## About PING
PING is a live Linux ISO, based on the excellent Linux From Scratch (LFS) documentation. It can be burnt on a CD and booted, or integrated into a PXE / TFTP environment. Several tools have been added and written, so to make this ISO the perfect choice to backup and restore whole partitions, an easy way. It sounds like Symantec Ghost(tm), but has even better features, and is totally free.

**What do you like best about PING?**

PING has very well designed system around OAuth design patterns, easy to integrate and have large user community

**What do you dislike about PING?**

Found it tedious in start to decode token and verify token is untampered

**Recommendations to others considering PING:**

You can use PING for implementing user/password based authentication flow, can be used in SSO applications

**What problems is PING solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For authentication, we used PING. It makes sure that secure access is provided to your app and that it can act as Main door to your secured application.

**What do you like best about PING?**

The best part about ping is that we can easily either backup our data or clone it over MS Network Shared Directory. Along with the input and output data  it can also take backup of the whole partition making it very easy to rescue a system.

**What do you dislike about PING?**

A new user has to do some extra efforts in order to get used to the User Interface as there is very less documentation available online. Also pricing of the software can also be at a little more lower side. Availability of yearly license is also in my opinion a negative thing about the product as a lifetime alternative can easily be released.

**Recommendations to others considering PING:**

If data retrieval and revival is your topmost priority , then PING is the go to solution for you. Also since the product is built on LFS (Linux From Scratch) , installing complete copy of the product is very much feasible into your systems and performance and results generated by this tool is insane.

**What problems is PING solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Major problem which I am solving with PING is the sudden and quick revival of a system by taking backup or by cloning the data which can be re-used at some later time. Benefits I have realised are ample and speaks highly of the product like supporting multiple file systems like FAT16, FAT32, NTFS etc.
