Another important advantage is that being a web client it is available throughout the network that as long as you have access to the service you can even have it available through the internet. I liked that it is possible to connect to different database servers from a single installation of phpmyadmin after a small configuration. **What do you dislike about phpMyAdmin?** There are not many things that I like about phpmyadmin, I think the user interface can be more careful, the syntax highlighting and the autocomplete in the SQL editor are not present. These features would be great in phpMyAdmin. In addition, to append a table was very simple and the look of the tool is nice and modern. **What do you dislike about phpMyAdmin?** Maybe because I am still new at using this but I am not able to just copy and paste data into the table (instead of uploading) which is a pain to do every time. Furthermore, in order to upload the data, I have to convert the file to cvs which makes the data format aspect more complicated to figure out when the upload has an error. **Recommendations to others considering phpMyAdmin:** Make sure your headers do not contain spaces. Use underscores to replace the space.
