It has a simple, modern interface with integrations that are important to most corporate environments. Having microsoft 365 integrations is a huge bonus especially when your organization uses it heavily for work.

These may be current gripes that will be fixed in the future. When in one view (Pick-it Drive), there isn't the ability to adjust the size of thumbnails for the assets and you have to click into it to see a larger preview of the asset file. Our customer success manager, Caitlynn Casebeer is the BEST in that she is responsive and helpful with issues - she genuinely cares about us having a successful experience with Pickit. While the demo and sales pitch made Pickit seem intuitive with robust capabilities, our experience is that after nearly 6 months using it: 1) it's not intuitive to navigate and find functionality needed, 2) it's slow to upload media (compared to Google Docs or Dropbox), 3) it's confusing when it comes to users and contributors and what they can access or not access or how to get them access, 4) I'm still confused as to when or why to use Pickit Drive vs. Collection in Media when sharing content, so my filing system reflects this, 5) after 6 months, I shouldn't still be confused. I think the most painful aspect is when Caitlynn does an AMAZING job explaining how to use features and functionality, and I think I've got it, it gets lost on me shortly after, which is why it feels clunky and unintuitive to use. I've admittedly went back on to Google Docs and Dropbox many occassions to share files (internally and externally) because of the faster drag and drop of media capability Google and Dropbox have. That's probably my biggest dislike next to the platform being unintuitive; drag and drop is a must in our modern, fast-paced world. Instead, I spend too much time creating temporary network files to then upload to Pickit and vice versa. Equally important, I want unlimited contributors and not have them count as a license. I went into this platform thinking that only Admin people would be counted against a license. When I use Google, I can simply share a link and infor that link to restrict or give open access vs. the clunky way it's done in Pickit. I don't think my team uses it as often because of how clunky it is to use: navigating, slow uploads, sharing, creating organized files. The ability to have gated content via groups/families is exactly what we've needed to create a sense of exclusivity with some of our partners. Version control is also a huge bennifit since we're a global company working in several languages. Caitlynn has been hands on and offered GREAT customer support which is going to make implementation that much easier. Being able to set up syncing between our existing system and Pickit has been an invaluable piece to integration and is honestly the reason we chose Pickit over some other options. Pickit has been really great as a user friendly database to store and search for images. We love the ability to create collections, tag/key word images easily and customer service has always been helpful when we have queries. Our organisation has a number of people with intellectual disability working for us and so PickIts user friendly interface and straightforward navigation has been very helpful. There are a few things that we have sent to PickIt as suggestions for future updates. They have always very responsive and grateful for feedback. For example, being able to delete multiple photos from a collection in one go. Most of these suggestions would make the process of using PickIt more seamless, however none of them are critical.
