I like that Pexip acts as the 'Swiss Army Knife' of interoperability, serving as the glue that holds a fragmented tech stack together. I appreciate how it allows high-end Cisco or Poly room systems to join a Microsoft Teams or Google Meet call with a single tap, removing the 'walled garden' frustration that usually comes with enterprise hardware. The Cloud Video Interop (CVI) for Teams and Google Meet is especially valuable as it lets traditional room systems join calls as if they were native devices. I find it beneficial that I don't have to replace expensive legacy hardware just because my company migrated to Teams or Google Workspace. I also like that participants in the room get a 'Teams-like' or 'Meet-like' layout, while remote users see the room system as just another high-quality participant. Additionally, I found the initial setup of Pexip very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The 'Hidden' Complexity (The Learning Curve) because Pexip is so flexible—offering self-hosted, cloud, and hybrid deployments—the initial setup and management are significantly more complex than 'plug-and-play' rivals like Zoom or Google Meet. Admins often face a steep learning curve regarding server configuration and licensing. Users have suggested more streamlined documentation and better 'out-of-the-box' presets for non-technical managers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
