Within minutes you can have your account up and running. The photo uploads are quick and easy. It is also easy to generate a link. In addition, there is an option to edit your images in Photobucket. I don't know many other storage solutions that allow you to edit within them. For those who don't have other image editing software, I imagine this would be a huge benefit. There is also a slideshow feature which I think would be pretty beneficial to some users. You can also upgrade your storage size, so regardless of budget, you're able to quickly and efficiently open a Photobucket account. **What do you dislike about Photobucket?** I don't feel like Photobucket is appropriate for professional use. The interface is not as organized as I would like. You can order prints directly from them, but the file quality would not be the professional print quality my clients would expect. The print quality would be sutiable for amateur or student photographers however. For a photography business starting out looking for a quick solution, it would work well in a pinch. For someone looking to come off as an industry professional, I would not recommend it. **Recommendations to others considering Photobucket:** I recommend using it if you have a small number of personal photos to store. I would also recommend it to those who don't have another way to edit images. Other than that, I would recommend a more professional photo storage solution such as Dropbox. **What problems is Photobucket solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use it to sort and store personal photos and personal photo archives. I do find it pleasant to keep personal images separated from my client images. For anyone dealing with a large number of images, you know how vital file organization and separation are. In terms of business, it is hard for me to solve significant storage problems with just Photobucket. I do use it in a pinch if my other storage solutions are down. I also like to backup my files to many different storage systems, so having Photobucket as a backup is vital. ### 5. Unlike Dropbox there is tons of space for storage. There are so many great features of Photobucket, one of my favorites being the ability to use their print service. It's solved my problem with storage, as I do not have to pay expensive cost to store a large bandwidth of media. Before I thought about coming back to use Photobucket to share images and projects with clients, I was using Google to share. It was a hit or miss on whether Google would let my clients view the folder. It also offers a range of printing services based on hosted images. The site is fairly quick and uncluttered. Its printing services are easy to view and browse through. The site is not fancy but this can be a good thing without an abundance of ads or services offered. The photos displayed are shown without too much compression or down-scaling which helps make them stand out for others to see. Other services tend to compress any hosted images to an extreme end, limiting their attractiveness for clients. **What do you dislike about Photobucket?** Overall Photobucket is fairly limited when compared to similiar services. it doesn't really offer any advanced editing services and the storage limits are fairly low for today's high megapixel photos. Paid options relatively cheap, but adds up due to monthly charge. **What problems is Photobucket solving and how is that benefiting you?** Allows for quick sharing of photos with other physicians such as consultations for a dermatologic problem. Also, taking successive photos allows for monitoring of disease progression or improvement. ### 33.
