"Great Editing Service for Newbies"

What do you like best about PicMonkey?

It's simple and has a short learning curve... this app has been around since I was in high school and it has evolved for thr better! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PicMonkey?

I dislike the pricing scale, they should allow you to pay per premium feature as everyone doesn't need a yearly subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use with a lot of features"
5/5
What do you like best about PicMonkey?

Not only is picmonkey affordable and easy to use, but it also every feature any creator, marketer, or designer would need in their arsenal. With a vast array of templates to choose from, we always find something to work with when we need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PicMonkey?

So far, we haven't really found anything that we didn't like. However, we do wish their were more ecommerce site advertisement banner templates to choose from and work with! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"PicMonkey review"
3.5/5
What do you like best about PicMonkey?

I like the extensive features available on Picmonkey. There are a wide variety of editing tools that you can use to alter and edit your photos. I used PicMonkey to resize some pictures, and I found the entire editing process to be very easy to navigate. There was no real need for any sort of tutorial for me to figure out what I needed to do, even for the very first time I tried using this program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PicMonkey?

I don't like that you have to register with your email. I also don't like uploading my photos to Picmonkey. There are some other photo editing software out there that do not require an email address, so those could be more favorable if I were too lazy to create an account. Also, I wouldn't say I liked the fact that they ask you for your email after you are finished editing and ready to download the photo. I would prefer it if they informed you right off the bat that they would ask for the email address. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I Love the Monkey"
5/5
What do you like best about PicMonkey?

There isn't much I don't like about this program. It requires no download, has a great assortment of fonts and templates. It's simple to use with intuitive design features and it's constantly evolving! I have access to other "high end" editors, the full adobe suite for example, but I still use PicMonkey the most. I also love the tutorials they have on the site. When I first started working with PicMonkey I couldn't get enough of them! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PicMonkey?

The only thing I dislike is that not all of the features available on the mobile platform are available on the desktop version, and vice versa. Though they did recently make all filters available in both places and they added in a Pro level subscription this week which may have the additional features in it, I only have the basic version so I'm not sure. "Pic Monkey Review"
5/5
What do you like best about PicMonkey?

The best feature for me is how easy it is to use the preformatted templates. I really love the featured templates, collage layouts, and the blank canvases for social media. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PicMonkey?

I have been using PicMonkey for a long time and it was a little challenging to learn the new setup a couple of years ago. I still get hung up every now and then, but it's still easier to use then Canva. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Modern and easy to use"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PicMonkey?

Templates are modern and unique unlike some other platforms that have dated design concepts. There are very many graphics, stock photos, and icons to use - most of which can be easily modified to work within the design. There are also geat modern font options that serve a variety of needs. This produc be used for personal use (invitations, home decor, cards, etc) or business use due to the versatility of the product and the number of templates available. Search functionality for templates, graphics, etc. is simple to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PicMonkey?

Templates cannot be shared with others; sometimes templates can be difficult to modify. Photo editing capabilities are not that strong, but there is enough to make it work for basic design needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hard to beat for the price and great for novice design work"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PicMonkey?

PicMonkey has many templates that help get me started. (I'm not a designer but do all of the design work for the nonprofit I work for.) I like that you can upload multiple brand kits, and I like how user-friendly it is. Downloading your finished creations is also super easy. The price is another pro for PicMonkey. I pay for PicMonkey out of pocket because using it makes my job much better and it is so cheap I don't mind (and I work for a nonprofit and like helping absorb costs). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PicMonkey?

Some of the set sizes they have aren't accurate (i.e. the LinkedIn company cover, which is way off). Their customer support isn't great and doesn't allow attachments (so you can't screenshot or screen record any glitches to show what is happening). I have reached out to them multiple times and have wondered if I was getting automated responses rather than a real person... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
