Plus the ability to share photos easily across devices and platforms with one simple log in is fantastic. I also like being able to share albums with other individuals without space/storage issues. **What do you dislike about Photos?** There isn't much to it compared to other similar programs. It can be difficult to control the auto-update features. Sometimes I'll delete photos from one device, and they'll show up again later on another which can be frustrating. I've also encoutered issues with sharing these types of links and/or files with apple/imac users. **Recommendations to others considering Photos:** I recommend trying it out and seeing if it suits your business needs. It provides generous amounts of storage and functionability for being a free/low cost program. With a few minor improvements or tweaks, I think google photos would be the top photo hosting/sharing platform in the market. **What problems is Photos solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have to send mass photo files often, and this allows us to do so without worrying about file sizes easily. As a travel agent, we often have to supply cilents with a list of photos for different vacation homes/hotels, so beign able to generate different albums per unit and easily send them it super helpful. ### 2. You will have to go back and edit it in the video and change the recording speed at the part that you want. It's easy to send to others and upload to the web. I have been using the print option more. You would get a reminder about how you was your same day last year. You could see a very well segregated folder view. There is some feature you will indeed observe in new IOS release like a few full view and new more editing tools. 'For You' Tab will always surprise you with some moment you cherished in the past. Now I don't need to worry about going to some video tool for creating a video for some set of photos. There are so many editing options again it eliminates the need to download another software. With IOS 14 above, There is a small window for the image at the home screen that flashes your memory. This looks amazing. ### 9. It's very basic and I also don't like how the albums work. I'd rather create one album and just share it or not share it instead. It took me a few times before I began remembering that if I want to share it then I have to put it in a shared album. For larger editing projects, I use Canva. I wish there was an easier way to access these photos. The way the system uses an automated way to batch grab all the photos and turns them into a smaller file really helps me save space on my iPhone device. I also love the organization the program offers. You can section your album by year, month, and even down to the days, which makes searching through your albums easier. Additionally, I love how they integrated touch controls allowing the user to be able to pinch out and in which enlarges or shrinks the search window and can help you shuffle large amounts of photos. **What do you dislike about Photos?** I hate how there isn't an easier way to access your photos on other devices that do not run on iOS. I am currently on windows 10, and it's incredibly tedious to share photos since everything runs on Apple's proprietary software and isn't homogenous across the board. When receiving a shared link, you must add all the photos onto your cloud, and I usually get an error message informing me that there isn't enough space on my iCloud. I wish I could just view the photos and be able to access and download what I need without having to add them onto my iCloud. iCloud is also very expensive comparatively. I have purchased windows 360 and you are able to get 2TB with that package which makes iCloud a second choice as I am a windows 10 user. **What problems is Photos solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am using photos to save all my photos off my camera roll and onto my icloud and using the app to shink the size of all the photos I have saved over the year to be able to have enough storage on my iPhone. ### 44. I also love the featured photos widget added to the most recent iOS update. It resurfaces photos I completely forgot, and definitely learns what I want to see more or less of. **What do you dislike about Photos?** I have found some search keywords that seemed obvious to include, but it was unable to perform. Ring, for example, found no results. I wish there was also a way to move things out of your general/recents folder. You can duplicate to a folder, but the original remains in the general list. Honestly, there's very little that I dislike. **Recommendations to others considering Photos:** If you are already integrated with the Apple line, you'd be wasting time using anything other than Photos. It's integrated into the Mac OS, so there's no additional cost or subscription fee to use this software. It's somewhat extensible, meaning there are several photo editing apps (Luminar, Luminar AI, Aurora HDR, Pixelmator) that you can access natively within Photos to extend your image editing capabilities. Direct cloud sync with iCloud allows you to seamlessly access your images across devices. (be sure to upgrade your iCloud storage to be able to best take advantage of this feature as Apple only provides 5GB for free. **What do you dislike about Photos?** Photos can get sluggish if you have tens of thousands of images to load.
