This also meant that we could get "non technical" people involved in the process, which allowed Product Management to better work together and keep the workload transparent. It is now a tool we use daily. It also took minimal time to set up and get started, which was why we tried it in the first place. **What do you dislike about Phrase?** Probably because of the complexity of what the tool can do, automate and configure finding your way into using the software comes with a bit of a learning curve. To pick out one example, when the list of keys (in Phrase Strings) on the right side of the screen is filtered, you don't easily see that which can lead to the user thinking a key is not there, when in fact it is just hidden from view. In general, a "decluttering" of the UI for what you need for daily use of the tool would be appreciated in all areas of the product. **What problems is Phrase solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have multiple translators contributing to the localization and previously had no tool for transparent collaboration. It is intuitive to use, the learning curve is steep. When I demonstrate this cloud-based CAT environment to my students it only takes a few minutes to get them up and running. At the same time - if you are willing to bury yourself deeper into the settings - it has all the cogs and wheels for very advanced projects. **What do you dislike about Phrase?** The only thing that makes me grumble once in a while is the constant evolution of the product. Naturally, that is a good and inevitable thing that applies to any successful software. It's really not a complaint, just an occasional sigh of a user who has to keep up and learn all the new and amazing stuff :-). **What problems is Phrase solving and how is that benefiting you?** I teach CAT courses at a university. I try to show students a variety of existing products with all their similar and unique functionalities. Phrase TMS is fully cloud-based but also offers offline functionality via its Desktop Editor. Students like its convenience, uncluttered intuitive interface, and general ease of use. At the same time, it's a full-fledged CAT suite that can be used for advanced team projects. Thanks to the Phrase academic licensing program we are able to create a simulated LSP environment as close to real life as it gets.
