is high CPU usage. We have build solid SMS infrastructure that supports fallback channels when email fails.

  ### 7. Seamless notification authentication tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel N. | Python Developer, Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

The platform enables my team to monitor application behavior and system performance from anywhere. It provides real-time alerts that monitors close activities on web applications. It is easy to customize to suit user needs for specified alerts that performs efficiently with company systems.

**What do you dislike about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

NotificationAPI has done the best to keep our systems running effectively with timely alerts.

**What problems is Pingram (previously NotificationAPI) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform keeps my team on the same page with quick notifications when working on joint projects. It has kept my team safe with clear elaboration of the origin of most messages and their interaction safety. Collaboration in the enterprise has been efficient since we deployed NotificationAPI and has effectively complied with privacy policies.

  ### 8. Streamlined Notification Management for SaaS Products

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yashar M. | Freelance data analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

NotificationAPI's intuitive interface ensures that even first-time users can set up push notification campaigns with ease, eliminating the need for extensive development resources.

**What do you dislike about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

While NotificationAPI offers a generous free plan suitable for small-scale projects, the paid plans start at $250 per month, which might be a consideration for smaller teams or startups.

**What problems is Pingram (previously NotificationAPI) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a software developer working on a B2B SaaS platform, I utilize NotificationAPI to enhance user engagement and communication. Specifically, I employ it to send multi-channel notifications—such as email, SMS, and in-app alerts—to inform users about important events, updates, and reminders within our application. This integration ensures that our users receive timely and relevant information, thereby improving their overall experience with our product.

  ### 9. Separating our notifications form code release process reduced developer overhead

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ridwan H. | Intermediate Full Stack Developer (Team Lead), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

NotificationAPI enables users to manage notifications independently of the codebase, making it easy to handle notifications without technical expertise. Also, notification content can be updated without requiring a code release, which has been very useful for our team.

**What do you dislike about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

Currently NotificationAPI only supports one production environment and one sandbox environment.

**What problems is Pingram (previously NotificationAPI) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We currently use multiple notification services tied to our codebase making it difficult to manage notifications without technical knowledge. Some of the notification services also use older technologies such as `messagequeue` which has been problematic for us. NotificationAPI is allowing us to manage all our notifications within a single space without tying it to our codebase.

  ### 10. Effortless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** marc w. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

The best part about NotificationAPI is the ease of setup, it was impressively straightfoward, taking it less than five minutes. Beyond installing the package in your web project, no additional setup is required.

It also supports multiple communication channels, including email, SMS, and in-app notifications, with a drag-and-drop interface for editing each notification. This eliminates the need for boilerplate code.

The free plan is also generous, making it an excellent choice for small-scale projects.

**What do you dislike about Pingram (previously NotificationAPI)?**

There isn't really anything i dislike about it right now.

**What problems is Pingram (previously NotificationAPI) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me implement the sms and email notification feature without having the need to write all the boilerplate code myself such as creating an api endpoint for sending notifications, configuring smtp setting in a transporter, etc.
