What do you like best about Pigment?

The multidimensional aspect of Pigment wherein you can visualize a metric beyond the standard Pivot tables in excel and being able to analyse the impact of various scenarios to your forecasts, without creating copies as you would do in a spreadsheet for every change that would happen. What do you dislike about Pigment?

If you haven't used an ERP solution before, it results in being a more complicated solution compared to the ease of using spreadsheets since its not as intuitive as Excel formulas. Powerful for FP&A analysts but a bit of a struggle to onboard business users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Pigment:

It is an early tool in the market compared to Anaplan and the others which have existed in the market for a long time, but has shown tremendous improvement in the one year since launch, and as a startup, is more user friendly compared to the big companies out there. What problems is Pigment solving and how is that benefiting you?

As mentioned above, it really helps to visualize various scenarios and the impact of each on the base picture that you have. Further, having user access rights is an important feature since the pain point in Excel was it is hard to keep track on who is making the changes, especially with the organization and stakeholders increasing by the day. What do you like best about Pigment?

With Pigment we can have all our KPIs, reporting and budget in the same places instead of multiplying the excel spreadsheets. We can also add new dimensions quite easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pigment?

Pigment answers extremely well the daily modelling need of a finance team by providing infinite options. We moved our whole forecasting & daily analysis process on this tool, which allowed us to save time, communicate better with other business units & find new insights that couldn't have been modelled using more classical spreadsheet software. What do you dislike about Pigment?

Pigment is not suited for quick & dirty analyses that can be needed from time to time without the need for a complex database. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Pigment solving and how is that benefiting you?

As companies grow, excel/gsheet should not be an option anymore. Pigment allows scaling and automatizing to a whole other level. We were able to do many precise & deeper analyses that would have made any other spreadsheet crash & burn while creating a super-connected model where every piece of data has its importance. What do you like best about Pigment?

- Agility

- Availability of the help support during implementation. Modelers provide answers very fast, it is much appreciated

What do you like best about Pigment?

Very complete tool on which you can do whatever you want. Especially organizing robust data pipelines that save a lot of time on a daily basis. More organised and structured than Excel and more flexible than BI software. I highly recommend Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pigment?

Very flexible, the Pigment team wants the software to fit perfectly with your needs. Thus a lot of things have to be built from scratch. There are not that many templates to follow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
