Recommendations to others considering PhpStorm: at first you will be surprised at all the features ... until you decide to use them your ide crashes and burns with no support and then ultimately you realize it was all hype and mostly increases the development time with negligible benefits. for every feature there is a learning curve that will force you to redefine your workflow until you can no longer contain it.
