I love the ability to resize images, do animation, add filters, crop, etc. I like also like the screenshot ability on it as well as the image converter option. Photoshop is expensive, and GIMP has always had too steep a learning curve for me. Photoscape is perfect for me when I need to quickly compose an image for a blog article, for example. It is not as sophisticated as Photoshop but it does most of what I need and is much lighter and does not cause my laptop to crash every other minute.
