"Superbb Client for Postgresql Server"
What do you like best about pgAdmin?

PG admin is an awsome client for Postgresql DBMS. You can group server and databases as per your requirements. You can open any number of sql query windows to improve your speed. Also sorting and filtering functions work very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pgAdmin?

The only issue i found in Pgadmin is that, when your internet connection is not stable or you are once disconnected from server, all open query windows will be closed, which might result in loss of useful queries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about pgAdmin?

Access to postgresql database servers, visualization of all objects in a database, panel to execute SQL statements, backup and restoration of any database object, data visualization, import and export of data from a database database of databases, to other formats, creation of users, roles and privileges to the objects, allows the monitoring of the connected users, as well as the queries that are executed, the locks, providing an online log of all the database activities Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pgAdmin?

I would like to include a monitoring of the spaces of the databases and that the sending of alerts to the DBAs can be configured in order to reduce the risks of lowering the service to the clients, however the tool has worked perfectly for us during several years, there is always a renewal of the version by the administration community of pgAdmin with improvements and new facilities, there is the version for installation on machines with debian operating systems, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Tools: Powerful query tool with colour syntax highlighting, fast datagrid for display/entry of data, graphical query plan display, grant Wizard for rapid updates to ACLs and supporting pl/pgsql and edb-spl

What do you dislike about pgAdmin?

- The windows animations slow thing's down to much.

- It's a single window application and it doesn't allow me to drag windows

around on my desktop, hide the windows I don't need etc.

- Some screens appear slow to me with a 'loading' icon, even without the windows it takes took long to 'draw' the screen. Where in pgAdmin 3 a lot of items are near instance, in pgAdmin4 it takes time to display.

- Clicking on a table in the tree doesnt do anything in pgAdmin4, in pgAdmin3 it shows me the table definition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
