"The Swiss Army Knife of Video Interoperability"
What do you like best about Pexip?

I like that Pexip acts as the 'Swiss Army Knife' of interoperability, serving as the glue that holds a fragmented tech stack together. I appreciate how it allows high-end Cisco or Poly room systems to join a Microsoft Teams or Google Meet call with a single tap, removing the 'walled garden' frustration that usually comes with enterprise hardware. The Cloud Video Interop (CVI) for Teams and Google Meet is especially valuable as it lets traditional room systems join calls as if they were native devices. I find it beneficial that I don't have to replace expensive legacy hardware just because my company migrated to Teams or Google Workspace. I also like that participants in the room get a 'Teams-like' or 'Meet-like' layout, while remote users see the room system as just another high-quality participant. Additionally, I found the initial setup of Pexip very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pexip?

The 'Hidden' Complexity (The Learning Curve) because Pexip is so flexible—offering self-hosted, cloud, and hybrid deployments—the initial setup and management are significantly more complex than 'plug-and-play' rivals like Zoom or Google Meet. Admins often face a steep learning curve regarding server configuration and licensing. Users have suggested more streamlined documentation and better 'out-of-the-box' presets for non-technical managers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Bridges Platforms Seamlessly, But Setup Challenges"
What do you like best about Pexip?

I use Pexip mainly to bridge the gap between different meeting platforms, and it's my go-to for joining Microsoft Teams or Google Meet calls from our high-end Cisco conference room hardware without any compatibility headaches. It solves the interoperability nightmare by eliminating technical friction, like the "can you hear me?" or "I can't see the screen" issues that usually waste the first ten minutes of a meeting. One of the best things is the One-Touch Join feature. It's a lifesaver to walk into a room and just hit a single button on the touch panel to start the meeting, regardless of whether it's hosted on Teams, Zoom, or Meet. This feature basically removes the "tech anxiety" for my team since they only have to see the meeting name and tap, saving at least 5 minutes of setup time every single call, which adds up fast across the whole office. What do you dislike about Pexip?

While the core functionality is solid, the initial setup and configuration can be a bit of a steep learning curve. It's definitely not a 'plug-and-play' solution for someone without a solid IT background; you really need to know your way around network settings and video infrastructure to get it running perfectly. The initial setup felt a bit like putting together a complex puzzle without the picture on the box. We ran into some hurdles with firewall configurations and certificate management, which required a lot of back-and-forth between our network team and the Pexip documentation. It definitely expects you to have a high level of technical expertise right out of the gate. It's not exactly a walk in the park at first. I definitely hit a few speed bumps during the initial setup–it's the kind of software that expects you to know your way around network configurations and certificates right out of the gate. There were definitely moments where I was staring at the documentation wondering if I'd missed a step. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Compliance with Region-Locked Cloud Nodes"
What do you like best about Pexip?

I really appreciate Pexip’s region-locked cloud nodes and native GDPR/PDPA compliance, which is a game-changer for our US team. The geographically distributed cloud node infrastructure is crucial, eliminating compliance risks and manual work that troubled us with other tools. The initial setup was streamlined and enterprise-focused, which helped our US-led global team easily manage EU, APAC, and US regions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pexip?

I find the cumbersome multi-region node/access setup a bit challenging. To host a global event with region-optimized nodes, our US team has to create separate Pexip event links for each region and manually share them via Convay/EU/APAC channels. There’s no 'one-click global event' creator that auto-assigns regional nodes, generates region-specific links, and centralizes registration, which adds 1–2 hours of setup time per global event. "Robust Security and Interoperability with Slightly Steep Learning"
What do you like best about Pexip?

I like Pexip's strong security, which makes our meetings safer, and I appreciate its seamless integration with other video platforms. The consistent call quality, even in large meetings, is impressive. Using Pexip with tools like Microsoft Teams and other standard video conferencing platforms has improved our interoperability and collaboration. It's a strong, secure platform with great interoperability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pexip?

I think the interface could be more intuitive, and there’s room to improve ease of setup and simplify advanced configuration options. They could streamline the dashboard with clearer navigation, reduce the number of steps for common tasks, add guided setup wizards, and provide more in-app tips or presets to make advanced configurations easier for non-technical users. "Versatile Meetings, Needs Friendlier Interface"
What do you like best about Pexip?

