Pickit is a slick platform for storing, sharing, and searching for company media. We've got a team of >30 working on various projects; being able to tag, write image descriptions, and attach other metadata to our images has made it much easier for us to find relevant media when we need it. We've had some challenges getting the image licensing/photo release features set up in a user-friendly fashion. Currently, the user who is downloading an image isn't able to see whether or not an image with a person in it has a photo release already. As an administrator Pickit is extremely intuitive and simple to use - the settings allow an easy set up of groups of people to ensure that these groups only see what they need. It would be useful if there was a notification element to the approvals process (i.e. a notification to admin that something requires approval - and a notification to the person uploading when the item has been approved / rejected. We have been using so many different tools to make sure we can manage and find all the Company assets. But, Pickit was definitely totally right out of the box working. PickIt is very easy to learn to use at its most basic level - for uploading, tagging and downloading images. It can be organised into helpful collections too, which is great for different project teams. It then has a whole range of other capabilities which are more advanced and the customer service team is very responsive and takes on board suggested changes.
