"PhotoScape: Easy & Fast Editor"

What do you like best about PhotoScape X?

There are numerous things for which Photoscape is my go-to editing software for any quick tweaks to the image. Unlike other editing software, PhotoScape provides a minimal set of tools required to adjust the image ranging from brightness, contrast, or sharpness. The auto adjustment tools of level and contrast offer quite a decent finish to the picture. Another good feature is a 6 set of filters with three levels (low, middle, and high) and different one-click edits such as crystallizing, newsprint, pictorialization, and many more. As an editor for quick edits, you should check out this software. Additionally, you can add different objects such as text and images and crop with different shapes and sizes. What do you dislike about PhotoScape X?

There aren't many downfalls of PhotoScape. But as photo-editing software, PhotoScape may choose to bring out the features to select and crop manually by the borders (like lasso select) soon. The current software doesn't allow that, and due to this, I sometimes switch to GIMP or Photoshop, where I need to select a specific portion of an image. Since most of the features are on auto level, it is a problem to fine-tune or adjust the image to our choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering PhotoScape X:

If you are new to editing and you don't want to spend much time learning software like Photoshop or GIMP but get your work done, Photoscape would be a great help to you. Very easy to use, has a minimal set of necessary tools, has a clean UI, and saves a lot of time. Great for making quick collages, cover pages, or even a greeting card for your next Christmas. What problems is PhotoScape X solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use PhotoScape to edit passport-sized photos, or to reduce image size or ratio, to design collages for occasions, to design the cover page for projects, any quick manipulation with an image. The benefit that I have realized is that Photoscape is a very easy-to-use software; anyone without prior knowledge of editing can use the software to get their work done. It is very fast since you can work with most of the features with one click. The UI is simple and not clumsy that can overwhelm a beginner. If you are new to editing and want to get your work done quickly and not deep dive into editing, Photoscape can be your buddy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"So Easy to Use!"

What do you like best about PhotoScape X?

I can very easily create a graphic for a slideshow or Instagram without having to navigate complicated menus. The program is very intuitive, and for someone like me not well-versed in graphic design, it is much easier to use than Photoshop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoScape X?

There doesn't seem to be an option to crop a photo that you are using as part of your graphic after you've placed it in your graphic. You also have to put text on a blank background before you can add images onto it, otherwise it assumes you just want to replace the background with the image. These are both very minor issues. What do you like best about PhotoScape X?

Great features as compared to other software paid software available in the market, and another good thing is it is easy to use no master knowledge is required, unlike other software it provides minimal and easy to use user interface. We have a lot of clients that will take photos of medical records or other evidence in their case. Usually, as I'm sure you may know, those photos are unleveled, dark, some what blurry etc. The Photoscape X software provides so many useful features that it is only a rare occurance when I cannot take a client uploaded photo and turn it into something legible that can even be faxed with great clarity. What do you like best about PhotoScape X?

It is intuitive and offers many useful features that other software of its kind do not have readily available. I like to use it to prepare photos for social media.
