"All-in-One HR Platform That Streamlines Everything"
5/5
What do you like best about Personio?

Being an HR professional, I work closely with Personio. Personio is all-in-one HR solution. It combines recruitment, onboarding, payroll, performance and employee management in one platform which makes our processes simple and efficient.

I also like its user-friendly interface, Personio is very easy to use for both HR team as well as for employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Personio?

As an HR professional working closely with Personio, I don't see any major drawbacks. However, like any growing platform, there is always scope of improvement and enhancement, so I feel Personio can work on offering more customization or flexibility for specific organizational needs.

Also, sometimes when using Personio's integration with Microsoft teams it occasionally misses the notifications of birthday and anniversary posts, so it can improve there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive all-in-one solution with room for improvement in support"
5/5
What do you like best about Personio?

I use Personio as a comprehensive HR tool that combines all my requirements, so that my employees and I can find everything in one place. I particularly like the well-structured and intuitive usability. The dashboard is a great help, as I have all the important information readily available at any time. The reporting function also supports me greatly. We switched from SAGE to Personio because it had the more intuitive and suitable offering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Personio?

Unfortunately, the support is not always directly accessible. Here, I wish for quicker access to the resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, superb data overview and helpful features – with strong support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Personio?

The usage is very intuitive, the data overview is great, and the functionalities are really helpful in everyday work. The support and the assistance from Personio are also consistently very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Personio?

HR controlling is unfortunately not yet developed enough to allow for planning or deeper insights (e.g., staffing plans, cost scenarios, KPIs). Additionally, I find it unfortunate that time tracking does not take duty scheduling into account and is still heavily oriented towards classic 9-5 jobs. If this is taken into account in the future, it would be truly fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient salary portal with modular expansion options"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Personio?

I like that many functions are bundled in one portal (Personio), where you can find the functionalities. Additionally, I like to use Personio to retrieve my monthly payslip. I particularly appreciate the ability to send documents confidentially to the HR department, such as seminar attendance confirmations or consents for the use of images. The short on-demand training videos made it easier to get to know the functions. Above all, the time flexibility was an advantage here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Personio?

Additional functionalities could be added, and the ability to customize one's own dashboard more would certainly be good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized HR Solution with Customization Perks, But Requires UX Improvement"
3/5
What do you like best about Personio?

I like that Personio is tailored to Germany, making it sync well with German payroll, which is very convenient. I also appreciate how it's mainly set up for Germany and Europe, which is easy to work with. Another thing I enjoy is the ability to do quite a few customizations myself, like setting up multiple work locations and adding public holidays. This customization feature allows for creating leave and time that are completely individual to the company, which I find very convenient. Also, the initial setup was very easy because it's local, their team in Berlin knows the market and the customers well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Personio?

I think the UX and UI is not really that great. They don't have great analytics. It doesn't really work that well. And, also, I think the user interface is not that nice. It seems it's very basic. Also, the features that they've introduced about performance review cycles or engagement survey feedback from employees is not that great, which is unfortunate because it would be ideal if I have an HRS which also has performance reviews and has feedback built in. But I don't think it works that well. So we use another tool for that, which isn't ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"HR tools that drive engagement and truly reflect our business"
5/5
What do you like best about Personio?

Over the last 12 months the changes to reporting have been incredibly welcome making data analysis of our people much easier. Additionally the implementation of AI tools have enabled much more self serve opportunities for our line managers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Personio?

Although there have been improvements reporting is something that could benefit from having increased built in reports whilst the tools are useful there is often a need to create new reports for what seem like obvious data points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient HR Tool with Intuitive Features"
4/5
What do you like best about Personio?

I find the calendar part of Personio very easy to use, and it looks good, which makes requesting vacation days straightforward and checking the team calendar convenient. It's helpful for easily knowing how many vacation days you have left, managing schedules, especially when working remotely, and coordinating with colleagues. I also appreciate the reminders about employee birthdays and anniversaries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Personio?

I find it inconvenient that, in the 'people to celebrate' section where I get reminders about birthdays and anniversaries, I can only see future events for either the next 7 days or the next 30 days. If I miss something while I'm off or because I am busy on a specific day, there's no way to see the recent history, for example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-friendly HR software with excellent document management"
5/5
What do you like best about Personio?

I particularly enjoy the ability to download salary documents like payslips or tax documents without having to go through a lot of effort for registration and authentication - that's really the best thing about Personio! Additionally, I find the very nice overview of working hours and vacations useful. The entire process of time tracking and vacation requests is very simple. The initial setup of Personio was also very, very easy for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Personio?

Perhaps the process of applying for compensatory time off/vacation could be made even simpler; at first glance, it's not entirely clear where one needs to click. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Personio: The complete solution for HR processes"
5/5
What do you like best about Personio?

I highly appreciate Personio because it is constantly and rapidly evolving, which shows that it wants to be the best HR software. I am pleased to see how requests and features from the community are implemented. The user interface, both UI and UX, remains up-to-date and the mobile app is continuously improving. I find it particularly practical that functions can be added as needed, so we only pay for what we actually use. Everything in Personio is perfectly integrated, which leads to very few errors. A major advantage is the self-management capability for employees, as they can book their times and absences themselves, which creates clear responsibilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Personio?

As mentioned, the app could be improved by adding more features and allowing employees who do not have a computer to view and edit more information. The biggest criticism is probably the pricing policy; for example, it would be better if you could pay per user instead of in packages, as you are somewhat disadvantaged if you are just below or in the middle of this threshold. Likewise, some additional packages feel very expensive, where alternatives are sometimes significantly cheaper. The DATEV interface could also be better, as things like vacation or bonuses, etc., are sometimes not yet transferred, which then leads to additional effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
