The registration worked well also and I lived the corospondense with attendees. **What do you dislike about PheedLoop?** I felt that the pricing needed to be more transparent. It was confusing that you could purchase off the dashboard and also get a separate invoice. When you looked at your total purchases on your dashboard the invoices ones never showed. I wanted a representative from pheedLoop to be assigned to our account. I wanted the rep to be available to help us individually with training as a group. (I would have paid extra for that) I would not purchase tech suppoort again. When we emailed about an issue the same answer came back to "refresh and restart" when we were live with speakers I wanted a pheedLoop rep to be with us backstage. We felt unsupported from pheedLoop during our meet & streams. **Recommendations to others considering PheedLoop:** Leave your team lots of set up time. Go to the daily support meetings. You will eventually need all purchase modules. For budget purposes I would add on all pheedLoop features. Implementing the system was fast and easy and I liked that we were able to update the event ourselves. The Attendees loved the design of the platform and really enjoyed the gamification. Pheedloop admins can turn on several features to enhance the end-user experience; for example, the gamification, virtual lobby, chat boxes, and photo booth are among a few. I thought it was nice to have pre-roll videos playing on every session page to advertise various aspects of the event. **What do you dislike about PheedLoop?** The Pheedloop platform is not as seamless as it appears to be. It is frustrating for speakers to have to open Pheedloop for the chat and be in Zoom; it means them needing multiple windows open to engage with their audience. The Pheedloop Meet function is not as great as Zoom, especially in the exhibit hall because it removes an attendee's virtual background. Additionally, it is cumbersome to re-upload all of the video recordings post-event; some platforms do this automatically. **Recommendations to others considering PheedLoop:** Have a few smaller test events before you do a large one. **What problems is PheedLoop solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pheedloop allows my team to host larger virtual conferences with multiple concurrent sessions. It will enable us to manage a significant number of speakers and attendees in one simple-to-use platform. One of the tremendous benefits of the platform is the price point. We like how the registration process can be a one-touch process for attendees. We also like how easy it is for people to navigate the virtual platform. **What do you dislike about PheedLoop?** not as intuitive as we would like. Set up is very time-consuming and is still a little clunky. We also don't like how things don't transfer from one event to the next. Also, things get confused between events if you have multiple events running. The online exhibit hall was really clunky when we used it back in September. **Recommendations to others considering PheedLoop:** Pheedloop is a great one-stop shop. The people who work for Pheedloop are great to work with and they are very flexible and responsive to suggestions. However, they are "newer" and some of the features are still being refined. But the good thing about a newer company is that they still want to grow and change. We have found this to be the case with Pheedloop. **What problems is PheedLoop solving and how is that benefiting you?** Registration and Registration management. Registration payments and management of payments. RFP process flows into scheduling - love how that process is a one-touch for our presenters. Skipping past the things you like about PheedLoop (it's great that there are many!), focusing on the dislikes ... there really should be no scenario in which running multiple event settings should overlap, they're completely different instances in our database. Maybe there's a misunderstanding we can help clarify? As for the intuitiveness, is there a particular aspect that didn't meet the mark? Based on what you wrote you like best, it seems you did found things streamlined and easy to navigate. Maybe a quick call would help us better understand how to improve things. We put codes everywhere - in sessions, notifications, expo booths, etc. It was a great way to keep attendees engaged throughout the event. I also liked how easy it was to communicate with attendees - we used PheedLoop's email announcements, notifications, and all the chat windows. Overall, the platform is easy to navigate and all of our sessions ran very smoothly. **What do you dislike about PheedLoop?** The only issue we had was upfront with registrations. A few of our attendees would add their payment information and try to register, but they received an error message that their registration did not go through, but the charge showed up as pending on their account. While the pending charge did go away after a few days, this was frustrating for us and for our attendees. I'm still not sure if this was an issue with Stripe or an issue with PheedLoop. **Recommendations to others considering PheedLoop:** If you're looking for a platform that's budget-friendly, easy-to-use, and attendee-friendly, I would highly recommend PheedLoop. The customizeability has been unparrelled for us to adapt the platform to our needs. The response time for customer service is good, and regular open office hours are helpful. If often takes much back and forth to resolve actual bugs in platform (i.e. proving that it's the platform's issue and not me!), but that's not unrealistic. **What do you dislike about PheedLoop?** The pricing! Just to enable Q&A there was an additional cost of $950 per event. Lots of additional charges like this. It only took a few days to gain the skills to set up events. In general, our attendees found the program easy to use as well. The pre-roll videos are a nice feature and were an upsell to our vendors/sponsors. You guys do offer a lot of video/tutorial support, which we used to educate our users too. **What do you dislike about PheedLoop?** The networking section is a tricky for attendees. When they get a chat alert, then have to navigate to the networking tab, it seems to confuse them. We ran into some issues like the scavenger hunt words resetting or erasing when vendor booths were edited, which required extra work. Some extra report pulling options, like people who participate in vendor JOIN LIVE sessions, would be nice. They like to have feedback on who was seeing their demonstrations. **Recommendations to others considering PheedLoop:** PheedLoop is overall an effective event program. Do plan to spend a lot of time training your attendees and exhibitors how to use it. Even though it is intuitive, a lot of people still get confused! **What problems is PheedLoop solving and how is that benefiting you?** Due to COVID, we were forced to move our event to a virtual setting. PheedLoop allowed us to host the event and still have vendors. While our attendees missed in-person, we realized the virtual event opened doors to people who normally could not attend. Time and travel expenses are a concern for any business, and our clients spent less money to attend, so we actually had some newer attendees that normally could not come. **Official Response from George Wong:** > Thanks for the detailed and honest review! The scavenger hunt sounds like something custom, codes don't connect directly to booths so if you included them in the exhibitor's description and deleted the exhibitor, the exhibitor would disappear but not the actual code. Lack of offering recorded lectures followed by live Q & A after session. Needed to use a Zoom link to go out to do the live Q & A. **What problems is PheedLoop solving and how is that benefiting you?** moving conference to a virtual platform is not what we anticipated but worked out in 2020. ### 24. The only deception is the networking feature that doesn't work for all attendees **What problems is PheedLoop solving and how is that benefiting you?** Regrouping bunch of zoom session in one place which make it easier for event attendees. Provides a 'home' for virtual events. A wide amount of customization. Always growing and adding new features largely based on feedback from users. *This is a “sponsored post.” The company who sponsored it compensated me via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value to write it. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.” **What do you dislike about PheedLoop?** With customization comes complexity and that can be difficult for the less than tech savvy. Support is incredible given the number of their staff. Emails are answered within 24hrs and enhanced support is available for a fee. I use support alot, which perhaps goes to show the complexities. Must provide your own presentation/video feed (ie Zoom, Click Meetings, etc). **What problems is PheedLoop solving and how is that benefiting you?** Without the ability to hold in person events, Pheedloop provides a good alternative at a fair and reasonable price ### 29.
