There are times where I might get 10-20 in a day, and instead of having to go through each one manually via Outlook, I can get through all of them in a minute or two. Also, having the ability to scan your Office 365 for an email sent in and then quarantine it has proved extremely useful. **What do you dislike about KnowBe4 PhishER/PhishER Plus?** The only thing I can say is the AI sometimes misses emails and flags them as Unknown. I'm sure there's a way I can tweak the settings so I don't have to manually resolve emails. This allows the IT team to focus on other tasks. Integration of VirusTotal to scan reported attachments to aid in the determination of threat mailboxes is definately a plus. Combined with the ability to easily query all mailboxes and know if a particular message has been opened and what folder it was located, Quarntine it, then if needed delete all copies has been a lifesaver already. **What do you dislike about KnowBe4 PhishER/PhishER Plus?** PhishER can be A bit tedious to configure, the rules need to be written in yara which can be annoying. However, there are some useful online groups that can provide basic guides and rule templates. Having said that, KnowBe4 makes that available weekly for free. Kudos to the team that works there for that. The product makes recommendations based upon the likelihood that an email is a phishing scam and then allows our team to deal with the issue quickly. I also like that PhishER constantly gets better at identifying emails that could be a possible threat based upon how we tag the emails that are pulled. Once we identify an email as a phishing scam, we can remove that email from other accounts across the organization quickly and easily. **What do you dislike about KnowBe4 PhishER/PhishER Plus?** PhishER is a new product for our organization this year, and we have not found a negative aspect to it. The dashboard interface is very intuitive and straightforward to use, and the features are apparent. **What problems is KnowBe4 PhishER/PhishER Plus solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a K-12 school district, our employees receive a wide variety of phishing attempts. Our IT staff spend a great deal of time chasing down reported phishing scams. We love that drilling down to the details is as simple as clicking on an icon. The "inbox" is where our administrators primarily work out of as they quickly and easily evaluate all of the reported phishing emails. The implementation team was extremely supportive and eager to see our onboarding be a success, and because of them it was! After onboarding, any question we submitted to support via email was taken care of very promptly, and it always included links to related FAQs or knowledgebase articles. Speaking of those articles, they have crisp and clean write-ups for nearly every situation, complete with screen shots and step-by-step instructions that any engineer can follow. The key to PhishER is the Phish Alert Button (PAB) and deploying that to the user community was straightforward and easy. We quickly had it deployed to O365 for both the web interface (thin client) and Outlook on the desktop (thick client). Add in the ability to automatically remove phishing emails from all mailboxes, and that is where the magic really happens! **What do you dislike about KnowBe4 PhishER/PhishER Plus?** Having a separate portal for the training & phishing testing vs the PhishER portal is cumbersome from an administrative perspective. These should be integrated in more ways than just a single link hidden under the username profile menu pull-down. It is akin to finding a needle in a haystack. The placement of the Phish Alert button in the Outlook web interface was changing as we implmented which made it very confusing for our users. While this may not have been KnowBe4's issue, it was not brought up that Microsoft could impact that placement. For PhishER to be effective, you must have user participation, and with that training is needed for your users. The administrator training skipped over that very important item, and it only came up after we were down the road of deploying it to our user community. This solution is "post inbox delivery". In other words, it is not a filter between the internet and your user's inboxes. This tool is focused on "post delivery" remediation. **Recommendations to others considering KnowBe4 PhishER/PhishER Plus:** Work closely with the implementation engineer. PhishER is not a complex product to deploy, and they know the process far better than anyone else. Communication to your end-users is critical to your success, so build that into your plan. Do not rush. Include in your plan training the administrators on effectively using the PhishER system as users begin reporting messages. **What problems is KnowBe4 PhishER/PhishER Plus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our small organization was getting a large number of phishing emails. Our employees are excellent at spotting malicious messages, the reporting and remediation process we had in place was disorganized and inefficient. This way users can submit emails they think are malicious, KnowBe4 examines the email and lists if it is Clean, Spam or Threat. You get notified, and you have the ability to look at the email and resolve it, which helps with the Machine Learning. Also with PhishRip & PhishFlip, you can remove all other emails that came in from you server with PhishRip so no one else will fall prey, or you can PhishFlip the email, which defangs the email, leaves it in the other users' mailboxes and treats it as a Phishing Test email using a real-world Phish. It is great. **What do you dislike about KnowBe4 PhishER/PhishER Plus?** You cannot use it in Outlook Mobile unless you are running Exchange Server 2016 in Hybrid mode or O365. We are still running Exchange 2013 and therefore all of our mobile only users do not have access to the PAB, I whish they had included Exchange 2013 as well. **Recommendations to others considering KnowBe4 PhishER/PhishER Plus:** With the huge increase of Ransomware and Phish attacks, you need to train your users how to spot Phishing Emails, and PhishER is part of this process to help stem the tide of malicious emails. Well worth the investment. **What problems is KnowBe4 PhishER/PhishER Plus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Users can submit a suspect email without them calling me or emailing me and asking what to do. This has saved me an immense amount of time, and empowers the user. Also if it is Clean, you can have the system email the user back (if you so choose) to tell them the email is clean, without you having to do it. If it is Spam, you can also send the users an email stating it was Spam, and ask them to block it using their email program. These items being automated helps better protect the company. ### 31. I was able to setup a campaign with help but it could be a bit more intuitive. I also think the way to add single users to the system is a bit strange with an import option that requires one line of text or a one line CSV. And then the user must be edited to add their full name and manager's email/name if using the single line import. I especially like the rules that can be set up to scan and report based on customized filters automatically. Further, we can use reporting features to help strengthen our anti-spam filters. It is obvious that they have gone thru their software from an end user perspective and have worked hard to make sure that most questions and issues are already forseen and anticipated. **What do you dislike about KnowBe4 PhishER/PhishER Plus?** We recently ran thru the first phishing campaign to establish our baseline, and while I liked the campaign in general, it seemed like so many dropped in the first few days; it was evident to the user community that something was going on...so maybe that could be done a little bit better. That seems quite nit-picking, but it reflects that I have found very little that I dislike about the product. **What problems is KnowBe4 PhishER/PhishER Plus solving and how is that benefiting you?** The primary problem we are solving is to establish metrics that are measurable and reportable. We have done security-based training in the past, but determining baselines and getting a report out on that is excellent.