I use Pexip to hold virtual meetings with my clients and video calls with my team members. It solves most of my problems due to travel and distance and communication gaps. I really like its ability to join meetings using different platforms with my various clients. Pexip stands out in comparison to other software, and my team has switched to it from other products because of the user-friendly environment that was missing in apps like Microsoft Teams and Zoom. I am so glad we made the switch, and I strongly recommend it to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pexip?

The interface of Pexip is really technical for some beginners, requiring more built-in app tutorials to make the initial setup easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Video Conferencing with Top-Tier Security"
What do you like best about Pexip?

I use Pexip to run secure video meetings and connect teams across different locations smoothly. I like how reliable and secure it is, especially when connecting different video systems together. I really like how smoothly it handles large meetings without quality issues. Pexip offers better security and smoother cross-platform meetings. It provides stronger security, better reliability, and smoother integration with different systems. Once the initial detailed setup was done, everything worked smoothly. I’d give it a 9 because it’s reliable, secure, and handles meetings across different platforms really well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pexip?

The setup can feel a bit complex at first, and the interface could be more user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unified, Secure, and Interoperable Video Solutions"
What do you like best about Pexip?

I use Pexip for secure and reliable video meetings and appreciate its seamless interoperability, connecting people on different platforms like Teams, Google Meet, or SIP systems without hassle. The video and audio quality are consistently reliable, and joining a meeting is simple from any device. Its security and flexible deployment options stand out, offering full control over data and privacy, and the ability to choose how and where data is hosted. I value that Pexip can be deployed on-premise or in the cloud, meeting security and data privacy requirements without sacrificing performance or usability. I also enjoy that it integrates smoothly with Microsoft Teams and Google Meet, making workflows more efficient by allowing users on those platforms to join the same meeting without switching apps. Installation was straightforward, and once deployed, the admin interface was easy to manage with users able to join meetings instantly. Overall, Pexip is a powerful and easy-to-use solution that makes hybrid collaboration effortless and gives me confidence to use it in any environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pexip?

While Pexip works very well overall, a few areas could be improved. The user interface, while functional, could be more modern and intuitive, especially for new users joining meetings for the first time. Occasionally, the initial setup and configuration can feel a bit technical for non-IT users, particularly when integrating with external systems or on-premise deployments. I've also noticed that mobile performance and browser compatibility could be smoother in certain cases. Lastly, adding more built-in analytics and user insights would help admins track usage and meeting quality better. Overall, these are minor issues, but improving them would make Pexip even more seamless and user-friendly for all types of users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Interoperability, But Pricing Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about Pexip?

I appreciate Pexip for providing a secure and reliable way to host video meetings, ensuring that platform compatibility is not a concern since participants can join from any device or system. One of the features I value most is its interoperability, allowing participants to seamlessly join meetings from Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or even traditional video conferencing systems without any hassle. In organizations where people use a variety of platforms, Pexip solves the challenge of accessing meetings effortlessly without the need for extra software installations or changes in workflow. The ease and convenience it offers enhance collaboration and communication significantly across different platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pexip?

I find the pricing of Pexip to be high compared to other solutions, which can be particularly burdensome for small businesses. There is no free or low-cost starter plan, and the lack of transparent pricing information available on the website is frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable video meetings without the unnecessary fuss"
What do you like best about Pexip?

I like that Pexip feels very stable and doesn’t make video calls a headache. I use it a lot when coordinating with different teams and external partners, and the quality stays consistent even when the network isn’t perfect. The interface is pretty straightforward, so I don’t have to explain anything to people joining from outside the organisation. It basically just works, which is honestly all you want from a meeting platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pexip?

The only thing I’m not a fan of is that it takes a little time to get comfortable with the layout if you’re switching from other platforms. A few features feel slightly tucked away, so the first few meetings can be a bit of a “wait, where is that?” moment. Nothing major, but there’s a small learning curve. "Easy Interoperability Across Teams, Zoom, SIP/H.323, and Browsers—With Flexible Deployment"
What do you like best about Pexip?

It offers easy interoperability, connecting Teams, Zoom, SIP/H.323 rooms, and browsers in one platform.

Plus, its flexible deployment (cloud, on-prem, or hybrid) gives better control over security and scalability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pexip?

Pexip can feel complex to set up and manage, especially for on-prem or hybrid deployments that require technical expertise.

It can also be costly for smaller teams, and the interface isn’t as intuitive as some newer competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
