"Great for academic research & great customer service!"
5/5
What do you like best about Phonic?

I love how versatile Phonic is. I have been able to embed Phonic surveys and recorders into a Qualtrics survey for my research. It’s very easy to use and the Phonic documents lay everything out for you. The customer service is unparalleled! They respond to email so quickly, fix problems and troubleshoot code, and take suggestions seriously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Phonic?

I wish there were more question types and options to customize question formats so that I didn’t need to embed Phonic into Qualtrics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Nice tool for audio analysis"
5/5
What do you like best about Phonic?

1. Ease of use

2. Technical support

3. Accuracy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Phonic?

Not dislike, but there is room for improvement for the dashboard design. Some buttons are difficult to find, and the design is not intuitive enough. I also wish that there could be ways to let users customize the analysis. It would also be good if Phonic can show the robustness of the analysis for citation purposes. "Great for language research"
5/5
What do you like best about Phonic?

I like how easy the user interface is and the question options offered to users. It is also great that it allows integration to other survey platforms such as Qualtrics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Phonic?

I had to manually add JavaScript code in addition to the Qualtrics integration code to each of my Qualtrics question to be able to integrate Phonic.ai audio items to my existing Qualtrics. It was a bit time consuming and tedious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Best Audio Survey Tool Out There"
5/5
What do you like best about Phonic?

Phonic is easy to set up and get started - it's very straightforward and simple. Within 10-15 minutes, you can have a full-blown survey ready to go. At our company, we used Phonic to elicit authentic language-use across several different languages to build mini corpora to ultimately help us develop a task-based curriculum.

Another notable plus: No login required to take a survey! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Phonic?

There was nothing that we particularly disliked other than my team never figured out how to utilize "Groups" and/or group surveys by category or ownership. However, this ended up not causing us any trouble since the interface in Phonic is smooth and easily navigable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Potential Platform for Usability Testing"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Phonic?

The design of the platform is simple and intuitive. I've used some other survey platforms like Quatrics and SurveyMonkey. I found similarities between Phonics and other survey platforms. This helps me to be able to set up a survey quickly. What attracted me to try Phonic is of course its ability to collect audio recordings, which is great for a usability study that usually requires the participants to think aloud. I was also aware of that there are some other formats of responses that Phonic supports. In my opinion, this increase the possibility for a wider variety of survey design. Unfortunately, I did not use Phonic to distribute my survey because I was limited by the 10 question quota of free account. But I was certainly impressed by Phonic and would love to give it try next time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Phonic?

Should give free account users more question quotas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
