What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

The organization of the platform is overall nice. Having one place to store all of our content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

With minimum knowledge, it can be hard to figure out how to use it from the backend. Figuring out how to assign who can view what. Assigning people to certain roles.I also don't quite understand the two different library experiences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

PhotoShelter for Brands is probably the most usable DAM I have had the pleasure to work with in the last decade, especially on the back end. The improvement process over the last year has been great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

At the moment, the front end discrepancy in the user experience for having special access to log in galleries is a bit annoying to explain to new users , but this has been reported and is being looked into by the team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Makes Photo Sharing Easy and Organized"
4/5
What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

My favorite feature so far is being able to share libraries with outside vendors, programs or colleagues and having the option to have downloads expire. Being able to have others in our college upload photos is very easy as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

I dislike how long videos take to upload. Not sure why but sometimes they will upload fast but other times it will take too long. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect for our team needs"
5/5
What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

I like how we can all work collaboratively in PhotoShelter. I appreciate the search feature and ease of seeing photos at a thumbnail size. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

I wish PhotoShelter had a "recently added" section. Currently, we add new photos to 2 albums- both the one they belong in and a "new photos" album. It's double work because then we have to later go and remove the second file. It can also be confusing to have duplicates when you search for "athletics" and tough to determine if a photo is similar or a copy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is incredibly helpful to centralize our photo assests for all stake holders and have the ability to manage our own permissions for users as well as library staff, editors, and contributors to the archive. I also like the integrations with Socialie to automate sending imagery to publishers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

What I dislike most about PhotoShelter for Brands is the limited storage space. I also do not like being able to store xmp files alongside my RAW files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A comprehensive photography asset management tool"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PhotoShelter for Brands?

Photoshelter is a great platform for storing, organizing, and sharing your organization's images. We use it on a daily basis. I love how responsive the customer service is. I always talk to a real person and have specific people that I consistently interact with. They always invite feedback on user experience and even try their best to implement changes I've requested. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoShelter for Brands?

The implementation of sales is lackluster and not intuitive - it feels like an afterthought. I wish there were customizable templates for messages sent through Photoshelter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
