What do you like best about PhishingBox?

Ability to have more phishing templates and lots of phishing training campaigns. Plus the dashboard had alot of features that I can easily manage my campaigns and view reports etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhishingBox?

Sometimes adding new template and tweaking the features or adding a new domain name can take sometimes.but other than that I don't have anything that I don't like all the other featuresare great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Mostly Great"
3.5/5
What do you like best about PhishingBox?

The provided phishing templates are a great help in getting tests/campaigns ready to start. It is a huge time saver to not have to generate these on my own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhishingBox?

I strongly dislike that there are campaigns and tests, when you can't add tests to campaigns. In an ideal world, I would be able to make a campaign, then add tests to it so all of my testing can be read in one summary data chart - which would allow us to more easily track changes over a quarter or year, and more easily flag any repeated failures.

Using recurring tests is one way to get a similar effect, but if we want to make changes to the templates or targets, then we're out of luck and have to create something entirely new. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Alex Risen of PhishingBox

Thank you for your feedback. Our product development and management teams are always looking for specific insight and use cases to help advance and optimize the user experience.

"Fairly priced, high quality phishing simulation and infosec training make PhishingBox a solid choice"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PhishingBox?

Their phishing simulation offerings are numerous and very easy to use. Adding targets is a snap, and the overall process is very simple. They have tons of domains to choose from, with more added seemingly all the time, and their phishing sim emails are very well-crafted. They have very granular choices for when people view or click on the fake phish emails, and their campaign builder is top-notch. There are a lot of pluses for PhishingBox, and overall I'm happy with my decision to use them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhishingBox?

The user administration when removing users could use work - there's no way to delete users except one-by-one or by adding them to a group to then delete. I assume this is on purpose, but it's kinda wonky deleting users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Alex Risen of PhishingBox

We appreciate you taking the time to provide valuable user insight and will provide our product team with your input!

"Effective phishing and training tool for third party pen testers"
5/5
What do you like best about PhishingBox?

PhishingBox was one of very few marketing emails I have responded to in 18 years of IT Audit and penetration testing. Before PB, I had to create disposable email accounts or set up an internal server-- a complicated and timely process with costs I had to pass through to clients. When other phishing tools focused on internal emails within one compnay, PhishingBox met a unique and valuable need in the market.

For us, the ease of use and ability to send phishing email campaigns to clients is why we always return as customers. Tests can be delegated to other members of the team, we can provide clients with real examples of the phish we intend to use, the quality of reporting improves all the time, including reduction of false positives.

Customer support is always timely and helpful. Documentation is readily available. Training and phishing templates are plentify and completely customizable. We can use a predefined templates or, if we come up with a great phishing scenario, can write it ourselves without much additional effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhishingBox?

Our biggest challenge is circumventing spam filters to get phishing emails into the inboxes of our clients. We try to minimize their effort, but spam filters are getting better. Don't know how much PB can do to resolve that challenge though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Alex Risen of PhishingBox

Thank you for the detailed insight, Bryan! Provider and third-party filters are improving, but with phishing on the rise, attacks are still making their way to inboxes worldwide. Our domains can be flagged when end users report them directly to providers and can impact deliverability. Our team is actively adding new domains and clearing ones flagged. If you're looking for a specific domain for a given campaign, let us know and we can add to the list!

Kassidy, our reporting system does track opens and clicks. Give us a shout and our support team can walk you through where that information is located if it's not showing up on your account. You can filter by failure within the campaign creator for a specific campaign and send a follow-up campaign to only those who failed. Our support team can also walk you through that.

"Good functional phishing simulator"
4/5
What do you like best about PhishingBox?

Premade templates for phishing tests are very helpful, as is the ability to sync user accounts with active directory. Campaigns are easy to create and the repoprting is clear and easy to digest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhishingBox?

The outlook/exchange addin that is supposed to allow end users to report phishing emails via a button does not seem to work properly. We were unable to get it installed in 64bit outlook and phishing box support was unable to determine why we were expericing errors. This would have been a very helpful feature so it is very disappointing that it is not functional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Alex Risen of PhishingBox

Jacob, please contact your account executive directly or reach out in the portal via the chat function and our team will review the case to get things operational if you're still experiencing problems with the plug-in.

It has excellent simulations to test employees in a controlled Phishing Attack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
