Fully integrated set of tools for development: task tracker, pre- and post-commit code review, repository management, CI integration, chat, scheduling tools, wiki, project management tools, paste, graphics review tools, and many other helpful features. While all the features may look overwhelming at first, the Dashboard tool and extensive setting controls allow you to select, integrate, and display only those features you need. Feature requests are prioritized only for paying clients; self-hosted clients don't have the same influence over the project. Phabricator is really easy to navigate around to find code and compare with historical changes that have been made. The website layout is also simple and effective to use. The benefits of phabricator for us is that we can keep track of all the changes the have been made to different branches. Using those changes to review the code of other developers and raise any concerns. Further more phabricator paired with jira further helps us take in account changes made to specific tickets. ARC insist on manipulating your commit messages, squashes commits, is unable to submit a series of commits ... Any sane review tool should be able to handle a patch series. I'm the biggest fan of the easy installation on the self-hosted version. There is simply no hassle. The second best is the code review part and the task management. You can create a wiki to create pages to create help manuals and documentation for team mates. You can have code reviews linked into projects. You can see file and text comparisons between git commits. Creating bug fixes or feature requests are simple and can be prioritized and assigned. New comments or changes will send email alerts so all team members can see the progress. The search capability could be improved, and there isn't a way to prioritize by milestone dates so it is difficult to know which high priority project needs to be completed first. What problems is Phabricator solving and how is that benefiting you? Mostly used for bug fixes, feature requests, or to bounce around ideas. This has allowed us to reduce meetings, and we can all show up to meetings prepared because everyone is informed already of the changes.
