This allows you to trigger the activity based on a variety of behavior activities (ie fills out form) or data value changes (ie: new customer). **What do you dislike about PFL Direct Mail Platform?** I dislike needing to create a new webhook for each new direct mail program. Ideally, one webhook needs to be created with all potential fields that should pass through via the webhook. Needing to create a new webhook for each direct mail program was a mundane task that seemed like it could be avoided. There was no easy to see the proof of delivery/output without working directly with the CSM. It seems like there should be a way to view the proof of output after a submission is made with the pfl command center to confirm the information renders on the printed piece / direct mail as expected. **What problems is PFL Direct Mail Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** PFL Tactile Marketing Automation introduced us to a world of automating our direct mail programs. While the items I disliked were not ideal, they still helped us be a lot less manual and more automated with sending direct mail to prospects and customers. The benefits include automation, automation, automation. Once you are all set-up with a direct mail send, there's no additional work you need to do. ### 2. We were able to setup our sales team with direct mail programs and automate the production, shipping, and measurement. The software is really great for giving control to sales for what to send to whom and when, along with triggering for follow up (specifically the Fedex and Salesforce integration). We liked the personalized cards that could go in each box. **What do you dislike about PFL Direct Mail Platform?** PFL is a print shop first, technology company second. Their software works most of the time, but it's definitely not a software company. Also, there's a lot of setup and production involved in creating new boxes. We're able to trigger alerts and tasks to our sales team as shipments are successfully delivered to the recipient. It makes it easier to add direct mail as a part of an integrated campaign program. **What do you dislike about PFL Direct Mail Platform?** There is a lot of work involved to set up programs with the vendor. We tend to use the platform for one off campaigns as opposed to repeat/continuous programs, which is how I think the platform would work best to automate programs like onboarding for example. **Recommendations to others considering PFL Direct Mail Platform:** Be prepared for a long onboarding process. **What problems is PFL Direct Mail Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Better visibility into how our direct mail programs are performing. Up-to-date info on delivery that allows us to trigger tasks for the sales team to follow up and act. The technical integration between PFL and marketo works really well and it's very easy to set up trigger campaigns to fire direct mail automatically. **What do you dislike about PFL Direct Mail Platform?** If your Salesforce data is inaccurate, it can make mail automation challenging/impossible. Instead, you should be prepared to send through orders via batches and lists. **What problems is PFL Direct Mail Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** PFl allows us to send direct mail at scale, helping us build and improve relationships with customers and prospects.
