I like that phpMyAdmin has an easy UI that allows you to check your websites databases without knowing SQL, this makes it easy to write programs and see the tables of information without having to input SQL. I dislike that it isn't bug-free (is any program?) one of the major problems i have is being denied access to certain databases because i don't have the credentials. The problem is, i own the sever so how would i not have the credentials? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is very easy to install and manage, the professionals in the database sector, the vast majority say that phpMyAdmin is rubbish, I think quite the opposite, it has a community of developers behind it that inspires confidence, it is always updated and by default with "Xampp". To start phpMyAdmin is free this is fabulous, I can install a database client at no cost, another thing I like about phpmyadmin is that it can be installed on any operating system I have installed it indiscriminately on Windows and Linux operating systems. Another important advantage is that being a web client it is available throughout the network that as long as you have access to the service you can even have it available through the internet. There are not many things that I like about phpmyadmin, I think the user interface can be more careful, the syntax highlighting and the autocomplete in the SQL editor are not present. These features would be great in phpMyAdmin. The assignment of privileges within phpMyadmin sometimes fails, which forces me to perform this action through the mysql console. PhpMyAdmin is an excellent tool for managing Mysql databases, its visual interface is super intuitive and relatively easy to use.

We can download and use it for free, its web interface allows us to work comfortably and perform any type of operations that we need with our database and execute any sql sentence.
