PhraseVault is a text expander and snippet manager application for Windows (10/11) and macOS (12+). Users store reusable text — email templates, code snippets, AI prompts, canned responses, and formatted text blocks — and insert them into any application using a global keyboard shortcut with built-in fuzzy search.
The software works system-wide across all desktop applications, including web browsers, Microsoft Office, email clients, code editors, and chat platforms. It supports Markdown and HTML formatting for rich-text snippets.
PhraseVault operates entirely offline with no cloud dependency. All data remains on the user's device, with no telemetry or tracking. The full source code is published on GitHub under a source-available license, allowing users to inspect and audit the codebase.
Team sharing is supported through shared cloud drives (Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive) or local NAS — no proprietary server infrastructure required.
Licensing is a one-time purchase with free updates included. Tiers are available for individuals, teams (2–5 users), businesses (6+), and education.
